Shane Part 3
"Why Leslie?" For the second time, Sean asked that I finally just shook my head. I decided to follow wherever Sean was taking me for now. I'll talk to Sean about the ghost when I think the time is right.
Sean and I were still walking, holding hands, around the second floor of this house. Then Sean stopped in front of a door and opened it without hesitation. The smell of Sean's perfume wafting as soon as the door was opened made me realize what room I was entering. Plus, the view in this room, filled with several posters of basketball players stuck on the wall and several basketballs lying on the floor, makes me even more sure that this room is Sean's room. Why did Sean take me to his room? The question immediately crossed my mind.
"T-this is your room, right?"
"Hmm, that's it," he answered, short and flat.
"Why bring me here?"
"So what? Are you scared?" He turned to ask me, which made me freeze right then and there. Of course, I was scared when we were alone in the room. I felt more nervous and panicked. Precisely, what was Sean thinking? I hope he's not planning something evil on me.
"No need to be afraid, I won't do anything weird to you, I thought you were curious to see my room, so I brought you here," he said, which at that moment also made me get rid of the various negative thoughts that had crossed earlier.
He let go of my hand and walked towards his bed. At the same time, I was still busy looking around the room. Here is a king-size bed with a bed sheet with a motif related to basketball. There is a TV complete with various players such as DVD and PlayStation and tools used to play games. Remember, a study table full of books is neatly lined up there. This room is also complete with a bathroom. Yes, the room is quite spacious compared to mine.
"Leslie, how long have you been standing there? Come here!" he said that I had to comply. I walked over to him, who was sitting casually on his bed. Maybe because I was too focused on staring at him, who was now quite close, I didn't realize the basketball was right before me. My foot tripped over the ball, which unfortunately made me accidentally fall on top of Sean's body.
"Aah!" I shouted. My eyes widened when I realized my position was beside Sean's body. Moreover, our faces are so close at this time. My heart beat irregularly at that second. I meant to get up, but my movement stopped when Sean's hands suddenly lifted me and reversed our positions, so I was right under Sean.
"You want to tease me, Leslie?" he asked, grinning sinisterly at me.
"N-No. I accidentally stepped on your basketball earlier. Why would you drop your basketball on the floor anyway? Get off me quickly!!" I snapped at him. I'm very nervous at this time.
"Won't. I have to punish you for bumping into me just now. You think it doesn't hurt, hmm??" Sean brought his face closer to mine, making me stutter momentarily. His face got closer and closer until I could feel his soft breath on my skin.
My heart was beating irregularly; this was not my first experience kissing Sean, but I really couldn't help but get nervous when I saw Sean's face getting closer. Suddenly, my eyes closed themselves.
"Ah!!" he screamed, which made me gasp and open my eyes. Sean stepped away from me and was seen holding his head with a grimace. I got up from my lying position and stood beside him.
"Why Sean? You are sick?" I asked, panicked.
"N-no. Only my head hurts a little, and is dizzy. Lately, my head has often hurts, and dizzy maybe due to fatigue and lack of sleep because of staying up late doing my assignments. Last night I didn't sleep well." He said, indeed. I feel Sean's face a little pale. I hold his forehead, trying to check his body temperature. I'm relieved because his body temperature is average. Maybe he was just tired, like he said.
"Well, that's that then. You go to sleep, Sean. You must be sleepy, right?"
"Shouldn't I take you home first? I'm afraid you'll get bored here," he said. I feel fortunate to have such a caring boyfriend. He still cares more about me than himself.
"It doesn't matter. I still wanna be here. Just sleep, okay?"
"Okay. I'm sorry, Leslie. Wake me up if you want to go home." I nodded my head to answer.
Sean climbed onto his bed and lay down on it.
"Leslie, sit here," he said, patting his bed and asking me to sit near him. I did, too. But before my ass landed on the bed, I felt something vital pull me so I could not fight back. I fell, lying beside Sean. Sean hugged me possessively. I struggled to ask for release, but he tightened his grip even more.
"Sssttt... shut up. Leave it like this, just for a moment," he said, immediately making me silent. My heart beats fast again. I'm annoyed that my heart always ends like this whenever I'm near Sean. Even though I was very nervous, I can't deny that I was very comfortable in his arms. Ultimately, I just gave up, my head pressed against Sean's chest, and his scent wafted into my senses. I like the perfume very much.
Sean's breathing was even, and I felt his breath on my head. His soft snoring could be heard, indicating he was fast asleep by now.
This situation lasted long enough. I was only able to remain silent. I didn't move, worried that I would wake Sean, who was sleeping soundly. It seemed that it was confirmed that he was exhausted. Amidst this silence, the memory of the ghost came flooding back. I'm still curious about the ghost in Sean's mother's room. I'm worried that the ghost is an evil spirit that could hurt Sean's family. That thought made me determined to investigate the ghost.
Slowly, I moved Sean's hands, which were still wrapped around my body. I woke up very slowly. Luckily, Sean didn't wake me up because of my movement. I also steadily stepped my foot out of Sean's room.
It was hushed at Sean's house. It seemed that neither his mother nor Sunny had come home. I continued my footsteps and stopped when I arrived in front of Sean's mother's room. I still clearly feel the signs of the ghost, making me finally work up the courage to open the door. The room wasn't locked. I hesitated to enter, but my worries made me do crazy things by entering Sean's mother's room without her permission.
The room looked dark but still allowed me to see the ghostly figure. He was a male ghost, now staring at the curtained window. With my heart beating fast and my body shaking, I walked toward the spirit.
"W-who are you? W-why is your spirit wandering in this house?" I asked in my trembling voice. The ghost finally turned towards me. I almost screamed when I saw that the ghost had no eyes. Yes, his eyes looked perforated and only visible black holes. His skin was ashen, and blood was flowing from his forehead. My body trembled even more when the ghost stretched its hands to me. I thought he would strangle me, but my guess was wrong. The spirit put his hand on my head, and in that second, my vision was spinning. Could it be that the ghost will show me its world of memories?
