Chapter 103—The Long Awaited Moment!
Later That Evening...
Lena let out a sharp breath as she took in her reflection in the mirror. She was wearing a bright red coloured lingerie, she picked up the red wrap dress from the table beside the mirror and wore it. She had decorated the bedroom with flowers which she ordered and made dinner for Henderson, she made his favourite meal which was Tater Tot Casserole and a chocolate cake for dessert. All thanks to Itzel who once told her what Henderson's favourite food was. After Lena was done setting the table in the bedroom, she went into the bathroom and freshened up.
"Baby, Baby," Henderson called as he stepped into the living room but he got no response. He ambled into the room and headed to the bedroom, he figured Lena was going to be in there.
As he pushed the door open, his eyes widened at the jaw-dropping sight he beheld. The room was beautifully decorated with flowers.
"Babe."
Henderson still got no response, he sauntered to the table which had a note lying on it, and picked it up.
"Darling, I hope you like the decorations. Freshen up, I'll meet you afterwards. Love Lena." Henderson's lips curved up happily after he read the contents of the paper.
He wondered what Lena was up to and where she was at the moment, he was going to do just as she said, Freshen up and meet her afterwards.
"You look so stunning, now I feel I should get dressed up in a tuxedo so I can match up to you."
Henderson was clad in blue denim pants and a white t-shirt that fit perfectly on his well-sculptured body.
A smile grew on Lena's face and she chortled.
"Honey, now you are teasing me. You look handsome as always in a casual look. So please stick to it, I don't want no competition. If you are to wear a tuxedo, I guess my next option would be wearing my wedding dress."
"I don't mind, I will marry you over and over again." Henderson purred inching closer to her, his arms encircled her waist and he leaned forward locking his lips with her.
"Babe, in as much as your kisses are irresistible, we should eat so we can have strength. We need strength for later, right?" Lena winked after pulling away from the kiss.
A chuckle left Henderson's lips, Lena just reminded him of his words from earlier.
"Using my words, I see. You did an amazing job with the decorations, I should have been here sooner to help you with them."
"Thanks but it wasn't that much of a work. I wanted it to be a surprise, I want to make it up it you. So just get ready for a long night full of surprises." Lena grinned widely before pulling a chair out for Henderson to sit.
"Thank you," Henderson muttered taking his seat. Lena beamed and plopped on the chair opposite Henderson's.
"Babe, I don't see any juice here. What will you be drinking? I'll go get you some juice." Henderson made to get up but Lena shook her head gesturing him not to.
"I'm a wine lover tonight. It's part of the surprise." Lena bubbled rising to her feet. If he could forfeit his wine for juce then she could definitely have a taste of wine for tonight. She reached for the bottle of wine and tried to pop it open but didn't know how. Henderson noticed notice so he stretched his hand took the bottle from her and popped it open. He was about to pour some into a glass when Lena gently took it from him.
"You don't have to do anything now, you can save the strength for later. Just let me serve you."
Henderson raised his hands in surrender, "Your wish is my command, baby. Thank you for this special.."
Lena cut him off lovingly before he could finish his statement.
"Dear husband, it's nothing. You are special and the special man in my life deserves nothing else but special treatment."
"You don't have to be modest, you put a lot of work into these. I love you. Thank you for this."
"I love you, Henderson." Lena gleamed placing her hand over Henderson's palm caressing it before withdrawing her hand.
She poured some wine into Henderson's glass before pouring some for herself. Placing the wine bottle back on the table, she properly placed the meal she had made before taking her seat.
"We should eat. It might not be as good as yours but...."
"I see you want to give me a humble defeat," Henderson joked not letting Lena complete her statement.
"This tastes so good," Lena and Henderson said in unison and they burst out laughing. Henderson just had a taste of the meal Lena made, and she had taken a sip of the wine.
"Earlier, it was crazy of me to even suggest we have a cooking contest when we return to the mansion so I choose to walk away to avoid a humble defeat," Henderson mumbled bowing his head.
Lena laughed shaking her head," Right. Says the chef or chefs."
"And you are the trainer of the chef of chefs." Henderson praised.
Henderson and Lena were done with their meal. Lena just emptied the contents of her third glass of wine.
"I have to use the bathroom, I'll be right back." Lena excused herself before sauntering away.
When Lena returned to the room, Henderson wasn't in it. Seeing the table that was now empty, she concluded Henderson must have cleared it when she went through into the bathroom.
Smiling to herself, she figured it was the perfect timing for phase two of her surprise. Loosening the belt of her wrap dress, she took it off and turned off the lights before walking to the bed and sitting on it.
"Baby," Lena heard Henderson call out as the door to the room screeched open.
"Why did the lights go off. Baby where are you? Are you okay?"
His footsteps inched closer and soon the lights came on, Henderson's mouth fell open, and he froze in his spot as he beheld Lena.
She cleared her throat and stood up.
"I was going to clear the table, you didn't have to." Lena broke the ice first bringing an end to the utter silence that had crawled into the room.
"I'm glad you didn't, else you wouldn't have had the chance to do this," a mischievous gleam slid onto Henderson's face as he took steps closer to Lena.
Standing in front of her, his arms wrapped around her waist firmly and he swallowed, his blue eyes piercing into her hazel ones.
"You are beautiful, my beloved wife." His breath gently grazed her forehead a sensation that heightened the proximity between them.
"I love you, Lee." He purred tucking her hair behind her ears, his touch made her shiver in ecstasy.
His hand smoothed the length of her hair as he gazed at her. His eyes adored her, exuding love and care. He smiled, his fingers wandering down her cheeks and to her lips, and he leaned downwards, his lips against her cheeks brushing them lightly.
Shivers ran through her whole body making her tremble against him. He brushed his mouth against her temple and then traced her jawline. She couldn't wait anymore as her core ached for him, they had both awaited this moment. Lena reached up pulling his mouth to hers. He kissed her gently, she kissed him back running her fingers along his arms. Taking her in his arms, he placed her on the bed gently. She knotted her fist in his shirt pulling him closer and his arms circled around her as he leaned in, he kissed her nose, then he traced her cheeks with his fingertip. His lips moved to her neck, she let out a moan as he planted kisses on it. She did not want it to end, every one of her nerve endings jangled. Desire flew through each of their bodies as they helped undress each other, it was going to be a night of passion sealing their love and opening a new page of their love story.
