Amazing Evening
As they sat at the table, Rey finally mustered the courage to ask, "Boss, sorry if this sounds sudden, but what's making you so cheerful today? Has something special happened?"
Jayden smiled warmly at Rey before answering, "Oh, Rey, this might sound cliché, but there has actually been a significant change in my life. Jonathan finally gave me his blessing for... something I've been dreaming of."
Rey widened his eyes, then nodded in understanding. He was genuinely happy to hear it. "Wow, I'm glad to hear that, Boss. I hope it brings happiness to you."
Jayden raised his glass. "Thank you, Rey. May we all achieve our happiness!"
Rey felt truly happy to hear the good news from Jayden. He seemed to sense his boss's happiness and realized that this change had a positive impact on the work atmosphere.
"It's truly heartwarming to hear, Boss. I hope everything goes smoothly and brings happiness for you in the future," Rey said with a sincere smile.
Jayden nodded. "Yes, thank you, Rey. I also hope so. And who knows, maybe this will bring a better work atmosphere here."
Rey smiled in agreement, hoping this change would bring goodness for everyone at the office. He didn't expect that the plan involving Agatha would have a great influence on Jayden.
Even the plan he had crafted with Layla to bring them closer yielded unexpected results.
"Ah, it's a pity that Agatha didn't come to the office today," Rey thought.
Indeed, Agatha didn't go to the office today because she had a busy schedule on campus. Jayden had known about it since last night when the girl asked for permission. Tomorrow, she would surely be surprised because the cafeteria food would be free for a few days to come.
Jayden wasn't intending to reveal the truth to Agatha just yet. He really wanted to see her surprised expression, which would surely be amusing.

In the evening, Jayden took Agatha and Layla for a drive around the city in a convertible car. Without informing Jayden of the destination.
He simply said he wanted to go for a drive. Jayden brought them to a stop at a beautiful park lit up with lights. The park was very well-known in the city.
The beautiful park emanated a magical charm at night. Jayden opened the car door, gesturing for Agatha and Layla to step out.
With gleaming eyes, Layla immediately ran towards the trees adorned with small lights.
"Wow, Dad! This place is so beautiful!" Layla exclaimed while jumping around.
Jayden smiled, observing Layla's enthusiasm. He looked at Agatha, who was also captivated by the beauty of the park. The warm evening atmosphere felt even better when Jayden offered his hand to Agatha.
"Would you like to take a walk with me, Agatha?" he asked with a gentle smile.
Agatha smiled and nodded. Suddenly, her heart felt aflutter. "Of course, Jayden."
They walked through the colorful flower-filled park, illuminated by small lights. Layla was busy collecting small flowers, following behind them.
"I remembered how beautiful this park was at night," Jayden said as they walked. "And I wanted to share this beauty with you."
Agatha smiled happily. "Thank you, Jayden. This is truly wonderful."
They continued their journey with the full moon as their witness. The warm and intimate atmosphere surrounded them under the twinkling stars.
Layla ran towards the glowing fountain in the middle of the pond. The sound of gurgling water and the light reflecting on the water's surface created a magical atmosphere.
Layla had fun, playing with the water and trying to catch a glimmer of light reflected by the fountain.
Meanwhile, Agatha and Jayden sat on comfortable garden chairs near the pool. They watched Layla with happy smiles. The calm evening atmosphere and togetherness made this moment so special.
Jayden looked deeply at Agatha. "Agatha, this is an extraordinary night for me. I am so grateful to have you and Layla in my life."
Agatha turned and smiled warmly. "I am also grateful, Jayden. I hope we have a bright future together."
They looked into each other's eyes, feeling the vibrations of happiness flowing between them. Layla rejoined them, bringing a handful of small flowers she had found around the fountain.
"Dad! Aunt Agatha! Look at this!" she exclaimed, showing the small flowers.
Jayden and Agatha laughed at Layla's enthusiasm. Jayden said, "They are so beautiful, Sweetheart. Maybe we can keep them as a memento of tonight."
They admired the beauty of the park together, illuminated by sparkling lights and Layla's small laughter breaking the silence of the night. The warm and peaceful atmosphere celebrated the happy moment among them.
After enjoying the beauty of the park, they decided to head back home. Jayden gently guided Agatha to the car. Layla had already run ahead.
On the way back, Jayden realized that the night was getting colder, and Agatha was only wearing a thin outfit.
Without informing Agatha, Jayden made a decision to provide her with extra warmth.
Arriving at a secluded spot, Jayden got out of the car and opened the passenger door slowly. He didn't want to wake Layla from her peaceful sleep.
"Forgive me, but I have something for you," he said with a smile.
Agatha was surprised when Jayden presented a warm drink in a plastic cup he held. She wondered when the man had gotten it.
"Ah, this is very sweet, Jayden. Thank you."
Jayden just smiled. He deliberately bought the drink in the park earlier only for Agatha. "I don't want you to catch a cold. The night air isn't very friendly."
In addition to the warm drink, Jayden also brought a jacket from his car. He helped Agatha put it on gently. "This will also keep you warmer," Jayden said attentively.
Agatha smiled, feeling both nervous and happy. "Thank you, Jayden. You always look out for me."
They continued their journey home in comfortable silence, accompanied by smiles and fond gazes between them. The night atmosphere increasingly became a witness to the budding romance between Jayden and Agatha.
Inside the car, a peaceful atmosphere was created. The city lights shone along the way, creating a romantic aura inside the vehicle. Jayden looked at Agatha gently, feeling happiness in his heart.
"It's been a long time since we did something like this," Jayden said, breaking the silence with a soft tone.
Agatha nodded in agreement. "Yes, this is a beautiful night. Thank you, Jayden."
Jayden smiled. "I'm glad to see you happy. And I want to make moments like this happen more often."
Agatha looked at Jayden gently. "Me too, Jayden. You make my life more meaningful."
Their journey continued with warmth, filled with light conversations and never-ending smiles. Upon arriving at her apartment, they stepped out of the car with hearts full of happiness.

"I seem to remember something," Jayden murmured after pulling the blanket to start sleeping.
"Back then, Layla mentioned a special birthday gift." Jayden looked at the ceiling of the room with his gaze directed towards his memory from a few weeks ago.
"She said, on this birthday... she wants a mother."
Jayden grinned inwardly, he remembered clearly when he agreed to her request without much thought. Once promised, how could he go back on it.
Jayden sighed. "Was that the right time then? The man's request also has been keeping me awake for the past few days."
True. Jonathan's words had not yet fully decided on the right time for him to express his feelings.
Whether by chance or fate, Jayden never expected Layla's request to be the same as Jonathan's request to get Agatha before someone else did.
