"Your son never listened to me...I guess he took after me," Michelle said as she wiped the picture of her late husband... the man she compared Alex to all the time... The man she had hated for a long time... the man she shared a son with... She sighed deeply as her hand glided over his picture... He looked so handsome with such a smile on his face... she was instantly smitten by this smile when she had seen him for the first time when he came with his father so see her father... But she had become heartbroken when she learnt her sister would marry him instead of her... She was such a fool back then... A sad smile on her face...if she could go back in time, would she still marry him? Then she wouldn't have Alex? Her son who hated her now and wasn't close with her? Would she be able to hold her little baby in her arms? Her child... She dropped the picture inside her drawer and sighed deeply... There was no use crying over a past that couldn't be changed... What mattered the more was the present and how it was going to affect the future.... Her phone started to ring and it got her attention... Michelle sighed deeply and picked up her phone so she could see who was calling... It was Gina... She didn't need her complaints or tantrums right now. She wasn't in the mood. She was getting tired of it already and was contemplating looking for someone else... Caroline told her about Lisa, who was returning to the city to take over her father's company. Maybe she could invite her out for lunch.... She didn't answer the call, and Gina continued to call her... repeatedly till she couldn't take it any longer and answer the call... "What is going on now?" She said, and she heard gina crying at the other end of the line and became worried... "What is wrong, calm down and speak to me?" Michelle said, and Gina finally stopped sobbing and was able to talk... "Alex threatened me today," Gina said in a sad voice... "What!" Michelle exclaimed, surpised by Gina's words... "What do you mean he threatened you? Explain to me, "Let me understand what you are saying... Where are come to.my house right now? " She ended the call and sighed deeply. what was wrong with Alex? Did he find out that they went looking for Juliet... Was that why he threatened Gina? No! that was unlike her son, he wouldn't do something like that because of just that, there must be another reason... Maybe Gina did something she shouldn't have... she had to get to the bottom of the matter, and if Gina was at fault, then she had no choice but to start looking for someone else for Alex... She didn't want to waste her time on someone that would cause her trouble... _____________ ______________ Patrick dropped Alex off at his house, and Alex hesitantly went inside... He headed straight to his room and didn't bother about dinner... He just wanted to lay down and take a nap, even though he knew he won't fall asleep, and even if he did, he only ended up having the same nightmare over and over again.... It was like his own punishment... He walked into his room and took a cold shower to calm his nerves... When he was done, he walked to his bed and laid down... The room was dimly lit because it was getting late, but he refused to turn on the light.... Alex stares at the high ceiling of his room... in the house he had to move back to Ten years ago, because his doctor recommended it... He sighed deeply and picked up his phone... Was she okay? he told her he would call her, but here he was hesitating to do so... He dropped his phone by his bedside table and closed his eyes, hoping he could fall asleep.... ______________ ______________ Alex walked out of his room and headed down the hall... it had late and everyone in the house was fast asleep. He took out a key from his pocket when he got to the last door in the hallway, and he hesitated as his hand travelled to the door knob... He sighed deeply and unlocked the door... The room was dark as his legs hesitantly moved, and he walked into the room... He found the light sweet and turned on the light of the room... He stood in the same spot for almost a minute before he finally walked into the room... He held his arm and tried to catch his breath, but it was hard... The room was filled with pictures of his family... A once happy family that had been totally destroyed fifteen years ago... He would never forget that day as long as he lived... It would haunt him for the rest of his life... the day his father had passed... the memories were still vivid in his mind, and he knew his mother remembered it well... The day their lives got ruined for good... Alex stopped in his tracks when he eyes sighted something and he immediately couldn't breath... The entire floor of the room was covered in blood, and someone laid on the ground also covered in blood... his whole body started to tremble uncontrollably and he tried to look away or move but he could...His body was frozen in fear, his eyes wide in horror as he continued to stare at the lifeless body on the ground... His body slowly started to move on its own and began to move towards the lifeless body and Alex tried to stop his legs from moving, but he couldn't... He didn't have control over his own body... "No!" He yelled out in horror when he recognised who the lifeless body belonged to... his whole body started to tremble uncontrollably, and he felt to his knees... Alex immediately rushed to the body and held the body in his arm... It was Juliet! why was she here... her body was cold, and her face pale... it scared him to death... when he saw her body covered in blood and his hands were now covered in blood! "No!" He screamed out in raw paralysing pain...
