Chapter 44 - Bryan's Return
Bryan immediately called John because the paparazzi had taken pictures of him and Viola.
"John, there's a problem," Bryan said when John answered the phone.
"Paparazzi?" John guessed, surprising Bryan.
"How did you know?"
"Of course I know, I know everything that has happened to you. President."
"I'm sorry, although you have a lot of work. "But I keep adding to your work," Bryan said, feeling sorry.
"You are always adding to my work. So can you give me a raise this month? I'm really tired of limousines -" John stared at his cell phone. Bryan turned off his phone while discussing a raise.
"You have no feelings. He should be willing to give me a raise, right?" John asked the paparazzi that John managed to catch.
John saw all the contents of the paparazzi's camera and deleted all the photos, then took the trash.
"Are you hiding any trash?" he asked. His face looked very frightened.
"Nothing, only one is being used," the paparazzi replied, frightened.
"Listen, if tomorrow morning or even the next day there is a photo of the president with this woman and the news is not carrying it, the first person I will go after is you!" he threatened. The paparazzi got scared and left immediately after taking the camera.
The next day, Bryan arrived at the airport. He looked very happy because he could finally go home and see Angeline. I don't know why the day is so flowery. As a reminder before going home Bryan stopped at a flower shop and bought a bouquet of red roses.
"This time I will not turn around and give it to you. Angeline, I won't let you down again," Bryan said, looking at the flower in his hand.
Angeline was relaxing at home, looking at her flower garden, which was getting thicker and thicker. Nicolas doesn't come anymore. He has been replaced by the gardener Bryan hired, who will take care of Angeline's garden every day without a day off.
A little disappointed because the only activity Angeline could do, she can't do it anymore. Aside from being weak and having nausea and vomiting, Angeline is very uncomfortable with new gardeners.
As she was looking at the yellow roses that were blooming, a red rose suddenly appeared right in front of Angeline's face. Suddenly, Angeline was surprised and turned to the side. Bryan smiled broadly and gave Angeline a surprise.
"Bryan! When are you coming?" Angeline asked and started to get off the swing. Bryan helped Angeline, who was having a hard time because of her weight gain.
"Be careful, don't be so careless. Are you happy to see me home?" Bryan teased and Angeline snorted in annoyance.
"Don't snort! I'm just happy about the flowers. What... is that for me?" asked Angeline pointing to the flower Bryan was holding in his hand.
"Of course, who else would deserve such a flower?"
"Could she, Viola?" said Angeline, remembering the woman Bryan had mentioned last night.
"I won't be seeing him again, so... would you like to spend some time with me today?" asked Bryan and Angeline nodded enthusiastically.
Now Angeline is in a cake and dessert shop. Angeline looked at all the cakes that were clearly displayed in the sparkling glass case. Even his saliva almost fell down because he wanted to eat all the cakes. Their beautiful and appetizing appearance made Angeline choose several pieces of different cakes.
Bryan was already waiting at one of the tables with two cups of drinks. Fruit juice suitable for pregnant women.
Soon Angeline arrived with two trays full of different kinds of cakes. Bryan stared at her.
"Wow, you want to have a party? Why are there so many?" Bryan protested when he saw how full the tray was. Besides, these are two trays. I don't know how much Angeline spent to buy all this.
"What can't I do?" Angeline snapped angrily.
"Heh, it's not that, I mean, are you sure you can eat all that?"
"Yes, I can!"
"Okay, pregnant women, don't be mad. Please finish it." Bryan gave in and didn't want to argue anymore.
"Bryan eats too, I bought a lot for Bryan on purpose!" Angeline asked, making Bryan gape in surprise.
"What? But I don't like to eat sweet things like that. Do you know how many calories and sugar are in one slice of that cake?" Bryan was silent when he received a sharp look like a laser ready to fire and destroy the city.
"Okay, I'll eat. Don't worry. I'll finish the whole tray," Bryan said with a forced smile. Angeline immediately smiled happily.
Angeline tasted the cakes one by one and seemed to really enjoy them. He smiled broadly and closed his eyes, enjoying the deliciousness melting in his mouth.
"But why are we here? "Even though I wanted to take you somewhere else," Bryan asked, surprised because the first place Angeline mentioned was this cake shop.
"I really want to eat cake here. After you let me walk around here, I learned a lot of things."
"Many things?"
"Have you never walked around here?"
"What for? I have a car and can come with a driver."
"Man, how arrogant."
"Do you want to go somewhere after?"
"Hmm... where are you going?"
"Both of them are at the street food, it was still afternoon, so the place wasn't too crowded with visitors."
"Why are we here? Is this place very popular? "So many people came," Bryan said, surprised because he had never been to a place like this before.
"This is called street food, all the food and games here are cheaper than in the mall. "And I've been wanting to come here for a long time," Angeline said and started walking around.
Angeline looked around and wanted to buy some food, she looked at Bryan and Bryan took out his wallet.
"Is there no cash?" the clerk asked when Bryan gave him his credit card.
"Don't you take credit?"
"No, just a debit card if you want," the clerk said, and Bryan gave him cash as payment.
Angeline went around and asked to buy some dolls, but when she saw the dart game, Angeline preferred that.
"Why play games like that? You can buy them yourself," Bryan whispered in surprise.
"Getting a doll with a game is more exciting than buying one," Angeline said and threw the dart.
Unfortunately, her throw missed, but Angeline didn't give up and threw the dart again. Until the last throw, Angeline almost cried because it didn't work.
"Ah ... lost!" cried Angeline in frustration. Bryan sighed and bought another ticket.
"You want to play?"
"Which doll do you want?" Bryan asked confidently.
"The big one!"
Bryan got ready and aimed at the doll Angeline wanted. He threw the dart and Angeline stared in disbelief.
