Maybe She's Kidnapped!
"It is crucial to find the CCTV footage. The woman disappeared, and we need your help to track her down," Jayden said firmly, reflecting deep concern.
The employee nodded quickly. "Alright, I will help check the CCTV footage as soon as possible. Please follow me."
Layla, although still in a shocked state, held onto Jayden's arm tightly, showing her trust in his efforts to find Agatha.
After checking the CCTV footage, it turned out that at the wrong time tonight, the CCTV was damaged. The minimart employees were also surprised to see that the recording from a few hours ago only showed a black screen.
With a tense expression, Jayden sighed in frustration. Then he tried another store in the area.
However, upon discovering that the CCTV in another minimart was also broken, Jayden rubbed his temples, trying to quell his disappointment and frustration.
"Why does everything have to be broken tonight?" Jayden muttered, trying to gather his patience. Layla, still by his side, looked at Jayden with deep concern.
"What now, Dad? I'm scared something happened to Aunt Agatha."
"Layla, we will find another way to locate Aunt Agatha. Perhaps there are other witnesses or clues that can help," Jayden said, trying to calm Layla and himself.
Seeing Layla becoming more hysterical, Jayden tried to embrace her with care.
"Layla, I know this is difficult, but we have to stay calm. Dad will do everything he can to find Aunt Agatha, but I need your support, okay?"
In his efforts to calm Layla's anxiety, Jayden sought ways to stabilize the situation while thinking about the next steps to find Agatha.
Confidently, Jayden decided to take Layla to the main house so that her grandmother could comfort her. "Layla, let's go home. Maybe grandma can provide support and calmness for you," Jayden said while holding Layla's hand.
The journey to the main house was a quiet moment, filled with Layla's diminishing sobs. Jayden remained focused on the next steps to find Agatha.
Ensuring Layla received the necessary comfort to calm her tears, Jayden sat next to Layla in the car, trying to provide support by holding her hand.
"What will happen to Aunt Agatha, Dad?"
Jayden tried to reassure Layla. "We will find out, Layla. First, let's calm you down with grandma."
Arriving at the main house, Layla hurriedly got out of the car. Sarah, who was sitting on the front porch, saw Layla running towards her crying and quickly approached.
"Layla dear, why are you crying like this?" Sarah asked with a worried look.
Hysterical, Layla hugged Sarah. "Aunt Agatha is missing! Dad said she might have been kidnapped!"
Startled, Sarah immediately held Layla to comfort her. Jayden then explained the situation seriously to his mother.
"I've reported to the police. Hopefully they can help. But I will also try to find her myself. I really need grandma's prayers," Jayden said.
"Of course, Jayden. I will pray for you. Let's go in, calm yourself inside," Sarah reassured.
They entered the house, slowly finding some tranquility in the family. Although the worry persisted, Sarah's calming words in the midst of the tough situation were enough to give Jayden the spirit to continue searching for Agatha.
After sitting together for a while, Jayden couldn't contain his restlessness any longer.
"But where are Mom and Dad?"
Sarah replied gently. "They are out of town for business matters. It's better not to tell them about this incident. Let them focus on their work."
Understandingly, Jayden nodded. "Alright. But I have to go again. Layla, you will be okay with grandma, right?"
With teary eyes, Layla nodded. Jayden quickly wiped her tears. "Dad will find Aunt Agatha. Don't worry too much, Dad will be back soon."
Layla looked at Jayden with hope. "Please find Aunt Agatha, Dad? Promise?"
"Dad promises, Layla."
Jayden gave a smile and gently patted Layla's head before leaving the main house. In his heart, his determination to find Agatha grew stronger.
On his way back to the minimart, Jayden searched every corner of the area and asked people around. Each step was filled with worry, and he couldn't find peace until Agatha was found.
Jayden's frustration widened as no clues were found. After a moment of contemplation, he suddenly remembered Rey, the smart and reliable secretary. Without hesitation, Jayden took out his phone and called Rey.
"Rey, I need your help. Can you come tonight as well? This is an emergency."
["Alright, Boss. I will come right away. But what actually happened?"]
Jayden briefly explained about Agatha's sudden disappearance and the unsuccessful search efforts. Rey expressed his readiness to help and immediately departed for the location.
While waiting for Rey, Jayden chose not to disturb Jonathan, his father, who was busy.
He understood that the situation might be hard for Jonathan to grasp as he was involved in his business matters. When Rey arrived, Jayden welcomed him with a hopeful face.
"What can I help with, Boss?"
Jayden explained everything that had happened and the search efforts he had made. Rey, with his intelligence and analysis, tried to provide suggestions and new strategies to expand the search network.
Jayden felt relieved to have Rey's assistance, and together they planned the next steps, hoping to find Agatha's trace as soon as possible.

Inside the moving car heading towards the Cakra Mansion, Agatha felt confused and scared. Despite being captive, her inability to hear the conversations around her made her even more restless.
The anesthesia kept her awake but unable to communicate. Cakra and Grace sat in the front seats, chatting happily.
"Finally, we did it, Grace. Agatha will surely be surprised when she realizes where she is," Cakra remarked.
Grace smiled with satisfaction. "I can't wait to see her reaction. She always considers herself too good for us."
"We have to ensure she can't escape or inform others about this location. Let her feel what she deserves," Cakra stated.
While Agatha remained bewildered, Cakra and Grace planned their next steps at their mansion.
They were pleased with the success of their plan and believed that Agatha wouldn't be able to escape their grasp.
With her body unable to move, Agatha could only ponder in her heart, trying to understand what was happening around her.
The two burly men holding her arms made her feel trapped and powerless. Meanwhile, Cakra and Grace continued discussing their plans with an air of joy.
"Are you sure this plan will succeed, Grace?" Cakra asked.
"Of course! We have enough time and a safe place in this mansion. Agatha won't be able to leave until we get what we want."
Cakra chuckled. "And Jayden, with his foolishness, couldn't properly take care of Agatha. Now we have a stroke of luck to control him."
Grace laughed cynically. "Exactly. He deserves to learn from this. We will show him that he can't underestimate others."
While Agatha listened to their conversation, her worries escalated. In her heart, she tried to devise a plan to handle this increasingly dangerous situation, hoping for a chance to free herself.
After a while, the car stopped in front of the grand mansion. Agatha could only peep through the gaps of her covered eyes, feeling the presence of many servants around. She was pulled towards the upper floor with rough movements.
However, her confusion heightened when she was suddenly thrown onto the bed, instead of being held captive in the underground room as she suspected.
For a moment, she felt relieved before being startled when her hands were suddenly tied on both sides of the bedhead.
Agatha tried to speak, but her voice was stifled by the tape covering her mouth. She could only look around with cloth-covered eyes.
She felt truly bewildered and scared. Cakra and Grace laughed cynically, realizing how comical Agatha's reaction was.
Grace smirked. "Do you think this will be a comfortable place for you, Agatha? No, you are sorely mistaken."
