Chapter 55 - Bright Morning
Their car pulled into the parking lot. Bryan brought Angeline's things. Meanwhile, Angeline ran happily and took off her shoes. She walked on the warm sand of the beach. She smiled broadly as she watched the birds fly over the beach water.
And felt the warm breeze on her beautiful face. Bryan rented a mat for them to sit on and put all their belongings on it. They ordered drinks and some snacks and placed them on a mat and a large umbrella to avoid the hot sun.
He saw Angeline playing with the waves coming and going. Bryan approached Angeline and carried her. On purpose, Bryan wanted to take Angeline into the sea. Angeline screamed and didn't want to go to the beach. But it was too late. Bryan had thrown her so that she was wet all over.
"Bryan! Watch out, I will reward you!" Angeline shouted, not accepting it because she was already soaking wet. He also chased after Bryan who had run away from him.
Laughter continued to color their faces. Angeline managed to catch Bryan and pushed him until he fell into the sea. Bryan got up angrily because his body was wet. He stared at Angeline who immediately ran away in fear.
"Watch out, you will get an answer!" Bryan shouted and started to chase Angeline. The two of them threw water at each other and continued to smile happily, enjoying the afternoon.
It doesn't matter how many pairs of eyes are watching them. They just feel an incomparable happiness. Bryan hugged Angeline who continued to pour seawater on him until his eyes burned.
Angeline rebelled and asked to be let go. But Bryan turned Angeline's body around and looked at her with a sad look. They both fell silent, their breaths rising and falling. Feeling the restlessness in the moving body. Bryan moved his face closer to Angeline's.
Angeline closed her eyes and waited to see what Bryan would do.
Bryan moved his face closer and closer to Angeline's. Until there was only an inch left, Bryan smiled his mischievous smile and pushed Angeline until she fell into the sea. He laughed at being able to trick Angeline like that.
Angeline didn't accept it and pulled Bryan again and let them both fall together. Again and again they joked and played in the water on the beach. Pushing, pulling and splashing each other with seawater until their entire bodies were wet from toe to hairline. There is no sadness, just a happy smile and a feeling that continues to flutter with joy.
Now Angeline enjoys warm milk because her body is starting to shiver from the cold. Bryan came and brought cup noodles to warm their bodies.
"Do you want to change your clothes too? So you don't get cold," Bryan said and gave Angeline a cup of noodles.
"No need, I'm not satisfied with playing in the water yet. I only brought a few clothes. "Well, it would be a shame if you want to change and then play again," Angeline said, accepting the cup of noodles and eating them with gusto.
"Is it okay if I play in the water for a while?" Bryan asked, drying Angeline's hair with the towel he had bought.
"It's okay, I just like playing in the water, hehhe," Angeline replied cutely.
It was getting dark. Angeline was busy preparing dinner for the two of them. He was turning the meat he was grilling.
Bryan was still struggling with the tent they were going to stay in.
Stars filled the sky that night. Lighting up the dark night. Accompanying two people joking with each other. Non-stop laughter.
Angeline began to feel sleepy. She hugs Bryan's body tightly. Bryan is still looking into the camera. Portraits of both of them are scattered on the camera.
"Aren't you tired yet Bryan?" Angeline asked.
"Do you remember this Angeline?" said Bryan and showed his camera. Forcing Angeline to wake up from her sleepiness.
"You still have it Bryan?" said Angeline in disbelief.
"Look... You look very beautiful," Bryan said amused. He laughed out loud. He ignored Angeline's frown.
"And I love this picture of Angeline." Bryan showed a photo of them in skiing gear.
"If we had met before, would our story be the same?" said Angeline dreamily. Bryan couldn't say anything. He did not know what to say.
"Angeline. Even if we were destined to meet before or in a few years. I will definitely bring you into my life, no matter what the story is. Because I believe there is a reason why I chose you that day, not another woman or someone else. But you," Bryan explained.
"But... If I was born into a different family, maybe we wouldn't be like this. I mean, maybe I could have a big hand in saving your company," Angeline said sadly. He regretted that the situation was so complicated.
"Do... Do you regret meeting me, Angeline?"
"Ahh... No. It's not that. I just thought it might be better. Whatever it is... I have never regretted any of my decisions, Bryan."
"I've never regretted liking a beautiful woman like you, Angeline."
Angeline and Bryan smiled happily at each other. Angeline hugged Bryan's body. And Bryan hugged Angeline's little body.
Slowly... Their eyes began to close. Feelings of happiness and comfort enveloped their hearts.
The sound of the morning waves is melodious. The chirping of birds adds to the beauty of the blue sky. The rays of the morning sun greeted a handsome man who was still sleeping. He was awakened by a gust of wind that entered the tent. Someone beside him was touching his bed. However, he did not feel the presence of the person. His eyes widened. He immediately got up and circled the tent. Panicked, he got out and ran along the quiet beach.
"Angeline... Where are you?" called Bryan, who was very worried.
"Angeline... Angeline!!!"
Bryan kept running. Until he saw someone who made his heart beat faster. His eyes filled with tears as he found the person.
"Bryan... Look... I found this!" Angeline shouted, showing off the shells she had found.
Bryan ran and immediately hugged Angeline tightly. His breath was ragged. He didn't want to lose the woman he loved so much.
"Where have you been? Why did you suddenly disappear, huh?" said Bryan angrily.
"I didn't go anywhere. I was just walking around and found some of these beautiful shells. Why are you so worried?" asked Angeline with a smile. She didn't expect to see Bryan's beautiful face, looking so afraid of losing her.
Angeline approached slowly. He stood on tiptoe and pulled Bryan to bend down. He kissed Bryan on the forehead. Bryan widened his eyes. Angeline laughed brightly. Your face is very beautiful. Besides, the sunlight hitting Angeline's face adds to her charm.
He pulled Angeline's waist. Bryan's right hand held Angeline's neck to get closer to her. He kissed those pink lips softly. Angeline's eyes began to close. She enjoyed the soft touch of Bryan's lips on her. Angeline's tiny fingers reached Bryan's back. Eliminating the distance between them. Their kiss deepened. There was an outburst of happiness on their faces.
