"Ma'am" Clara called out to Gina who was in her office, even though her mind had travelled to another realm. "Ma'am!" Gina said again, and tapped her boss arm, and this finally gained Gina's attention... "What do you want!" Gina spat out and Clara almost scoffed. "You called for me Ma'am" Clara answered.... internally she hated seeing Gina's face and wished she wouldn't show up everyday at the boutique... it wasn't like she did anything than sit down in her office all day and be in a bad mood... Making all of them walk on egg shells
"Did i" Gina said trying to remember the reason why she had called Clara in the first place, but she couldn't remember so she made something up... "I'm leaving Take care of everything till I'm back" She picked up her designer bag and put on her heels that she had taken off when she came to her office... Clara watched as Gina walked off and wondered what the problem was. Did she have another fight with that handsome man from before... She scoffed, Clara knew it wasn't going To last when Gina had such a nasty behaviour... she deserved anything that was happening to her....
Gina walked out of her boutique and sighed deeply... "Should I go to lory's place" She muttered under Her breath but shook her head... her friends weren't close friends but friends which someone could brag to... They never talked about anything else than 'oh! did you know that that new limited edition bag is out!' and then they go on to brag... Gina had no where to go except her apartment and her father's house. She really didn't want to see her father and stepmother and her apartment felt kind of suffocating to her...
"A drink wouldn't kill me" She muttered and left her boutique and after scouring around for a while Gina finally found a bar that she could stay at...
She came out of her car and swallowed... Her eyes scanning the vicinity... She started to walk towards the entrance of the bar but immediately turned away and headed back for her car when two people came out... What if someone recognised her! she thought...
She sighed deeply and opened her car so she could take out her sunglasses and scarf... Her perfect disguise...
As she was about to turn and walk back to the bar she saw a man walking towards her car and her heart dropped for a few seconds... did he know her! but she didn't recognise him... what did he want!
"Are you alright Ma'am?" The man asked... he didn't know her. "I'm fine" Gina said in a low voice hoping he would go away...
"Are you sure? why are you standing here instead of going inside?" He asked and took a step closer to Gina...
"Would you please not speak to me right now!" Gina snapped at the man who wouldn't leave her alone and go the hell away. He was disturbing her thoughts... A smile appeared on Charlie's face and she shook his head... "Why are you standing here instead of going inside?" He asked again and successfully pissed Gina off the more... "Are you afraid someone you know might see you here? in a bar?" He added and she glared daggers at him... "That is none of your business" She said in a low voice, trying her best to contain her anger... "Well it's my business when I see an indecisive customer standing outside like this" Charlie answered... Gina scoffed and shook her head. "So you work here?"
"You can say that" Charlie said, a lingering smile on his lips... "I'm not a customer till I walk in. leave me alone unless you want to go fired" shs threatened and this only made Charlie's smile became wider... "Fired? how would you do that?"
She glared at the man and started to walk towards the entrance of the bar... he had gotten on her nerves and she was going to report him to his manger! She glanced behind her and saw the man following after her... She scoffed and shook her head... He didn't seem fazed maybe it was because he was used to getting away with things...
Charlie's eyes were on Gina, as he walked behind her... she was a character... He was curious to know what she was planning, maybe report him to his manager... or what? She seemed really pissed at him...
Gina eyes travelled around the bar till she walked to the counter where bar stools were... She loved the setting of the bar she wouldn't lie... It wasn't crowded probably because it was afternoon...
She sat on the bar stood and took off her sunglasses... A smile was on Charlie's face as he walked around the counter and gestured for one of his workers not to greet him or say anything... The worker immediately left and Charlie took his position...
"What would you like Ma'am" Charlie asked Gina and a frown immediately settled on her face...
"I want someone else" Gina said firmly... "I'm afraid that will not be possible, I'm the only one available" Charles lied and he almost laughed out loud when she rolled her at him...
"You really know how to get on someone's nerves" She muttered under Her breath...
Charles picked up a bottle of whiskey and poured it in a glass... He pushed it to Gina and said "it's on the house"
"I don't like freebies, I will pay for it" She said and picked the drink up... Maybe she should have gone home to take a nap or something...
Gina drank the whiskey and quickly got carried away with the problems that plagued her mind and she soon forgot about the problem in front of her... Charlie poured glass after glass for her... His eyes filled with curiosity... Who was she... she was really beautiful... were the thoughts that kept popping up in his mind...
He wanted to know more about her... He had no idea that she was the Gina who his mom and aunt wanted for Alex...
