65.2- Promise Of A Lifetime
'Sebastian, put me down. Everyone is looking." I whispered, tapping his chest, unable to meet his gaze from the timidness and rapid heart rate.
His features dropped dead serious, causing him to stop in the middle of the stair, staring deeply into my eyes, 'Look, Eileen."
Swallowing, I became vexed that I might not have said something wrong.
'The last time I was this happy was on my fourteenth birthday when we went to Disneyland, Hong Kong. Do not steal any second of this, I barely had times where I had known true felicity." He whispered in a low, sorrowfully resonance, making my heart clenched.
And placing all my happiness in his account, I smiled, cupping his cheek, ignoring the stagger we received, resting my head on his chest.
'Okay…"
Resting near his heart, I let him take me as we went to our room. Changed our clothes, soaked our bodies.
After changing, I was standing in the middle of the room, watching Sebastian leaning against the wall with his arms closed accompanied by an aesthetic smile.
I looked at him for a few seconds and began to laugh loudly, holding my sides, 'Oh my God, I cannot believe it. Is it truly you or someone who did black magic on you?" I asked between my laughs.
'Definitely you did black magic on me." He smirked, shrugging his shoulders.
'I kept it as the last option available." I giggled, still trying to contemplate what happened, what took over him to the point he lost everything.
But then again, all of it had passed, what could pull me back too?
What can stop me now from holding his hand?
'You truly have cast a spell on me." He chuckled, coming closer, taking my hand and made me sit on the bed. With the never ending grin, I kept looking sweetly at him.
I was sitting on the bed and he bent on the ground before me, eyes locked to stare directly into my soul. The ways his beautiful silver gems bore into mine, my heart began to thump unbearably, sending butterflies to my stomach.
'What?" Asking faintly, I lost control before the profound gaze, trying to suppress my smile but the intensity was stealing my ability to think.
‘He' cast a spell on ‘me'.
'Why are you looking at me like that?" Asking again, I forced my gaze to connect with his, clutching the sheets between my fingers firmly, nibbling my bottom lip.
'You're so exquisite, you know."
Murmuring, he took my hands in his, curling his lips upwards in an eye-catching smile.
'I just want to stare into your eyes for eternity now." He whispered, kissing the back of my palm without removing his gaze, intoxicating me.
'Don't look at me like this." I whispered back, pulling my one hand back, barely controlling my smile but he had no intention of stopping.
He didn't want to stop. Not anymore.
'You know it, I am bad at expressing my feelings but if I could show you the intensity of exhilaration in my heart, you won't be able to bear it."
My breaths stuck when he pressed my other hand over his heart, continuing the gleaming smile, reflecting all the adoration of his soul.
'When did this all happen? When you fell for me this badly?" My voice went lower, holding his neck, not believing he was the same man.
The man this world feared. The one without a heart for this world.
'Don't ask me a question whose answer I don't know myself. I just fell, Eileen, and I felt hardly, desperately, hopelessly."
Breathless, he abandoned all the denial, accepting all his feelings openly, giving me ecstasy whenever he spoke of his emotions openly.
Kissing my knuckles, his eyes connected with all his sincerity, giving me all the happiness I could ever fathom.
'Today, I abandon my world for your sake."
Powerless to bear more, I rested my forehead against his. I couldn't hold the grin anymore followed by a tear picking in the corner of my eyes.
'Please don't intoxicate me. You should know I get manipulated in your talks." Chuckling, I kissed his forehead, pushing the hair covering his forehead behind.
His smile converted into a sorrowful one, giving my hands a tight squeeze, holding them as his last support.
'But there is one thing, Eileen." His faint resonance came, giving my hand a tight squeeze, narrowing his eyes in anguish.
'What is it?" I asked hastily, willing to do anything for his sake.
Removing his hands slowly, he lowered his gaze. A strange hesitation flickered along with a hint of worry I was unable to encrypt.
'This darkness is not fading, whenever I hold my hand it cannot reach you. That place is not fading. I don't want that abyss anymore, I want you."
His hurried, dejected voice came, looking down sadly, biting the inside of his cheek. He held his hand out to me, not lifting his head.
But, the place he once considered his home was no longer homely anymore. He wanted me to become his shelter.
Smiling, I took his hand and pulled him towards me, causing him to fall into my embrace with his head on my lap.
'There you go, I took your hand and took you into my shelter." Whispering in his ears, my fingers trailed down his hair, kissing his cheek before allowing him to rest on my lap.
His eyes widened for a second before closing them to submerge into my warmth and it felt delightful to find him deserting his world for my sake.
'Don't leave me again. Don't let go of me."
Voice broke when he shut his eyes, holding me rigidly, refusing to look into the world which dragged him to this point.
And I couldn't believe he chose my hand to drag him out from that horrendous world, to take him away and I took it happily.
'Don't worry, I won't. I would never. I am here now, I will take you out from this darkness. I won't let it hurt you anymore." Humming, I kissed the top of his head, stroking his hairs, providing a lull to his darkness, gathering him in my arms.
'Promise?" Asking desperately, his hand gripped mine firmly, refusing to open his eyes, afraid it might not be a dream.
Smiling at his sweet request, I kissed his hand, willing to fulfill this promise even if it cost me a lifetime, 'Promise."
