51- Open Threat
~ Eileen ~
'And I still don't know why he hates you though your ridiculous ideas have brought me enough troubles."
Sebastian was acting weird. Okay, Ruben warned me beforehand but I didn't expect Sebastian to be this sour towards Asad. Basically he did nothing wrong so why?
"What's with him?" Muttering, I came out of our room when Sebastian left for the bathroom to freshen up.
"What happened?" Asad asked, coming to me with an arched brow because Sebastian acted weird when he saw me talking to him.
"Don't talk to me." I sighed, leaning against the wall, folding my arm with a cold shrug.
"What did I do?" He asked, tilting his head in confusion acting oblivious but he knew it better than me.
"I don't know. Order from His Majesty. Stay away from Asad." I told him impassively, the reason why my socializing with him was minimized.
He smirked victoriously because it was his idea to talk near the main entrance so Sebastian could see us and I observed his reaction and he acted just how he told me.
"I told you, didn't I? He would never bear you with me." He said triumphantly but I was only perplexed. I couldn't understand why.
"Why?" I asked.
"Jealousy." He sighed, almost out of disappointment but it increased my perplexity.
"Why would he be jealous of you?" I asked, taunting him because as per my knowledge, Sebastian had no reason to envy him.
"You sounded arrogant about your husband." He chuckled, shaking his head and his nonchalance was getting on my nerves. He just laughs and smiles whenever I speak.
"I am just saying. Sebastian has everything, what could make him jealous of you." I argued, wanting to know what his mere possession was, what my Sebastian didn't to be envious of him.
He laughed a little, leaning against the wall by his shoulder, smirking playfully at me, pissing me off at his confidence.
"You might have known him better than all of us, My Lady but there are still some details you cannot encrypt." He told me firmly, leaving me bewildered, unable to apprehend what could be about Sebastian which ‘I' didn't know.
"Such as?" I asked, smirking emptily in return, holding my head high to have faith that I know my Sebastian better than anyone.
"Such as your man is glaring at me right now." He smiled, pointing behind me. My breath hitched instinctively when I turned and saw Sebastian in his casual clothes.
A towel around his neck, water dripping from his hairs, enhancing his features, frowning deeply at me for disobeying his strict order but Asad initiated the talk.
"Sebastian?" I called nervously, hoping he wouldn't be angry, which he clearly was. I could feel his anger by his glare, drying my breaths.
"Pack my things, Eileen. I need to leave in a few hours."
Thankfully Sebastian didn't display his rage and simply ordered me. I didn't want to enhance his rage so I obeyed quietly.
"Okay…" I nodded, straightening my back and leaving quickly for the room to leave the talk in the middle but he held my arm when I walked past him.
"In fact, why don't you stay at your parents' place and make them understand in your language too?" He said, not removing his glare from Asad whose smirk was slowly fading and was replaced by a seriousness I had never seen on Asad's face before.
"Okay, I guess…" Trailing off, I didn't argue, I truly needed to make my parents understand. I am getting a hang of how to handle Sebastian now.
"Yeah, from that, why don't you stay. Let My Lady do the packing, I need to have a few words with you, Sebastian." Asad called, snapping his finger to get Sebastian's assertive attention.
Forming my lips in the thin line, I rushed inside the room but left the door open so I could peek and know what Sebastian did to make Asad this strenuous.
"What do you want?" Sebastian scoffed, leaning against the opposite wall, a grimace etched on his stoic features.
Asad's amusement vanished, speaking dominantly, "You know it I don't meddle with the people I am not interested about, Sebastian. And it had come to my acknowledgement that you had severed a sensitive spot of mine."
My heart skipped a beat, wondering what Sebastian did to piss him off. His direness gave the omen of danger, I could feel the fatality of it.
"What are you talking about, Asad? I don't recall involving myself in any activity related to you." But, Sebastian was confused, he had no idea what he was talking about.
"You did, trust me, you did." Asad chuckled dryly, straightening his back, resting his hand in his pockets, he took a step towards Sebastian.
"What-" Sebastian opened his mouth to ask what he meant but Asad cut him off.
"You shouldn't have shot Sofia Elbaz."
Sofia…? How did Asad know her? Why did Sofia never tell me she knew someone as dangerous as Asad?
He is the Brother of the fourth most dangerous mafia leader Zaviyaar for God's sake!
How come Sofia knows him? And he called her a sensitive spot? What the fuck?
"Why? Who is she to you?" Sebastian asked when popped into my mind instantly. Sebastian was just as flabbergasted as mine to wonder why she is involved in all this mess.
"Leave it, she is a very personal matter, Okay?" Asad threatened Sebastian, I couldn't believe how dire he was when it came to her.
Oh my God, what am I hearing? Leave my friend out of this mess!
Asad stared dead into Sebastian's eyes, utterly serious, warning Sebastian openly, "So don't do anything which could hurt her again or else you won't even know and your beloved would vanish before your very eyes."
And that- That's Sebastian's biggest fright. Asad stealing me away from him which was the impossible outcome from my side.
"You do realize you are threatening me in my own place, right?" Sebastian chuckled emptily, discarding Asad's warning, laughing at his damn audacity to threaten my man.
"What can I do? You went personal." Asad shrugged coldly, exhaling hopelessly, turning his head away.
"Who is she to you?" Sebastian asked again sternly but he was not in the mood to continue this conversation further.
"Leave it. Be careful next time." Asad mumbled, turning to leave but then his darkness and those detestable mischief came back on his features, glancing from his shoulder at Sebastian, threatening him openly.
"You never know who you might lose in your disappearance."
And this very sentence burned Sebastian. I could feel the wrath emitting from him, dying to kill him for daring to speak this but he barely controlled himself.
That was the first time when I noticed the fear of losing me in his eyes, he had absolutely lost it.
Asad walked away and I ran to the closet instantly to pretend I was taking out his clothes. I took out his white shirt, immobilized when I sensed his furiousness from walking towards me.
"Sebastian?" I called softly, hoping this could lessen his rage a little but to no avail.
"Pack your things as well. I will drop you at your parents place. Stay there until I am back." He ordered, jaw clenched, holding his sides, pacing around the room.
"But, Sebastian-" I tried calling him but he put his hand in the air to stop me, "I don't want to hear anything. Pack your things." His voice demanded obedience and I needed to talk to Sofia also so I agreed as well.
"Okay…" And amid all this one thing looped in my mind constantly.
Why?
Sebastian fears nothing so what Asad did to induce this tension and fright?
