Harry Part 3
A loud sound came from the doorway, showing Sean's figure. At the same time, I felt the hand gripping my neck let go and immediately made me fall to the floor. The figure disappeared as soon as Sean ran to me.
"Leslie, what are you doing? You're fine, right?" Sean's voice sounded frantic. I'm glad Sean broke down the toilet door and saved me. I might have been dead if he had been even a little late.
"Earlier I saw you floating, what happened? Did a ghost attack you?" he asked, still with panic in his voice. This time, I nodded my head in response.
I was still afraid and panicked, so that I couldn't speak. Sean seemed to understand because he didn't ask me anything else. He took me in his lap and led me out of the toilet. The IV tube attached to my hand is now detached due to the terrible incident earlier.
Sean laid me on the bed and covered me with the blanket. Then I saw him pressing a button not far from my bed. I knew he was trying to contact the nurse. I still feel my body shaking. That incident scared me.
Sean hugged me gently. I could feel his enormous affection for me.
"Relax, you're safe now. I'm here with you," he said in a soft voice. He also stroked my head lovingly, making me feel very comfortable.
Shortly after, a nurse was seen entering the room.
"What's going on here?" asked the nurse in surprise. I'm still speechless. I haven't been able to get complete peace. Sean seemed to notice because he was the one who answered the nurse's question. Sean reasoned that I fell in the toilet. That's an intelligent answer because there's no way we could tell the nurse that a ghost has just attacked me. I'm sure the nurse wouldn't believe it.
The nurse gave me medicine because she seemed aware of my panicked state. She also put in a new infusion for me. When the nurse offered to let Sean inject his information, which had been released for some time, Sean refused. He reasoned that his condition was fine and did not need any more infusions. Even though, at first, the nurse forced Sean to get another IV, it seemed she couldn't fight my stubborn boyfriend any further. The nurse left the room after a little argument with Sean earlier.
Sean again stroked my head gently with his gaze, which was challenging to decipher. But I have regained my composure over this treatment.
"Sorry to make you worry." Finally, I managed to get my voice out. Sean looked relieved. He smiled at me with his hand still stroking my head.
"What happened? Can you tell me?" I nodded my head. I had to tell Sean about the incident earlier.
Sean didn't criticize my story in the slightest. He was a loyal listener focused on listening to my account until I finished mine.
"It's strange why the ghost attacked you?" I shook my head because I didn't know why the ghost attacked me.
"Then did the ghost show you its memories?" I answered back with a shake. The ghost doesn't show me its memories. It's very different from the ghosts I've met so far.
"This is so weird, usually they show you their memories. I think we should tell Angie about this."
"No, Sean. It's still midnight. After all, Angie is still hurt, I don't want to harm her anymore."
"It can't be like that. We still have to tell Angie." Sean looked annoyed at what I said, but I didn't want to involve Angie anymore.
"Angie is pregnant, Sean. You didn't forget that, did you? Her condition is very weak right now, I don't want to harm her and her womb anymore." Sean took a deep breath and snorted a little. I know he still doesn't agree with what I said. However, I know, on the other hand, Sean realized the truth of what I said.
"Then what should we do? The ghost might attack you again."
"I don't think so anymore. Maybe he was just annoyed because I used the toilet. But now I don't feel any sign of him, so I think he's gone." Sean took another deep breath. He looked at me intensely worried.
"Lesley, I'm sorry. Don't be offended by my words. But I do hope you don't involve yourself with any more ghosts. You've been getting involved with evil ghosts lately. I don't want to see you in any more danger. So, can you promise me you won't get involved with ghosts again?" I cringed at his request, but I can not grant it.
"Sean, we talked about this before. When we decided to go back to dating after we broke up, you promised to accept my ability. You promised you wouldn't ban me again, but why are you banning me now? Do you want to break your promise?" Sean was wide-eyed at my story. He was silent for a moment.
"I don't like people who break their promises!" I said it firmly. I could see the disappointment on Sean's face. But I will never go back on my words.
"Hmm, okay. It's up to you," he answered briefly but was disappointed.
"I want to sleep, Sean."
"Yes, sleep." I tilted my body so that my back was to Sean, who was still standing over me. I could hear his footsteps moving away from me as he lay back on his bed.
The atmosphere became silent between us. I looked at the clock on the wall. The time showed 03.17. This means that 1 hour has passed since the terrible incident earlier. I tried to close my eyes again, but it was useless. I don't feel sleepy anymore. But I have to force myself to sleep even though I think my body is fragile.
"Help! Help!"
I opened my eyes when I was sure I heard someone's voice asking for help. I looked at Sean lying on his bed, his eyes closed, indicating he was asleep. This proved that the singer had not come from Sean.
"Help! Help!"
Again, the sound was heard, and I'm sure the sound came from under my bed.
I feel my heart beating rapidly. This quiet atmosphere even allows me to hear the sound of its beating.
"Help! Help!"
The sound was getting more apparent: a man's voice and I'm sure the sound came from under my bed. I swallowed my saliva, holding back my fear. I've seen ghosts many times, but that doesn't mean I don't feel scared whenever I feel their presence. I always feel afraid whenever I think of a sign of their company. Right now, I'm sure I can feel his presence.
Bracing myself, I positioned my head to look under my bed.
My heart was still beating wildly, but I had decided to look at whatever figure I was sure was under my bed.
Now I look under my bed but see nothing and am very relieved. I positioned my body to lie down again when suddenly I felt stiffness like the one I felt earlier when I was in the toilet. My eyes widened perfectly when a terrible face was before me. That face is unmistakably the face of the ghost that attacked me in the bathroom earlier. His body hovered right above mine. Slowly, I felt pressure on my hand as if someone was pressing it. The face drew closer and stuck out its long tongue at me.
"I need you."
The ghostly voice whispered. Now, it's not just my hands. I feel pressure on my body that makes me unable to move. I wanted to scream for Sean, but once again, my tongue felt so numb that I couldn't speak. Sean was still asleep in his bed. I wish he would wake up and save me from this creepy ghost again.
The ghost's tongue was getting closer to me. I could no longer look at him, so I closed my eyes as tightly as possible. After that, I felt my body move away from my bed, not because I woke up but because my body was floating in the air. My body is getting higher and closer to the ceiling of this room. I try to move my body, but it's useless. My body feels stiff, as if something is binding me.
The position of my body that was initially stretched out was now moved by force or at whatever point. What is certain is that now my situation has changed to face down. I looked at my bed, which was not too far from me because the ceiling in this room was not too high. But I was amazed when I saw my bed down there shift by itself so that what I saw right below me was a floor with white tiles.
"Leslie!!" shouted Sean, who seemed to have woken up because of the sound of my bed shifting by itself earlier.
"Seaaaaan!!!" I shouted. At the same time, I felt my body slide down quickly, about to hit the tiled floor. At a glance, I saw Sean running towards me, but I don't know what happened because it was pitch black around me.
