Chapter 60 An Outburst of Love
This morning, Kimberly invited her friends over for morning exercises. They were talking about Angeline and Bryan again.
"They look really good together, just like in the movies."
"Exactly, just one look and you can see they still like each other. Hey Kimberly, why are you saying that Angeline's husband is having an affair?"
"Do you think I'm lying?" Kimberly said irritably to herself.
"What's wrong with you?"
"You can't tell who's acting and who's not, can you? They're showing us clearly on purpose. They want to convince us that they like each other. How could you just be fooled?"
"I don't understand what you're thinking. Kimberly, are you really jealous of Angeline? Why are you always bad-mouthing Angeline? You're being very cruel," her friend quipped.
"Ah, you guys are really annoying. I don't want to see you anymore!" Kimberly got angry and left. His friends just looked at him strangely.
By chance, Kimberly bumped into someone. It was a sexy and very beautiful woman.
"Sorry," Kimberly said and tried to walk away.
"Wait, you're Marcel's wife, right? How is he? Why was it so hard for me to contact him last night?" said the woman who turned out to be Marcel's mistress. He was not embarrassed to greet Kimberly in such a public place.
"You?" Kimberly stared in disbelief.
"Give him my regards, tell him I'll wait for him tonight," the woman said confidently and left.
Kimberly held her stomach in pain. He's really upset now.
Angeline woke up early and felt sore from preparing for the party last night. He was confused again because Bryan didn't leave the room. Angeline dared to go to Bryan's room and when she opened the door, Angeline saw Bryan walking with a pale face and suddenly fainted in Angeline's arms.
"Jesus Christ. What am I going to do?" said Angeline in a panic.
Angeline panicked and immediately called the doctor. Soon the doctor came and examined Bryan who was already in his room.
"What happened to Bryan Doc?" Angeline asked in a panic.
"Mr. Bryan has an allergy, maybe he ate something that triggered his allergy. I gave him a shot of allergy medicine. Make sure he gets enough rest," the doctor explained and left.
"Okay, thank you, Doc," Angeline said, escorting the doctor to the front door.
Angeline stayed with Bryan that day. He kept changing Bryan's compression wrap.
"Hah, why did you eat that? You shouldn't have eaten it," Angeline said, feeling guilty. He laid his head next to Bryan and began to fall asleep.
In the afternoon, Angeline woke up and immediately checked Bryan's forehead, which woke Bryan up.
"Bryan, do you still have a fever? I'm sorry. It's because of me. Wait here, I'll bring you some food," Angeline said and started to leave, but Bryan held her hand.
"Why are you here?"
"Listen, you shouldn't eat things you're allergic to. The doctor said you're allergic."
"Then why are you here?" Bryan asked in surprise.
"Ah, I was just curious why you didn't go to work. But seeing you sick like this, you must be tired this week, right?" explained Angeline.
"Okay, you can go back to your room. I'm going to work," Bryan said and started to get up.
"No!" Angeline said and sat Bryan back down. He took Bryan's cell phone and sent a chat to John.
"Here, wait here. I'll make you some porridge," Angeline said and started to leave.
"No need, I'm not that hungry," Bryan said.
"Don't worry, I promise I will make delicious porridge."
After Angeline left, Bryan opened his cell phone and was surprised to see the contents of the chat Angeline had sent.
At the dining room table, Bryan sat and watched Angeline who was busy making something.
"Angeline, am I with a woman now?" Bryan asked Angeline.
"Why? Am I a man? You should have listened to me," Angeline replied, handing her a bowl of homemade porridge.
"I can still eat rice. I'm not a sick person," Bryan said.
"Bryan, what did you say? Don't complain, eat slowly and finish it, okay?"
"Who are you talking to?"
"Listen, you have to finish the porridge. Even if it's not tasty, eat it all!" Angeline ordered.
Bryan tasted Angeline's porridge and ate it with enthusiasm.
"It's delicious too."
"But I remembered something when I fell asleep earlier. Did you stay with me when I had a fever?"
"What do you mean? Why am I there all day?" replied Angeline with a nervous look.
"What's wrong with you? Do you remember what you were doing while I was sleeping?" Bryan asked, making Angeline even more nervous.
Bryan gave her an incredulous look.
"Wow, you don't remember?"
"What happened? What happened?" Angeline asked worriedly.
"Forget it, it's over," Bryan said and wanted to go to his room.
"What's wrong? What actually happened? Did I do something I shouldn't have?" said Angeline in a panic.
"Hahha, nothing happened. I was just kidding."
"Ish, you're annoying!"
Bryan took a bottle of mineral water out of the fridge.
"Here, drink this," Bryan said, handing him some mineral water.
"I don't want it! I want to drink something fresh," Angeline said, taking a cola from the fridge.
"You should thank me, what would happen if you left the house looking like this?"
"So what?" Angeline asked, not understanding.
"Go look at your face in the mirror."
Angeline put the Coke bottle on the kitchen table and went to the bathroom.
"Jeez, what is this?" Angeline complained and started to clean her panda face.
Bryan saw Angeline's Coke bottle and suddenly had a brilliant idea. Bryan immediately took the bottle and shook it madly. Bryan immediately gave the bottle back.
When Angeline came back, Bryan was standing quietly near the table. Angeline didn't suspect anything and immediately opened the coke.
The coke gushed out like an erupting volcano and Angeline fell in shock. Bryan burst out laughing.
Angeline was furious.
"Are you laughing? You're laughing, aren't you? Watch out," Angeline said. He took the coke bottle and attacked Bryan. Bryan ran away, Angeline also laughed.
Bryan managed to get the bottle and attacked Angeline again. Angeline ran away screaming.
"Hey you! Don't chase me!"
The two of them attacked each other until finally Bryan was full of happiness and felt happier.
"Ahh ah, I can't take it anymore," Bryan said, grabbing Angeline's hands and holding them behind her back. They both caught their breath and laughed in amusement.
Then it got serious and they looked at each other, Angeline dropped the coke bottle. Bryan moved closer and tried to kiss Angeline.
Angeline looked away, Bryan was stunned. Angeline looked at Bryan.
"Is this acting or real?"
"Real," Bryan replied. Then he kissed Angeline. Then Bryan broke the kiss and laughed.
"Are you happy?"
Angeline grabbed Bryan's face and kissed him again. They let out the feelings they had been holding in all this time. Soon they broke apart and Angeline smiled.
"Ah, it tastes sweet," Bryan said, smiling too.
