Chapter 50—Our Love Will Win!
"Ma'am, I told you to wait outside while I inform Mr Bain that you are here, " Chelsey muttered when Vivian barged into the office and the door closed with a thud.
"Shut the fuck up bitch!" Vivian snarled staring daggers at Chelsey.
Chelsey chewed on her lower lips, her fist was clenched as she tried to keep herself from reacting to Vivian's words which made her boil with anger. If it wasn't for Henderson's presence she would have probably slapped some sense into Vivian for daring to call her a bitch.
"Sorry about that, you can leave Chelsey," Henderson said.
Chelsey nodded with a small smile before she stepped out of the office.
"Vivian you don't get to come here uninvited and hurl insults at my employee. Who gave you that right!" Anger radiated off Henderson as he peered at Vivian.
"I think I need to give you guys some time to talk, " Brian mumbled lowly after he rose from his seat.
"You don't have to Brian, she's leaving right now," Henderson stated gesturing Brian to sit and he took his seat. Henderson's eyes moved to Vivian and they turned dark with rage, so much fury was bubbling deep in his stomach seeing her in front of him.
"Get out of my office before I call the security to..."
Vivian's mocking laughter filled the room. Brian and Henderson exchanged glances and marvelled at Vivian's action.
"We both know you can't do that to me Henderson. You seem to be so obsessed with me that you've transferred that aggression on my husband. Do you really think I'm going to come back to you? I'm never going to be yours no matter what you do. The only reason I came here was to tell you to stop the allegations against Axel. He got arrested and I know you had something to do with it."
Henderson stared at Vivian with a wan expression.
"Get the fuck out of here, Vivian. And so you know I'm never going to want you. I'm glad you are out of my life, you got the kind of man you deserve, so deal with it." Henderson barked his eyes emitted coldness and his hatred for Vivian was very much evident in them.
Vivian flinched, she was frightened but she quickly wore a sinister smile.
"You are going to regret this, Henderson." She seethed before walking over to the door. She paused and veered to face Henderson, she rolled her eyes at him before she swirled and reached for the door. She slammed the door the moment she was out of the office.
"That was what I came to tell you. Axel was arrested, in the news it said that he raped a girl to death and a case was filed against him." Brian muttered.
"What! You should have let me kill that man. He deserves to die. Aside from being a rapist, he is also a paedophile. I'll make sure he rots in jail and never gets to see the ray of sunshine for the rest of his miserable life. That is if he doesn't get a death sentence because that is what he deserves."
Back at the mansion
Henderson went with Lena for her first therapy session and it went really well. The therapist Mrs Sarah was one of the best in town, she specialised in cases that had to do with trauma, abuse and similar things. Lena felt better after speaking to Mrs. Mary whom she felt so comfortable with even though she just met her for the first time, She felt as though she had known her for the longest time. They returned to the mansion afterwards.
"I've told you, baby, it's not your fault. You are not to blame for Axel's action. It's a good thing he has been exposed and I promise you that you and that girl will get justice. We'll be filing a case against him tomorrow."
"What about Vivian?" Lena sat up peering at Henderson whose face darkened at the mention of her name.
"I'm sorry for mentioning her name but I've been thinking. Axel is her husband and..."
Henderson cupped Lena's cheeks with his palm, his blue eyes exuding love and care and they bored into her hazel ones.
"It doesn't matter. I don't care about her or Axel, I only care about you. One thing I know is that whoever dares to hurt you will have to deal with the consequences of their actions regardless of who they think that they are." Henderson purred.
"I love you, " Lena smiled. Tears of happiness brimmed in her eyes, and butterflies danced in her tummy as she leaned in for a kiss.
"I'll always love you, Lee."
"Aunt Cleo, what about Uncle Henry?" Itzel asked suddenly in the midst of the game they were playing. Trent Cleo and Itzel were fixing a puzzle, they were having a good time in the playroom.
"Well, I don't know how to explain this to you darling but me and Henry are no longer together."
"Are you getting a divorce? Like my mommy and daddy?" Sadness clouded Itzel's features.
"Yes. Sometimes life just happens, when you get older you'll understand." Cleo smiled. She felt tears welling up in her eyes as she talked about Henry but she didn't want to have a breakdown in front of the kids.
"Aunt Cleo, why do you people divorce?" Trent asked looking up at Cleo.
"A lot of reasons, sweetie. But let me not bother you guys with all of that. Like I said you kids might not be able to understand some of these things now until you get older." Cleo explained.
"Don't cry Aunt Cleo, it's going to be ok," Trent murmured wrapping his arms around Cleo when he saw a tear roll down her cheeks.
"Yeah, it is going to be ok. We love you." Itzel added joining in the hug.
"I can see you guys are having an emotional moment and we are left out. Care to share?" Henderson's voice filled the room when he and Lena walked in.
Cleo, Trent and Itzel turned to them.
"We know Aunt Cleo is going through a lot and she needed a hug." Trent smiled.
"I see, that's so sweet of you guys." Henderson praised.
"Daddy, can I ask you something?" Itzel spoke up.
"Yes, go on Zel. What is it?" Henderson mumbled.
"If you and Aunt Lena get married will you divorce?"
Lena and Henderson glanced at each other after the question.
"We'll be one big family, Zel. And our love will win." Henderson purred crouching in front of Trent and Itzel. He took their hands in his.
"We love you both so much and nothing else can change that," Lena added coming to squat in front of them and then pulling them in a hug.
