73- Fairy
Keeping Nathaniel's competition, I became the Ace at twenty five too but it didn't change a thing- it was only a title, the work was the same.
I had everything except voices.
Years passed, I lost myself, I closed myself entirely in a box over time. All I needed was blood, screams for solace. I wanted no drugs, no woman, no relationship, nothing but torture.
I thought I would remain like this forever- I was wrong.
When I turned thirty I met a fairy one day who was going to open the chest I locked and buried.
I was building another branch office for our surface work and whose company took the contract to build it? Of course, her's.
"Hmm, how long will it be finished?" I asked Dave, surveying the construction site which was being built pretty fast.
"In three months, Boss." He informed me.
`"Good-" I hummed, scanning the place but during the watch, I felt a dare devil tried to pickpocket me. Smirking, I grabbed the arm of whoever did this and twisted it back.
The thief turned out to be a ten year old kid but since I ripped my emotions, I threw him on the ground, holding his arms, "Watch your actions, Kid."
Warning amusing, I leaned closer to his ears, "It's dangerous to come near a monster."
Ah, the terror he showed was aesthetically pleasing.
'No, Sir, please, I am so sorry-"
He was horrified, tears brimming in his eyes, shaking his head in denial and I smirked, it was melodious to hear his misery.
But, that fairy decided to break my beautiful rhythm.
"What are you doing to that kid, Sir? Leave him!"
I frowned when someone dared to stop me from doing whatever the fuck I want. Displeased at the call, I let him go and got up.
Rushing closer, the hazel eyed woman hugged the kid which wiped my discontent for a brief second.
I thought I burned those memories yet how I hugged like that flashed before my eyes which stilled me.
"Kid, why did you do that?" She asked the frightened kid, hugging him, helping him to calm down.
"I am so sorry, but I need money for my sister." He sobbed, hiding his face, fearing me.
"Don't worry, it's going to be alright. Sofia, can you take him? I will be there in a second."
She flashed a smile. She was a liar like my mother. She said the same- nothing became alright.
The girl Sofia came and took the kid and she finally turned her attention to me, bowing a little out of respect.
"I am so sorry for what happened, Sir…" She apologized sincerely, waiting to take my name.
Clearing my throat, I rolled my eyes off, "Sebastian. Sebastian Stellios."
Gasping, she took a step back. A clearly dramatic reaction which made me raise my eyebrow.
"Oh my God, you are Sebastian Stellios? I am so sorry I have no idea! I am Eileen Lior." She bowed again, apologizing loudly, more deeply. She was clearly disquiet.
But, I got that fairy's name.
"Mr Lior's daughter?" I asked, now noticing she did resemble her Father.
"Yes. I just came for a survey. I should be leaving. Have a nice day." Chuckling nervously, she nodded and ran away from me which at least confirmed the fact.
That from a ten years old thief to my contractor's daughter- everything was afraid by my nothing.
Sighing, I shook my head. Discarding what happened but as I was continuing my survey, I saw her again, consoling the kid, helping him actually.
As a firm believer of ‘All hopes are fake', this pricked me.
Rolling my eyes, I ignored her again and saw something that the architect was slightly off so I went to discuss it with her and fix it as soon as possible.
Already pissed by her, I went to her, considering it a chance to scold her, but the moment I reached her vicinity, I heard a chirpy, enthusiastic beaming resonance.
"Oh my God, mate. He is Papa's client. He is so handsome! I didn't think he would be this young and swoon worthy. God, his body was so muscular. What a desirable man!"
For someone who was never complimented in such an explicit manner, my steps halted.
She definitely got the wrong impression of me. Not everything you see is beautiful. Tempting appearance was always a disguise for a devil.
Furrowing my brows, I glanced at Dave who only smirked, turning his head away but I looked down at my bloody hands.
There was nothing to praise about me.
'Search him up, find his profile on social media." She called again.
Looking up at her, I didn't want her to be further mesmerized by a deceptive image. So I cleared my throat loud enough to gain her attention.
She almost screamed, slamming her hand down with her back facing me and it made me smirk impishly. Resting my hand in my pockets, I took a step closer, noticing how long and smooth her hair was.
"Is he behind me?" She whispered to her friend.
"Yes, I am Miss Lior." I deliberately spoke dominantly, making her gasp again. I scared her immensely as I waited for her to turn and look into my eyes.
‘Am I desirable now, huh, woman?'
"I came to discuss something but since you are not showing me your face, I would rather talk to your Father." I said again assertively.
My smirk grew teasing but she couldn't see so I took advantage. I love toying with my prey anyways.
"I am so sorry, Sir! Please don't complain to Papa." She apologized again, waving her hand in the air again. Her hands were trembling.
When I noticed her fear- the usual dark thought invoked-
‘How pleasurable would it be to witness more of this fear?'
"I was not going to. I had some work. But, thank you for telling me I am swoon worthy." Smirking, I taunted, indulging in her reaction. Curling her hands, she looked down yet didn't dare to turn and look at me.
Taking a step closer, I turned half-way. An unknown smirk reached my lips as I informed her. My last way to make her turn.
"Also, My profile is private but I will wait for your request."
At my words, she finally dared to glance from her shoulder and looked at me. And that one stare pierced right through my heart.
Nothing attracted me more than one's innocence.
I wonder how harmonizing her screams would be.
That's it, I would show her I was not what she admired. Drowning those innocent eyes along with my fathomless abyss would be worth it.
I decided to make her my prey.
Flashing my notorious smirk of a devil, I wore my glasses. She continued to stare at me timidly as I walked away.
Taken aback at my unforeseen gesture, Dave called, "Sir..?"
"Get all the information about her. This woman had piqued my interest. I think I have found my next prey."
Among everyone, I was someone who never chose my victims logically. After doctor Lauren, I had no personal hatred towards any of my victims. I killed for fun.
I was going to do the same for that fairy too. I was ready to taint my hands with her blood.
"Yes, Boss." Dave also didn't think much about it and agreed knowing an innocent was going to die by my hands.
But, after getting her information, I came to know that she had never been in an intimate bond before. I was a virgin too and it poked me.
What a waste would it be to kill her without having fun? Not, I am desperate for a woman or to get laid but for once, how would it feel?
I was not in a rush to kill either.
If she would be with me, in my grasp, I could do whatever I want. Torture her, make her screams before stealing her breaths. How beautiful her misery would be.
‘That's' what sounded tempting.
So, getting on with my intentions, I first bought her Father's company. From someone who used cotton and textile to hide the dark layer to buy a construction agency was weird but what I wanted- shall be in my palm.
Finally after incredible efforts, I saw her at the party again. Looking exquisite in her gown, compelling my heart by her presence.
When my eyes laid upon hers, I began to desire her. Thoughts I collected began to burn my chest and control became hard but patience. I need patience.
"Eileen, meet he is Sebastian Stellios." Mr Lior introduced me elatedly.
"Who doesn't know him, Father? It is a pleasure to meet you, Sir." She smiled faintly, trying to not meet my gaze. Taking a sip of my drink, I offer my hand.
She hesitantly took it, stealing a glance which brought a dark smirk which I tried to suppress and failed, kissing the back of her palm. Her skin was so soft.
"Pleasure is all mine, Miss Lior." I said seductively, leaving her hand unwillingly.
During the whole party, I noticed her trying to avoid me, glancing from afar but when I noticed them, she looked down. Timid, unsure, innocent.
She had all the traits I would search for in my prey.
