Sarah Part 5
About an hour ago, I called Angie and told Leslie everything that happened. Angie was amazed, and she promised to come to this inn soon. I feel awkward disturbing Angie at this hour. Even though the time was just past 4 in the morning, it was obvious that it was still time for everyone to sleep. I've been bothering Angie, but I have no other thoughts other than asking her for help.
This inn is quite far from Angie's house, so I'll have to wait a few more hours for her to arrive. I shifted my blank gaze, and now I focused on Leslie's body, which was still lying on the bed with her hands and feet tied. She looked calm, and her eyes were still closed. I could tell she was asleep. Based on the words of Mr. Thomas and Mr. Jerry, it won't be long before the ghost that has possessed Leslie's body will rebel again. Even though Sinta told me to rest in one of the inn's staff rooms, I refused. There was no way I would leave Leslie alone. That's why I dared to be in the same room with Leslie. She stared at her helpless body, still possessed by that accursed ghost.
If asked how I'm doing right now, I'm exhausted. I have yet to sleep enough after yesterday's long trip with Leslie. The wound on my face from Leslie's claws now felt even sorer and began to throb. I got up from my sitting position and walked to the wardrobe, where there was a reasonably large mirror there. I looked at my face, which was full of scars. No wonder it felt very sore. The wounds on my face were quite large and deep. Dried blood still perched there. I did not have time to clean it.
I decided to clean it because I stepped into the bathroom. In the bathroom, I gently cleaned the wound on my face with water. Please don't ask how it feels. This pain and pain is so unbearable that it makes me want to scream. But of course, I can't do that. I don't want to wake Leslie because of my scream. Maybe not Leslie. More precisely, I don't want to wake up either the ghost of anyone who is now inside Leslie's body.
After finishing my activities in the bathroom, I returned to sit on the chair I was sitting on. I looked back at Leslie's face. She looked paler than before. Seeing her current state makes me even more worried for her. In waiting for Angie's arrival, this is all I do, looking sadly at a girl who occupies the most crucial position in my heart.
Three hours, to be exact, my wait is finally over. Angie and Leo came to our room. Of course, Sinta, the receptionist at this inn, escorted them to this room. Angie looked surprised to see the condition of Leslie, who was lying with her hands and feet bound.
"Sean, how could this happen to Leslie?" asked Angie with her eyes filled with tears.
"I don't know either. I know that she suddenly behaved strangely since entering this room. Then, she did things that weren't normal. Some of the officers at this inn helped me deal with Leslie, and they said Leslie was possessed," I answered at length, trying to explain what had happened to us.
"Why did you and Leslie come here and stay at this place? I know you love each other, and you guys have been dating for a while. But you still can't do it. Remember, you are not married yet." This time, it was Leo who spoke. I can catch the meaning of his words. As I thought he misunderstood me and Leslie, could it be that Angie also has the same thoughts as her husband? I gritted my teeth. Of course, I was very annoyed to hear their evil thoughts about us.
"D-don't talk carelessly you, Mr. Leo. Stop thinking negatively about us. We came to this area to help one of the ghosts that Leslie met on our campus. The ghost family lives in this area. As you can see, this area is quite far away therefore we decided to rest and stay at this inn."
"Yes, but that doesn't mean you have to sleep in one room," Leo muttered, audible in my ear. It makes my anger turn into anger.
"I told you to stop thinking negatively about us. We also had to rent this room. Only this room is left empty in this inn. In addition, this area is quite quiet and remote. There is no other inn besides this inn around here!" I replied with a bit of yelling regardless, even though Leo is someone I respect a lot. After all, he was my mentor on the basketball team at Grandes High School. He is a teacher and a friend to me, but his words always make me forget his position.
"You two can still fight under these circumstances? Instead of doing useless things, you guys should help me untie Leslie." Now, it was Angie who spoke up. I had thought of untying Leslie for a long time, but remembering Leslie's brutal actions, I felt reluctant to do so.
"B-but the ghost will rebel again if we untie it. Besides, I haven't told you yet, if she had time to escape, I was lucky I found her. She also attacked the people around her. The ghost is capable of unleashing tremendous power, blowing two men away at the same time with a gust of wind. She even injured my face."
"Hmm, that's right. That handsome face you were always so proud of looks pitiful now." Once again, Leo said something that made my fist itch to punch him. His words sounded like mockery. Shouldn't he feel sympathy for me?
"We have to get the ghost out of Leslie's body immediately. Quickly help me untie the ropes." Finally, Leo and I complied with Angie's request. We let go of all the ropes that bound Leslie's body together.
"Sit Leslie in that chair!" Angie ordered, pointing to a chair near the table. Leo looked at me with a gesture for me to immediately comply with Angie's request.
"What are you waiting for, Sean? You don't want your girl to be carried by another man, do you?" It sucks. That's the word that best describes my point of view on Leo. Maybe Leslie and Angie never knew that this was how my relationship with Leo was because Leo never showed his annoying nature in front of those two women. He was always calm and sweet in front of the two women. It was so much different when he was facing me. Almost every day, he issued dirty words inviting my anger to appear. Yes, even so, I can't deny that I have a very close relationship with him, much like the friendly relationship between Leslie and Angie.
"Just so you know, Leslie's body is very heavy now. So, I need your help."
"Sigh, reporting," Leo said flatly.
"Come on, Leo. Don't tease Sean all the time. Don't you understand that Leslie's situation is very worrying? We have to get the ghost out of her body immediately!"
"All right, all right. Do not be angry, dear."
Knowing how you feel when your wife scolds you is a proper lesson for you. That's how it was muttering in my mind.
Without wasting any more time, Leo and I carried Leslie's body and sat her in a chair.
"Tie her up with a blanket!" Angie returned to give her orders, and I immediately obeyed. Immediately, I circled the white blanket to wrap around Leslie's body. Then, I tightly tied the blanket to the chair.
"Leo, lock the door!" Leo silently walked towards the door.
Leo's voice was heard who had just locked the room door.
Angie was still standing, looking at Leslie seriously. I don't know what will she do. I kept hoping she would get the ghost out of Leslie's body.
