Seizing the Opportunity
Daniella walked through the Sebastian Mansion, her heels clicking on the marble floor. The quiet of the house made her thoughts louder. The family tension had reached a breaking point, and Daniella felt things were finally going her way.
Victoria was leaving Louis. The divorce papers had arrived, and the strong bond between them was breaking. Daniella felt a rush of happiness she hadn't felt in a long time. This was her moment.
As she walked into the grand foyer, Daniella thought of all the possibilities. The scandal and drama from the divorce had set the stage for Victoria to fall. All Daniella needed to do was take advantage of the situation and get rid of the woman who had caused so much trouble.
Victoria's parents, Robert and Margaret Watson, had tried to smooth things over with the Sebastians after the divorce started, but Daniella didn't care about their apologies. They raised Victoria, the very person who had caused chaos in the Sebastian family.
With Victoria about to leave Louis, Daniella sees a perfect chance to remove her from Louis's life, the company, and Sebastian's name.
"She's weak now," Daniella said to herself, looking out the window. "She's emotionally shattered, and soon she'll be gone for good."
But Daniella wanted more than just to watch Victoria leave. She wanted her to suffer for all the pain she had caused. With Louis too hurt to defend Victoria, Daniella felt it was the right time to act.
Later that day, Daniella met with her new partner-Monica Blake, a former rival of Victoria's in the legal field.
Monica had once competed with Victoria at a law firm but lost to her talent. That loss had stayed with Monica, and Daniella had convinced her to join her plan to bring Victoria down. Together, they started plotting against her.
Monica smiled as she drank her wine. "I heard the divorce papers were delivered. How's your brother doing?"
Daniella waved her hand. "He's a mess. But this is what needed to happen. Victoria has been ruining his life for too long. Now, he can finally think clearly."
Monica raised an eyebrow. "And you think she'll just leave quietly? Victoria won't go down without a fight."
Daniella smiled coldly. "That's why we won't let her. I don't just want her out; I want her reputation destroyed. I want her to lose everything."
Monica leaned in, curious. "Tell me more."
Daniella's eyes sparkled with anger as she explained her plan. "We need to hit her hard. In her job and her life-everything has to fall apart. She's still tied to the Sebastian name through the company, and that's our way in. If we can show she's been doing bad things at work, it will ruin her."
Monica grinned. "You want to frame her?"
"Exactly," Daniella said sharply. "We can use her work on recent projects to create fake evidence. With the press already buzzing about the divorce, it won't take much to get the story out there."
Monica laughed darkly, swirling her wine. "It's a risky plan, but it could hurt her if done right."
"That's the goal," Daniella replied coldly. "I want her destroyed. I want her to lose everything she cares about. When she has nothing left, she'll see that joining this family was her biggest mistake."
The next few days were spent planning the attack. Daniella and Monica worked quietly, using their connections to create fake evidence that painted Victoria as a company saboteur. They carefully designed a story that linked her to financial problems and bad management in the Sebastian business.
Daniella felt excitement as everything began to come together. Soon, the press would catch on, and when the news broke, Victoria wouldn't be able to recover.
This was about more than revenge-it was about completely erasing Victoria. To Daniella, she was a stain on the Sebastian family name that needed to be cleaned up.
One evening, as Daniella finalized her plan, Louis entered her study.
"Daniella," he said tiredly, "we need to talk."
Daniella looked up, pretending to be innocent. "About what?"
Louis stepped closer, his eyes sad. "About everything. About Victoria. I know things have been hard, but we can't keep hurting each other. This family is falling apart, and I don't want to lose more."
Daniella narrowed her eyes. Louis had always been the emotional one, believing in fixing things. But she had lost that hope long ago. To her, it was about survival.
"I don't want the family to fall apart either, Louis," Daniella said softly but firmly. "But you need to understand that Victoria is the problem. She's toxic and has been controlling you for years. This divorce is the best thing for you."
Louis shook his head, looking torn. "She's not the only one at fault, Daniella. We've all contributed to this mess. I don't want to see her destroyed, no matter the pain she's caused. She's still my wife-for now."
Daniella felt anger rise inside her. "For now? Louis, she's leaving you. You have to accept that and focus on rebuilding your life-our life-without her."
Louis looked at her, frustration in his eyes. "I don't want to live like this anymore. I'm tired of all the scheming. I want peace. If Victoria and I can separate without harming each other, that's what I want."
Daniella's heart hardened. Louis was weak in her eyes. He couldn't see the bigger picture; weakness wasn't an option in their world.
"You may want peace, Louis," Daniella said coolly, "but I won't let Victoria walk away without consequences. She's caused too much damage, and she needs to be punished."
Louis's eyes narrowed in suspicion. "What are you planning, Daniella?"
Daniella smiled, though it didn't reach her eyes. "Nothing for you to worry about. Just trust me, Victoria will get what she deserves."
Louis stepped closer, voice sharp. "Daniella, whatever you're planning-don't. This doesn't have to get worse."
But Daniella had made up her mind. There was no turning back. "You've always been too soft, Louis. That's why she took advantage of you. I won't let her win."
Louis shook his head, frustration clear. "This isn't a game, Daniella. If you keep this up, you'll only make things worse for everyone."
Daniella watched as Louis left the room, his footsteps heavy with defeat. She didn't care what he thought anymore. He was too caught up in his feelings to see the truth.
To Daniella, Victoria's fate was already decided, and soon, everyone would know that Daniella Sebastian was not someone to be crossed.
