Harry Part 8
Along the way, Leo told the events that happened to Riska. Riska is none other than Harry's sister. She didn't seem to believe Leo's story, but I didn't care. I'm just busy with my thoughts. I couldn't stop thinking for a moment about Leslie. I'm worried about her. I also think about her parents. I haven't told them about Leslie's condition; they entrusted Leslie to me, and I don't know how angry they will be at me if they find out about Leslie's situation.
I decided to solve this problem ASAP without telling Leslie's parents. Of course, it would be a different story if things got more complicated. Of course, I would immediately tell Leslie's parents and be prepared to accept their reaction.
This journey has been long enough that even though I stopped my daydreaming activities, this journey is still not over. Leo and Riska stopped their conversation and remained silent, busying themselves with their thoughts.
The road to the Villa was tranquil and seemed to be near the mountains. After spending about 3 hours, we finally arrived at the Villa, which is quite spacious. This place is more suitable to be called a Mansion than a Villa. We stepped our feet into the Villa. The situation in this Villa is quite luxurious, which indicates that the owner of this Villa is none other than a reasonably wealthy family.
The three of us checked every room in this Villa and ended up disappointed because we didn't find a single sign of anyone being there.
"You see, my brother isn't here?" asked Riska mockingly because we didn't believe her and insisted on checking this place.
"Isn't there a dungeon or some kind of secret room in this Villa?" Leo asked, which made Riska sigh in annoyance.
"Sorry, our past experiences made me have to ask you this," Leo said with a chuckle.
"I don't know, but as far as I know there is no room like what you asked about in this villa," she answered firmly. Leo and I looked at each other.
"How's Sean? Do you want to keep looking, or should we leave?" Somehow, I felt reluctant to leave this Villa because without answering Leo's question, I walked away from them, heading out.
"Looks like he gave up on looking. He is more kind and understanding than you, who are stubborn." I can still clearly hear Riska's words, which are aimed at Leo.
"Not necessarily, right? He couldn't give up looking for clues to save his girl. Yes, that's if he's still the person I used to know," Leo said, which, for some reason, made me smile hearing that. I listened to their footsteps following me from behind.
Outside the Villa, I wandered in all directions until my eyes accidentally caught something awkward. I saw a small wooden door in a corner near the garden of this Villa. Without hesitation, I stepped closer to the door.
Arriving at the door, I was relieved that the door was not locked.
"You said there is no secret room in this Villa. Then what room is behind this door?" Now, it was Leo's turn to ask Riska with a mocking tone to his voice. Riska looks nervous. Yes, I can catch her nervousness.
"Y-yes, there is indeed a room here. But since our father bought this Villa, to be honest, I've never been inside. After all, we rarely visit this Villa," answered Riska, who I ignored because now I've stepped inside.
The pungent smell immediately hit my nose—an unpleasant odor resembling the smell of carrion. I spontaneously covered my nose with my hand. The same thing was done by Leo and Riska. But of course, that doesn't stop us. We continued to enter whatever room it was.
My eyes widened when we finally reached the middle of the room. Several rooms resembling cells were visible to my eyes.
"Aaaaaa! Older brother!!!" Riska shouted, which immediately made me look at her. We ran towards someone's body lying on the floor. The body of a man lying stiff in a pathetic condition, his face was destroyed because of the many puncture marks. Even though his face was not clear because of his injuries, seeing Riska's reaction, I was sure that this body was indeed Harry's body.
"Sean, look at this!!" shouted Leo, who had been standing near the cell rooms for some time. I approached him. There was a woman's body near one of the cells in no less pathetic condition. A single thread did not cover her upper body, and there was a gash in the shape of the word 'HARRY' across her stomach extending to her chest. Seeing her, I also realized something: Harry was the one who had tortured this woman before she died.
"This woman is not the only victim. Look inside those cells!" Leo's words made me immediately direct my gaze to the cells-like rooms. Immediately, I felt my body tremble. There were many women's bodies with their feet bound in chains in every cell room. The condition of their bodies was no less deplorable, indicating that they also experienced various tortures before they died.
"Hey, looks like that guy named Harry is a psychopath. I remember the ghost of Inez, they more or less have the same personality," said Leo, which also made me remember a scary tragedy that we experienced just before we graduated from Grandes High School.
"Don't talk carelessly, my brother is not a psychopath!!!" shouted Riska, still near Harry's body with broken sobs.
"Who do you think locked up these women and did all this cruelty if not your brother?" Leo doesn't seem to want to lose at odds with Riska. As for me, I was still busy looking at the faces of the women's bodies in each room of the cell one by one. But there was no Leslie figure among them. Haah, of course, there was no way I could see Leslie. After all, Leslie's soul was locked up, and there was no way my eyes could see her.
"Look, someone killed my brother. It must be that person who did all these atrocities!!" shouted Riska. Leo intended to respond to Riska's words, but I quickly shook my head so that Leo discouraged him.
"Just let her be, there's no use arguing with her. We have to find Leslie."
"Yeah, you're right. I'll call Angie." Leo took out his cell phone, but soon, he chuckled in annoyance while his gaze was fixed on his cell phone.
"Shit, no network," he said. I rushed to get my cell phone. I was no less annoyed when I saw that my cell phone was in the same condition as Leo's. Seeing my reaction, Leo also seems to have noticed what happened to my phone.
"I'm going out to network," he says, to which I nod in response. Leo walked towards the door, and his steps stopped when a scream sounded. The cry came from Riska, who was in a state of her body being lifted as if someone was raising her.
"Aah! Help me!!" she shouted. Leo and I rushed to run toward Riska, but we were too late. Suddenly, Riska's body was thrown so far that it hit the cell. She fell and lost consciousness. Leo and I intended to approach her, but once again, our steps were stopped because of a strange incident that had happened again. The objects in this place flew and hurtled toward us as if someone had deliberately thrown them at us. Luckily, I and Leo managed to avoid it.
"What happened?" I asked, panicked.
"Harry's ghost must be attacking us. He wants to finish us off," Leo replied, no less panicked. Objects such as beds, chairs, tables, and even knives flew back at us.
"Sean, we can't keep dodging him like this. We have to stop it!!" shouted Leo in the middle of our efforts to avoid the objects coming towards us.
"We have to burn the body. I remember seeing my father-in-law do it when he faced a ghost who could no longer be calmed because it was too filled with darkness. Let's follow his path!!" he shouted again, which made me think hard about how we could burn it. We didn't even have gasoline or anything that could create a fire.
"But how can we burn it?" I asked, finally opening my voice.
"Go to my car. There is gas there. On the dashboard, there is also a lighter. We can use that to burn it!!" I also understood what it meant, but I had quite a hard time getting out because those things kept attacking us. Even though I always manage to avoid it, I am still determining how long I will last like this.
"Whoa!" shouted Leo, who instantly made me gasp. Leo held his shoulder, and I saw a knife stuck there.
"Mr. Leo, are you all right?"
"Do not think about me. Hurry up and go, Sean." Finally, I broke through, running towards the exit. I ran as fast as I could, ignoring the continuously hurtling objects toward me. I even felt something hard hit my back, causing me to fall. The thing that struck me was a chair. I felt pain all over my body, but I ignored it and kept trying to get up. It hurts my back, but I force myself to run until my determination gets me through the door.
I sped towards Leo's car, which fortunately was parked not too far away, and Leo didn't even lock his car. Immediately, I took gas from the back of the car and turned to look for a lighter on the dashboard. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the more delicate, maybe because I was too frantic looking for it. I forcefully removed all the contents in the dashboard until my eyes finally caught an object that I believed was lighter.
I hastily returned to the secret room. The objects were no longer flying, but I widened my eyes when I saw Leo's body lying on the floor with several wounds on his body that were bleeding. Could Leo be dead? I shook my head. I was sure there was no way Leo would die that easily. Then I remembered my goal, and I rushed to Harry's body. I poured gasoline all over his body and tried to light the lighter. However, the fire did not come out of this more lightweight, making me even more frustrated.
"Damn it! Let's light up!!" I shouted. When I focused on starting a fire, without realizing it, a knife slid and hit my back. The pain, I don't know, I can't describe it in words. I finally collapsed, and my body was on the floor now. However, I'm not someone who will give up that easily. I'm still trying to light the lighter. Although my hands shook incessantly, I kept trying to land the more delicate. Until the Creator seems merciful to me because, finally, the fire is lit. I threw the lighter toward Harry's body, which immediately caught fire.
I don't know if this is just my hallucination or a reality. I heard a man's scream of pain as the fire grew more prominent and burned the body. Could it be Harry's ghost screaming? I don't know, I don't care anymore. I felt fragile and sore, and pain all over my body. The fire that burned Harry's body continued to burn, but my vision became increasingly blurry until everything finally looked pitch black. I also lost consciousness altogether.
