"Are you alright?" juliet asked, her eyes filled with worry... Alex ran his hand through his hair and swallowed... "I'm fine," he lied... he had a nightmare again, the one that plagued him all the time that he couldn't even get a peaceful sleep... he was tired and wished that just for one day he would be able to get some rest... Alex took her hand to see if he had hurt her. He robbed it slowly and softly and sighed deeply... "I'm sorry." He apologised, and juliet shook her head. "I'm fine," She assured Him, her eyes still on him. She had an inkling that the nightmare he had might somehow be related to his panic attacks, and she was worried for him... he wasn't ready to speak to her about it yet... and thankfully, he had not , any more panic attacks since that time.. he seemed to be doing fine, but maybe she had thought wrong.. "Are you done with work?" He asked when he noticed she had closed her laptop. "Yes, I am," Juliet answered, and he nodded... "Should we go out for lunch?" Alex asked, and juliet stood up... "Is it too late for lunch? How about dinner then?" Alex added, "Come with me," Juliet replied and stretched her hand towards him and gestured for Alex to take it... Alex hesitated for a few seconds before he finally took her hand and got up... she led him to the kitchen and made him stay close to her while she wiped both of them a late lunch... Alex stood there in silence watching her every move... A slight smile lingering on his face, in contrast to his raging heart... "Should I add in more carrots, I'm not really sure about this recipe," juliet asked without turning to look at Alex... Alex let go of her hand and wrapped his hand around her waist... he rested his head on her shoulder, closed his eyes... it was soothing... "If I'm being honest, julie...I'm not fine," He said in a low voice as his eyes fluttered open... Juliet dropped the knife in her hand and slowly turned to look at Alex... her eyes filled with worry... Her hand soon found his face, and she caressed it soothingly... he kissed her hand on his face and smiled slightly at her... "But lately you make me what to be okay... I want to be okay for you, Julie... I really do, but I don't know how to, " Alex said in a low voice, his heart heavy... a part of him was slowly starting to give up that he was ever going to be fine, while a part of him wanted to be okay... "I can help you...I'm here, Alex." Juliet looked deep into his beautiful eyes and leaned closer... she planted a kiss at the side of his mouth, and Alex hugged her... he buried his head in the nook of her neck and planted a soft kiss on it... "Thank you," He whispered against her neck and broke the hug... "You must be hungry, what should I help you with?" He asked, and it took juliet a few seconds before she answered him... she wondered if he was ever going to open up to her... They both ate their lunch in a comfortable silence and when they were done Alex asked "would you like to seat with me at the patio" Juliet who didn't want to be separated from him yet agreed... They both walked to the beautiful balcony of the penthouse and took a seat... Juliet rested her head on Alex shoulder and closed her eyes... Their hand intertwined... everything felt really peaceful as the evening breeze blew toward them ruffling both of their hair... She could feel her heart racing in her chest, because of how close she was to him and her eyes slowly fluttered open to look at their intertwined hands... "Alex..." She whispered his name and raised her head from his shoulder to look at him... a peaceful smile on her face... Alex hand travelled to her face and tucked a few of her ruffled hair behind her ears... she looked so beautiful... and alluring and he felt his heart melt for her... The feeling he had for her showing in his eyes and how he looked her at,she was so precious... "We should go inside before he gets too chilly" Alex said in a low voice and stood up... his heart racing like crazy in his chest because she knew if he spent a few more seconds so close to her, he wouldn't be able to hold himself back anymore... Juliet stood up also and walked after him, following her heart.... Alex froze completely in his tracks when he felt her hand snake around his waist and holding him... he felt her rest her head on his back and his heart stopped... The both of them stood their, their Breaths uneven as time passed by them... Alex let out the deepest breath as his hand travelled to her hand around his waist... he made her release him and slowly turned to look at her... Juliet could feel the spark erupting through her entire body as their eyes locked... she couldn't look aware and was trapped inside his mesmerising eyes... Her heart screaming and yearning so much for him.. she wanted him to place his hands on her body so much that it was overwhelming and she couldn't hold back anymore... She took a step closer to Alex and stood on her toes, placed her hand on his shoulders and planted a kiss on his lips... while Alex just stood there frozen... He could hear his self control snap in his ears and when she broke the kiss and kissed him once again he heard the last snap and that was It... "Juliet" He breathed out her name and juliet felt his soft voice caresse her skin... "Yes" She responded in a whispered as they locked eyes again, her heart pumping more than ever in her chest... her legs growing weak each passing seconds... "I don't think I can stop myself tonight" Alex said to her and the next thing she knew he picked her up in one swoop causing her to gasp in surpise... Both of their bodies trembling with desire... Alex never broke eyes contact with her as he carried her up the stairs... each step he took filled his desire the more... and then they finally got to the room Alex dropped her and captured her lips... time seemed to stop for the both of them as he kissed her taking entire breath away and feeling her up with desire for him... _^___^________________ ______________________
