The Truth Behind Victoria's Arrest
Amaya Davidson was always good at getting what she wanted. But when she found out that Barry Joe, her partner in getting sensitive photos of Victoria, had betrayed her, she was furious. Barry had secretly given those photos to Malcolm Sebastian, ruining Amaya's plan. Now, she wanted revenge.
Two Weeks Earlier
Amaya had been waiting for the right moment to act. She followed Victoria to a café where she was meeting a client. It was a busy street, so Amaya easily got into Victoria's car without being noticed. She picked up the lock and took a gun from the glove compartment, using gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints.
She needed Victoria's fingerprints on the gun. Amaya had cleverly taken them from a glass Victoria left behind at a party. She had planned to use those prints later.
Back at her apartment, Amaya placed Victoria's prints on the gun perfectly using a special mold she got from the black market. She was careful and precise in her work.
Now, feeling both angry and betrayed, Amaya watches the surveillance footage of Barry accepting money from Malcolm.
'That coward," she muttered, feeling betrayed after all she had done for him. 'How could he turn on me?"
Taking a deep breath to calm herself, Amaya knew she had to stay focused. Barry had been useful to her plans, and she had promised him wealth and power. Now he had thrown it all away for money.
'This changes nothing," she sneered. 'In fact, it might even help me."
She quickly called Barry, telling him to meet her at her office.
As she waited for him, Amaya's mind raced with ideas. She had to be careful; one mistake could ruin everything.
Soon, Barry entered, looking nervous.
'Amaya? What's going on?"
Amaya stood up smoothly. 'Barry, I'm glad you're here. We have a lot to talk about."
Barry looked uneasy. 'If this is about the money—"
Amaya cut him off. 'This isn't about money. It's about your betrayal."
Barry turned pale. 'Betrayal? I don't know what you mean."
Amaya grabbed him by the throat. 'Don't act innocent. I know about your deal with Malcolm."
Barry gasped for air. 'Please, I can explain—"
'Explain?" she hissed. 'You betrayed me. You betrayed everything we worked for."
Barry begged for mercy, saying he needed the money. Amaya's grip tightened as she rejected his excuses.
'You made your choice," she said coldly. 'Now face the consequences."
In a sudden move, Amaya pushed Barry against the wall. He fell to the floor, coughing and scared.
'You were ambitious, Barry," she said, looking down at him. 'But you're just a coward."
She reached for her gun. 'And cowards don't get to live."
Barry begged, 'No, please! I'll do anything!" Amaya's finger was on the trigger. 'It's too late for that."
The gunshot echoed in the office, and Barry fell to the ground, lifeless. Amaya stood over him, trying to feel detached. She needed to clean up the mess and get rid of the body.
Wrapping Barry's body in a tarp, Amaya felt a hint of regret. He had been useful, but now he was a risk.
'It's nothing personal," she whispered. 'You were just in the wrong place."
She lifted the wrapped body into her car, her mind focused on what to do next. She had to find a place to bury Barry where he wouldn't be discovered.
Amaya drove to a remote area, where she buried him in a shallow grave. She worked quickly, knowing she had little time. The grave was hastily covered, but it was part of her plan.
After burying Barry, Amaya drove to Victoria's office to plant evidence that would frame her. She sneaked in, using the code she had observed before to unlock Victoria's safe.
She placed a second gun inside, ensuring it looked like it had been hidden in a rush.
Once done, Amaya headed to the Sebastian family dinner, needing to make her next move soon.
Earlier That Evening
Amaya had been watching Barry closely. She knew he was giving information to Malcolm Sebastian that could ruin her plans. Now that he was no longer useful, she decided it was time to eliminate him.
After killing Barry, Amaya drove to bury him quickly. She worked fast, knowing she couldn't afford mistakes.
Once buried, she sped off to The Sebastians' mansion, ready to set her plan in motion.
Amaya arrived just as the guests entered. She collected herself before entering, blending in with the crowd while keeping an eye on Malcolm.
As dinner went on, Amaya saw her chance. The dining room doors burst open. Amaya stood in the doorway, eyes blazing, a gun in her hand.
"Amaya!" Louis jumped to his feet. "What are you doing here?"
Amaya's gaze locked on Victoria. "You!" she spat. "You think you can just replace me?"
Victoria froze as Amaya raised the gun. The room fell silent, the facade of civility crumbling.
"Amaya put the gun down!" Louis shouted, stepping forward with raised hands.
Amaya's finger edged toward the trigger. "No, Louis. You don't get to decide what I do. Not anymore."
Time slowed. Victoria saw her life flash before her eyes—her ambitions, her dreams, all leading to this moment.
Malcolm surged from his seat, throwing himself between Victoria and Amaya just as the gun went off. The blast echoed through the room.
"Dad!" Louis screamed as Malcolm crumpled to the floor, clutching his chest. Blood spread across the polished floor.
Victoria stumbled backward, horrified. Elizabeth's cry split the air as she rushed to her husband. "Malcolm, stay with me!" she sobbed.
Panic erupted. Guests screamed, diving for cover or scrambling for the exits. Louis tackled Amaya, the gun skidding away.
"Amaya, what the hell were you thinking?" Louis yelled, pinning her down.
Tears streamed down Amaya's face. "I didn't mean... I didn't..." she choked out, her defiance replaced by terror.
Police sirens wailed, growing louder. Officers stormed in, weapons drawn, dragging Amaya away.
Two Weeks Later
Victoria was at the hospital with Louis, unaware that the police had searched her office and found the second gun with her fingerprints. They linked her to Barry's murder, and when they found his body, everything fell into place.
Victoria received a call and saw missed messages from her secretary but was too focused on Malcolm's recovery to respond.
When the police arrested her, she was confused and scared, knowing she was innocent but facing serious charges.
As Victoria was taken away, Louis vowed to find the truth, while Amaya watched from the shadows, confident that her plan had worked perfectly.
Will they find out that the person who did this is already behind bars? Because there is no way Victoria is going to escape this unless there is clear evidence that she didn't kill Doctor Barry Joe. Will this evidence come to light?
