Juliet walked outside and wandered about the house when she couldn't fall asleep . When she had wandered outside through an open door that she had sighted, she met Daniel standing outside, staring at the sky... he immediately noticed a presence behind him and turned to look at her before she could go back in... "I'm sorry, I couldn't fall asleep." Juliet tried to explain the reason she wasn't asleep, and she wondered why she was walking around... "it's okay, I couldn't fall asleep too," Daniel said, so she wouldn't be so nervous... juliet nodded, and a short silence grew between the both of them before Daniel broke it... "I'm happy for the both of you." He started a warm smile on his face... "he has been through a lot," Daniel said and sighed deeply... "he might tend to keep things to himself... or find it hard to open up to someone, but he is a good person. Even though he didn't have the best childhood, he turned out to be a really good person, I assure of that... I haven't seen him so happy in years... he has that sparkle in his eyes once again that had been dead for so long. " Juliet could see the sadness in Daniel's eyes as he spoke about Alex... he truly cared for him... "I hope the two of you cam be together for a long time," Daniel said and patted juliet shoulder as he walked past her... Juliet sighed deeply as she stood there staring at the beautiful stars in the sky... in her heart, she made a wish... a wish not for herself but for the man that she loved... she wished for him to always be happy. with or without her... she wished that the sparkle that had returned to his eyes and life never dwindled again... she wished he would heal and would no longer be in pain... shs wished dearly with her eyes closed, and her eyes only fluttered open again when she had a familiar hand wrap around her waist and pull her closer... a smile appeared on her face as she tilted her head to look at Alex... he planted a kiss on her lips, and juleit smiled widened... "You should be asleep, we have a long drive tomorrow morning" Alex said, and jukeit sighed deeply... "I couldn't seem to fall asleep,she said, and Alex rested his on her shoulder... "What are you thinking about?" "You," Juliet answered, and Alex froze for a second... "me?" He said, and she nodded... "Yes, don't you think about me?" She asked, and a warm smile appeared on Alex face... "I think about you ever damn time... even now even though you are so close to me, I can't stop thinking about you. " Juliet heart melted like butter when she heard Alex words... she slowly turned to look at him and gave him a hug.. Alex arms wrapped around her, and they stood there in each other arms... "they look so great together," Joy muttered as she watched Alex and juliet from her bedroom balcony. they oddly reminded her to she and her husband when they were young... it was like love at first sight for her, and she had fallen head over heels in love with him and didn't care one bit about the family he came from... she had agreed in a heartbeat when he asked her to move in the countryside with him, even though she had to leave her work and family behind... and as she stared at them, she could see a difference between their love and her love...she had been the only one who sacrificed something for the man she loved and it became harder for her to return her former life after she had James... she regretted her decision every single day... her life felt like a prison, and she hated Daniel for sending the only companion she had away... if her son had been close by then, it would have been bearable for her... she heard the door of the room open, and she felt a shiver run down her spine as she heard his footstep approaching... "Don't you, dear, touch me," She said in a cold voice when she felt him standing beside her... "Do you want your precious nephew to know that our perfect marriage is all a sham!" she said and turned to look at him. A deep frown Had settled On his face, the look he had in eyes made Joy swallowed....her heart racing in fear as he moved closer to her hand grabbed her arm roughly, she winced in pain and tears appeared in her eyes... "I want a divorce... just sign the damn paper. I don't want anything, " She said, and Daniel scoffed... "That is never going to happen" He said firmly And joy felt her stomach churn as tears rolled down her cheeks... "Please, I can't do this anymore... I can't take this anymore" her voice shook as shs spoke... her eyes filled with so much pain but he didn't seem to care a bit that he was hurting her... They looked really good together... she kept looking towards their house till it disappeared from her view... she turned to look at Alex and took his free hand in hers... His uncle really cared for him... she was happy that he had someone other than her who worried deeply about him, and it warmed her heart to know that they were close.
