Chapter 76—Your Honey Is In Jail!
"Vivian, what are you doing here?" Lena questioned when she finally found her voice.
Vivian's face smudged with contempt as she peered at Lena.
"Who are you to ask me that?" She sneered giving Lena a dirty look.
Before Lena could say a word, Vivian had pushed her out of the way and entered the room. She sat on the couch and crossed her legs before hoisting her head to gaze at Lena.
Lena exhaled in disbelief, Vivian did have some guts!
"Why are you here, Vivian?" Lena's fervid glare roamed Vivian as she walked into the room.
"I want my husband and daughter back."
Lena laughed hysterically clapping her hands, Vivian's words amused her, she left Itzel and Henderson when they needed her the most for Axel and now she wanted them back. What did she think they were; some kind of cheap commodity?
"You mean my daughter and my soon-to-be husband?" Lena's brows rose as she peeked at Vivian whose face twisted with anger and she sprang up to her feet after hearing Lena's words.
"I see this little fantasy you are living has made you pompous. Well, I need to make things clear, I'm back to take my rightful place." Vivian stated staring down at Lena like she was some worthless piece of thrash.
"Right! Your rightful place is outside this mansion. You have no place here, so it's best if you just leave."
"I'm going nowhere, " Vivian scowled sitting back on the couch and putting one leg over the other. Her eyes crinkled with dislike and her lips curled up.
The door screeched open revealing Itzel and Trent.
"Mommy, " they giggled rushing to Lena and embracing her tightly.
"You guys are back. How was school? Where is Daddy?" Lena smiled patting their heads lovingly.
"School was fine, " Itzel answered.
"Daddy is outside he went to get something from the car," Trent told Lena.
"Ok, " Lena nodded.
"Who is this?" Itzel questioned with puckered brows gazing at Vivian who was now on her feet.
"Hi, Itzel. I'm your mommy."
Itzel erupted into laughter, " My mommy? You are not my Mommy, this is my Mommy." Itzel mumbled holding Lena's hand after her laughter died down.
"Baby, I'm your mother. I gave birth to you." Vivian's tone was tinged with a hint of frustration.
She took steps to Itzel and tried to touch her but Itzel moved away from her.
"I don't know you so stay away from me." Itzel scowled.
Lena came in front of the moment Vivian tried to touch her again.
"I think it's best if you leave right now, " Lena frivid glared dorked on Vivian as she pointed to the door.
Vivian's feet tapped on the floor, she nibbled on her lower lip trying to control her temper. She was boiling with anger and it was evident in her gloomy eyes.
"You have no right to keep me away from my daughter." Vivian seethed with anger.
"You are the one who left me and Daddy, right?" Itzel arched her brows folding her arms across her chest and giving Vivian a once-over.
"Baby, I'm sorry. I'm back now." Vivian sighed clasping her hands together.
Just then the door creaked open revealing Henderson, he had a bouquet of red roses in his hand.
"Baby, " his lips curved up happily as he hugged Lena.
"Welcome back darling."
"I got this for you, " Henderson stretched the roses to her.
"Thank you, my love, " Lena kissed him after taking the roses from him.
Henderson's jaw clenched, his eyes narrowed the instant he turned and beheld Vivian who had a smile plastered on her face.
"Hi, honey."
Henderson chuckled, " Honey, I'm pretty sure your honey Axel is in jail at the moment."
Lena burst out laughing the moment she and Henderson exchanged glances.
This made Vivian furious, she was brimming with jealousy, and she regretted leaving Henderson. She only left him the time she did because he was poor, he had only a restaurant to his name and she met Axel. The day she met him, he came to the restaurant, he collected her contact and they got talking. She started going out with him and when he started to spoil her with many expensive gifts, giving her the luxury Henderson couldn't afford she started to date him unknown to Henderson. She handed over divorce papers to Henderson the day Axel told her about his plans to marry her when Itzel was barely two years old.
"Henderson, I'm sorry for leaving you. I regret my decision even to this day."
"Sweeties go upstairs, we'll be up with you guys soon," Henderson mumbled as he veered to face Trent and Itzel.
They nodded before ambling upstairs together.
"What was she saying again?" Henderson made a scrunched-up face glancing at Lena who was chortling.
"I'm done hearing you speak gibberish, leave!"
Henderson's face darkened, his eyes flickering with rage.
"Henderson, I'm sorry. We should give us a chance because of our daughter, " Vivian pleaded going on her knees.
"Us? There will never be an us, Itzel doesn't need you. She has the best mom." Henderson beamed gazing at Lena, he planted a kiss on her forehead before returning his eyes to Vivian who was scowling at Lena with intense hatred.
"Will you leave or you prefer I call security?" Henderson barked shooting her a glare.
"Why are you doing this Henderson? I already apologised to you."
"Didn't you hear him? Get the hell out of this place! Or do you want me to drag you out myself, you shameless woman?" Madam Carmen's stern voice hollered in the room as she came from the kitchen.
Vivian rose to her feet, her lips drew back in a snark as her eyes roamed Lena, Henderson and Madam Carmen.
"You all will regret this, " she threatened menacingly before storming out of the loving room shutting the door with a thud.
"Who let her in? They need to be fired." Henderson's brows snapped together.
"The new guard did, he had no idea she was your ex-wife." Madam Carmen explained.
"Still, Aunt Nana. He should have checked in with the other guards and not made such a horrible mistake." Henderson's face contorted in a frown.
"Babe, Aunt Nana already said he didn't know that was why he let Vivian in. Just let it be." Lena smiled taking Henderson's hand.
A sigh left Henderson's lips, " fine. But I have to do something to make sure that woman never comes anywhere near us."
A week later....
Henderson got a restraining order against Vivian the same day she left. Henderson tried to explain things about the relationship between him and Vivian to Itzel, but she made it known to him that she was well aware of everything to his surprise but it was a relief. There was no way he was going to let Vivian back into his life after everything she had done to him and Itzel. He was no fool!
"I'm sorry Sir, but your kids are not in the school." The principal told Henderson whose face blanched accompanied by a slacked jaw the moment heard the statement.
'What was this the principal was spewing? Was it some kind of joke?'

Chapter 77—Justice!
"Babe calm down, we are going to find them, " Henderson comforted draping Lena in a warm embrace.
Even though he was perturbed by the present situation, he had to be strong and comfort Lena who had been crying ever since he got back from the kids' school and told her all that had transpired when he went to pick up the kids.
Trent and Itzel weren't home and none of them knew about their whereabouts and that made Lena's heart fill with worry.
Henderson returned to the mansion but before then he was shown footage from the school's CCTV camera, Trent and Itzel were dragged into a black car by masked men right outside the school's gate.
"I wish I could calm down, darling. But we have no idea where our kids are, our babies are missing, " Lena sobbed burying her face in Henderson's chest.
Henderson patted her back comfortingly, the truth was that at the moment he was perplexed, their engagement party was in a few days and now their kids had gone missing.
Henderson had called up the cops at the school and they asked him a few questions, one of which was if he knew anyone who could have been responsible for taking the kids. Henderson could only think of one person, Vivian his ex-wife, after all, she made some ugly threats the day she came to the mansion unvited. They told him that once he got any call from the kidnappers he should inform them so they could take things up from there.
If Axel wasn't in jail, he would have been Henderson's prime suspect.
"I'm pretty sure Vivian is responsible for this, " Henderson sighed in frustration.
Lena hoisted her head to gaze at Henderson, she shook her head.
"I don't think she would want to do that. Why would she abduct our kids? If only Trent was taken I would probably have her on the list of the people who could have been responsible for it but Itzel was taken away as well. I mean why would she decide to abduct her own daughter."
A sad expression etched Henderson's countenance and he puffed a breath.
"I think you don't know the kind of person Vivian is, she is ruthless. She doesn't care about anyone else but herself. Vivian doesn't have even the slightest...."
Henderson's sentence was interrupted by the buzzing of his phone. He took the phone, 8t was an unknown number calling, Henderson glanced at Lena.
"It might be the abductor, " Lena gulped nodding her head as a go-ahead for Henderson to pick up the call.
He picked up the call and put it on speaker.
"Hello."
A loud snicker came from the other end accompanied by cries which Lena and Henderson recognised to be Trent's and Itzel's.
"Sweeties." Lena's face brightened on hearing the kids' voices and she sat up.
"Mommy, " Trent and Itzel whimpered.
Vivian's voice came next, " Shut the hell up you brats!"
She ordered for Trent and Itzel to be gagged so Lena and Henderson could no longer hear their voices.
"Darlings, itzel Trent," Lena called but when she got no response, her heart beat frantically in her chest.
Her voice was filled with worry as she yelled, " What did you do to them, Vivian?"
"I just shut them up, their nuisance was becoming too much for me to bear so I just had to do something about it."
Henderson's jaw clenched, his eyes darkened with rage, "Don't you dare hurt them, Vivian."
Vivian let out a loud laugh before she huffed in annoyance, " I call the shots here Henderson, not you. So just listen to me. If you want you, I mean our daughter and this bastard whom you now call your son. You have to do as I say. Pay the sum of twenty million dollars else you might as well prepare for their funerals. You know me well to know that I'm not joking and I will definitely keep my word. I know you are a billionaire so that's not really much. I'm being this generous only because of the relationship we once shared. Also, consider this my gift for your engagement."
" Please Lena I beg you. Spare our children they've done you no wrong." Lena begged amidst tears.
"Please share our children they've done you no wrong, " Vivian mimicked in a mocking tone.
"What did I say the other day before I left? Let me remind you just in case you have forgotten. I said you guys were going to regret it and now I'm back to fulfil my promise. All I had to do was find a way to get them out of school and then ask my men to abduct her. Henderson did you really think a restraining order was going to be enough to keep me away, well you thought wrong." Vivian sneered.
Henderson sighed expressing a deeper sense of frustration, "You better stop this nonsense Vivian else you might be the one with regrets at the end of the day."
Vivian cackled, "Well then let us see. You have twenty fours hours to get me my money or better still start the preparations for your kids..."
"Please don't do this, " Lena interjected, she was in tears. Henderson had his hand around Lena trying to calm her down.
"Vivian, Vivian, " Henderson snarled but he got no answer, Vivian had hung up on them.
Henderson called up the cops quickly, they came over to the house. They were able to track Vivian's location and they were going to go there. Henderson was going to go along with them, but Lena insisted on going with them even though Henderson pleaded with her since things could turn out dangerous. They made their way to the location with the cops. Vivian was captured alongside her goons.
"I'm sorry sweeties, " Lena cried embracing the kids.
Lena realised Henderson's words were true when they got to the scene, Vivian was heartless and cruel. She tied up Trent and Itzel they were criminals.
Henderson joined in the embrace, he sighed in relief.
"I wish I had killed them before you both showed up here!" Vivian barked as she walked past Lena with the cops who held onto both of her shoulders even though she was handcuffed.
"Hold on, " Lena gestured to the cops who paused.
Lena's lips curled up with anger as she leered at Vivian taking steps to her.
"You'll finally get to be with your honey in jail!" Lena seethed with anger and slapped Vivian hard across the face.
Vivian's visage darkened but she could do a damn thing since her hands were restrained, she just stared daggers at Lena.
"Take her away, " Henderson beckoned. He ambled to Lena and embraced her in a warm hug.
Later that evening, Irene came over to the house when she got to know from Matteo that Trent and Itzel had been abducted. Even Matteo and Cleo weren't aware, Cleo got to know when she got back from the office. Earlier that afternoon, Cleo had called up Henderson when she didn't see him return to the office but he told her he wasn't going to come back without telling her why.
When Cleo got to know all that had happened she called Matteo and let him know about it, he came to the mansion afterwards.
Irene had to return home when she got a call from her mom requesting that she return home immediately.
Days Later.
For Axel and Vivian, it was the worst day of their lives but for Lena and Henderson it was an end to an overdue enmity.
Axel was sentenced to death for his offences, and he was found guilty of all the accusations while Vivian was sentenced to twenty years imprisonment but right he court she pulled a gun from an officer and shot herself in the head.
