Sarah Part 9
"Hihihi."
The sound of laughter from Angie's mouth further proved that Sarah's ghost possessed her body at this time.
"Mr. Leo, how old is Angie's womb?" I asked Leo. Leo looked still amazed to see his wife's condition. I also do not believe that Sarah could possess Angie. Angie is a strong woman, especially after the Inez ghost incident a few months ago, making Angie's supernatural powers grow. But hearing the fact that Angie was pregnant, I understood everything. Angie's body became weak due to her pregnancy; therefore, she was easily possessed. Angie should have realized the state of her body, but to save me, she sacrificed herself. No, it's more like Angie entrusting her safety to me. I'm sure she believes that I can protect her from the influence of Sarah's ghost, and because of that, I will do anything to get Sarah's spirit out of her body.
"Two months. You have to do something, Leslie. I don't want to lose my wife and child," said Leo. Of course, without him saying it, I would do whatever I could to save Angie.
"Sarah, I already know your problems, pain, sadness, and hate. Also, the grudge that burns inside you. I promise I'll help you because it's out of Angie's body. She has nothing to do with your hatred." Sarah's reaction to Angie's body was far from what I expected. She was jumping up and down and somersaulting in front of us with her gleeful laugh, even though it sounded scary to our ears.
"Get out of my wife's body, I beg you. Just enter my body, I'm willing to surrender my body to you. Please don't her, don't hurt my wife and child!!" Leo screamed heartbreakingly, making me shed tears without realizing it.
"How about it, Leslie? Angie's womb is still very young. It's hazardous if she continues to do acrobatics like that," Sean whispered. I forced myself to get up because I was still in Sean's arms. My limp body makes me helpless if Sean doesn't support me in his arms. But I forced myself to stand. Sean seemed to realize what I meant because he helped me up. My body ached and stiffened, and pain spread in every inch of my body. I kept forcing myself to get up until I finally managed to stand up straight.
Sarah, who was still in Angie's body, stopped her acrobatics. She floated towards the cupboard. Then, with Angie's fist, she smashed the mirror on the dresser. The mirror broke, proving that Sarah's punch was tough and strong. Angie's fist spat out enough blood that it dripped onto the floor. The shards of the mirror scattered on the floor, and one of the more giant shards was picked up by Sarah. Could she be going to jab the shards of glass at us? That's about what came to my mind.
However, my prediction was wrong when I saw her scraping the glass shard into Angie's arm, causing it to bleed. The wound she made on Angie's hand seemed quite big and deep. I covered my mouth with my hand, unable to witness this terrible scene before my eyes.
"No! Stop it! I beg you to stop! Kill me, not her!!" Leo shouted, now accompanied by sobs. Leo, who always looks calm, seems to have turned out to be not himself. He was very hysterical, panicked, and scared. I can understand because I feel the same fear and panic as him.
"Hihihi… this woman is going to die with her child. She already pisses me off, she's a bully." Sarah said, filled with anger. I could see the anger in her bright red eyes.
She returned to scratching the shards of glass on Angie's arm so that now her white and smooth arm was covered in wounds that were bleeding quite a lot.
"SHE WILL DIE!!" Sarah shouted while aiming the broken glass right at Angie's stomach.
"No. Please do not do it. I beg you, Sarah. I know you've been through a lot of suffering in your past. I understand the pain you felt before. But Angie is completely innocent. Please don't hurt her anymore. Besides that, you have also been pregnant and felt happiness when you are about to become a mother. You also felt pain when they took your baby, right? You know the pain. That's why I beg you don't let Angie feel it too," I said, trying to persuade Sarah not to hurt Angie again.
"This woman is a bully!!" she shouted again.
"She didn't mean to bother you. She just wanted to help me. She doesn't know anything about your suffering. Forgive her if she upsets you. She doesn't mean to. After all, if you hurt her and the baby, you're just like them. Like the people who have killed you. You hate them, don't you Sarah? You want to get your revenge on them right? They should be the ones you hurt, not the innocent Angie. I promise I will help you get revenge on them, so please don't hurt Angie anymore." I hope my words can open her heart. Although I'm not too sure her heart will be touched because of my words. However, this is all I can do to make her stop hurting Angie. I'm an indigo girl who can see and communicate with ghosts, but I'm not a psychic like Angie, who knows how to exorcise a ghost possessing someone.
'Hiks... Hiks... Hiks... Hiks..."
The sound of crying came from Sarah. Yes, I know it was she who was crying right now. The sound of sobbing filled the room.
"Sarah, I will avenge you. They will get the punishment they deserve for their crimes. I promise because it's out of Angie's body. I ask." I couldn't stop my tears that were flowing fast. I'm scared, so scared that I'm going to lose Angie.
"Prove your words. I will not get out of this woman's body until you prove your words." Sarah said that, and I immediately felt immense relief in my heart. At least I have a chance to do something. I am doing what I'm supposed to do to save Angie and solve Sarah's problem so she can feel at ease and return to her realm.
Sarah removed the shard of glass in her hand. Then she walked backward. She's not floating but walking on Angie's two feet. She walked backward slowly. One by one, her feet stepped back until they hit the wall. Then, still, with her back to the wall, she crawled back up. She continued to crawl up the wall while grinning at us. She crouched crookedly against the wall as if she could defy gravity. Of course, she could do that because ghosts can do even the most incredible things.
"I will wait here. QUICKLY PROVE YOUR WORDS!!" she shouted angrily. I quickly nodded my head in response.
"Sean, please call the police here immediately. After that, follow me, and Mr. Leo stay here. Take care and pay attention to Angie," I said, which Sean immediately complied with but was ignored by Leo. Leo was still glaring at Angie, who was crouching against the wall. His tears kept flowing.
"The police will be here soon. Now, where are we going?" Sean asked after he put the cell phone he used to call the police back into his trouser pocket.
"Just follow me. Mr. Leo, we're leaving first."
"Yes, hurry up. Don't let Angie die from loss of blood," Leo replied with a trembling voice.
Sean and I ran out of the room without wasting any more time.
