Chapter 23—Game Over!

Itzel had barely eaten three spoonfuls of the meal kept in front of her when she started to cough repeatedly. Maya stood up to her feet immediately and rushed to Itzel's side, she helped Itzel drink some water but that didn't stop the cough. Her breath was becoming more rapid. Henderson rubbed Itzel's back trying to calm her down, but nothing changed rather it just seemed to escalate the whole thing, she coughed even more. "It's Lena, " Maya blurted. Henderson's eyes narrowed as he glared at Maya wondering what her statement meant. "What do you mean Maya?" Alia asked with raised brows as she sauntered to Itzel's side. "Lena did this, I saw her add something to Itzel's food, " Maya muttered. "You are crazy, Maya. How dare you try to accuse Lena? How can you even?" Henderson had barely finished his statement when Alia interrupted. "Don't tell me you are trying to support Lena now? Can't you see the condition your daughter is in?" Alia fumed. Alia sent one of the workers to call Lena, and in no time Lena rushed to the leaving room when she was told about Itzel's current condition. "Oh my goodness, Itzel." Lena panicked dashing to Itzel's side, because of how hurriedly she ran, she pushed Maya without knowing it. Maya almost pushed Lena back but she kept her cool, she wanted to act out her drama really well. "What's wrong?" Lena asked worriedly glancing at Henderson who was trying to call the family doctor. "Stop acting like you care you conniving and pretending bitch!" Maya snarled wrenching Lena's arm and dragging her from Itzel's side. Lena wriggled out of Maya's grip shock crossed her face. Her eyes narrowed in confusion as she stared at Maya, "what are you talking about?" "You are still pretending not to, " the rest of Maya's words were stuck in her mouth and she started to choke. She was coughing profusely, she started to groan. Lena ran to Maya's side confused as she tried to figure out a way to help. Henderson's attention was now away from his phone and focused on the scene happening in front of him. At that moment Itzel stopped coughing and burst out laughing making everyone turn their attention to her. Lena scooted from Maya's side to Alia who started to caress her body, she pressed her thighs together, she was feeling uncontrollable arousal. It felt as though her body was on fire, every part of her ached with desire. Lena tried to touch Alia but she pushed her away. "Itzel you are fine, " Lena sighed in relief she scampered to her and pulled her in a warm embrace. "Alia, what's wrong with you?" Henderson's asked seeing his elder sister's uncanny behaviour. "Daddy, Maya and Aunt Alia planned to add something to your drink and something to my food too. In fact, they added it but I made sure to exchange the food and drinks when I saw them. I told Trent about it." Itzel mumbled. "What! That's a lie!" Maya and Alia tried to defend themselves amidst their pitiful predicament. Itzel let out a mocking laugh, "That was why I pretended to like you Maya just the way you've been pretending." "It's game over!" Itzel stuck out her tongue at Maya and Alia. "It's true Mommy, we took a video of them, " Trent said when he walked into the dining area. He handed over Lena's phone to her. Together Henderson and Lena watched a video where Alia and Maya were adding some powder from a sachet to food and drink confirming the children's claims. "What's the name again..." Itzel trailed snapping her fingers as she tried to recall the name of the content of the sachets. They had gotten a hold of the sachets earlier after Maya Alia disposed them in the trash can. "Allergen and Aphro.... Phro...." Lena and Henderson exchanged glances. "Aphrodisiac..." Lena's eyes widened. She turned to the kids, "Go upstairs, Itzel and Trent. I'll be there soon, " Lena told them. They nodded before they walked away. ....... .... Henderson was angered when Alia confessed what she and Maya had planned to do and the motives behind that. They added some allergens to Itzel's food and were going to pin the blame on Lena. The aphrodisiac was meant for Henderson so Maya would have sex with him and that way get pregnant and Henderson wasn't going to have a choice but to be with her. Henderson kicked both Maya and Alia out despite Lena's pleas to at least call a doctor to come over. He called the doctor he had contacted earlier that there was no need for him to call. Henderson severed ties with Alia and told her he wanted nothing to do with her anymore, and that she didn't have the right to come anywhere near him or his daughter. "Where are Aunt Maya and Aunt Alia?" Trent asked when he and Itzel came back downstairs. They had been upstairs waiting for Lena for so long but she didn't come so Itzel suggested they went downstairs to see what was going on. "They left, "Henderson shrugged. "Next time you hear something or see something like that say something to an adult just don't act on your own, " Henderson mumbled holding Itzel's gaze. Itzel's brows were furrowed in a slight frown, "Daddy, I didn't think you would scold me. I was only trying to.." Lena smiled and cupped Itzel's cheeks, "You were looking out for everyone I know. But you should have told me or your Daddy. You and Trent shouldn't take matters into your hands like that again. Exchanging the food was way extreme." "We are sorry, " Trent and Itzel apologised simultaneously after casting glances at each other. "But will they be fine? " Trent asked. His countenance was smudged with concern. "Don't worry about them. They deserve it, " Itzel muttered nonchalantly. "Of course they..." Henderson started but Lena chipped him cutting him off. "Come on, Itzel. Don't say that, " she smiled. "Fine, Aunt Lena, " Itzel sighed. "Good girl, " Lena beamed pinching Itzel's cheeks playfully and she smiled. "Aunt Lena, I was going to ask. What is aphro, .. phro I can't pronounce it! That thing that was making Aunt Alia act that way..." Itzel questioned as she turned to Lena whose eyes bulged out. She didn't know what answer to give to Itzel so she glanced at Henderson who had a small smile playing on his lips as he beheld Lena's expression. "Who wants to play a game?" Henderson raved standing in front of the kids. "Me!!" They bubbled jumping to their feet. Henderson winked at Lena and she smiled. She was glad he came to the rescue because there was no way she was going to tell Itzel what the use of Aphrodisiac was, she was too little to know that. "Aunt Lena, aren't you going to join us?" Itzel crossed her arms. "Mommy join us!" Trent cooed. Lena drifted out of her thoughts, Itzel, Trent and Henderson were all staring at her as they awaited her response. "Come on Lena, "Henderson's hand was stretched out to her, his enchanting smile enticing her, she couldn't but get lost in them.
