"Would you like to go on a date with me this weekend?" Alex asked when he was done with his food... Juliet had been fiddling with her fingers under the table the whole time, her heart kept racing as she watched him eat, and now he was asking her out on a date... "If you have a prior engagement, you don't have to go with me..." Alex added when she didn't answer him within a few seconds.... Was he going too fast... "No! I don't have any prior engagements I'm free during the weekends, " Juliet quickly added, and Alex nodded. "So it's a date," He said, and she nodded... The silence returned, both their hearts still racing... "I will pick you up at five," Alex said and broke the silence... "Okay," She said, and their eyes locked... that tensions rose again when Alex eyes trailed to her lips... He fisted his hand and swallowed. this was going to be harder than he had thought... How was he going to make it through his business trip without seeing her... He almost cursed under his breath... He had to wrap everything up as soon as he could so he could get back and see her.... "I should get going," Alex said and stood up after a few minutes passed... he had work to do... the sooner he started to earlier, he would finish... He had to go through all the documents he had asked Patrick and Olivia to place in his office, and he wasn't even halfway through them... Juliet almost pouted when he said he was leaving... why did he always leave so fast... was it because of the kind of work he had? what kind of work did he have? She stood up with him and walked him to the door. he was no longer a stranger but her.... boyfriend... it was yet to sink in for Juliet yet, and she needed a bit of time to process everything... Alex took her hand just as he was about to leave her house... He smiled at her, and she smiled back at him... "Thank you," He said to her and leaned closer. She was expecting him to kiss her on the lips, but Alex kissed her on her cheeks, and her face immediately became flushed... "See you on Saturday," He said in a low voice, and her smile became wider as she watched him leave.... Her heart was still racing like crazy in her chest, when he waved at her and she waved back at him... Even though she had been nervous and tensed while he was in her house, she still wanted him to stay.... Juliet watched him hesitate to get into his car... she became confused when he closed his car door and started to walk back towards her.... "I need to do this," Alex said when he got to where she was standing at the entrance of her house... "Do what?" Juliet said even though she was already aware of what he was going to do... Alex took a step closer and captured her lips... Her heart melted, and he broke the kiss and quickly walked away, causing Juliet to face palm herself and chuckle... what if someone who was passing by saw them.... she bit her lips as she watched him smile Warmly at her as he got into his car and drove away... okay! she liked him a lot... She giggled as she walked back into her house and locked her door.... She face palmed herself again and chuckled... Her hand travelling to her lips... "I thought you weren't ready for a boyfriend Julie," She muttered to herself as she walked to her kitchen.... Well yes, she wasn't ready for one that was before she met him and he completely swayed her and made her forget about it.... She remembered how she readily said yes when he asked her if she wanted to be his girlfriend... She didn't even hesitate... Her heart and mind and body were completely against the thought of saying no to him when all she wanted was for him to hold her in his arms... She started to walk to her kitchen and she stood walking when she stood at the spot where they had kissed... Her mind was immediately flooded with the memories of the kiss, and tingles started to travel around her entire body even though he wasn't there.... Thinking about him alone was enough to make her like this.... "Calm down, Julie, you have to take things slowly with him," Juliet reminded her over and over again. She had to calm her feelings down so she wouldn't get hurt later ... She had to remind herself that anything could happen... she couldn't afford to get hurt, but their date popped up in her mind, and she found herself rushing to her room to pick out what she was going to wear on Saturday... _________________ ________________ Alex had a smile on his face as she drove his car towards his office... he hummed a song, and his heart felt warm... they were finally together... He stopped his car when he drove past a building that had catched his eyes.... it was a two story building which was just a few minutes away from Juliet's house... He reversed his car and stopped right in front of the building... He saw some people walking out of the building and assumed they were the tenants.... Alex took out his phone and snapped the building... He had what he was going to do with it in his mind... He sent the pictures to Patrick and then called him... "Find out about the pictures i sent to you... i need you to make sure I'm able to buy it no matter what," he said, leaving Patrick completely confused at the other end of the line before he ended the phone call.... Alex started to hum again as he started his car engine.... he had a picture of It in his mind...
