Juliet picked up her phone when it started to ring... a smile immediately graced her face when she saw who was calling, she had been thinking about him the entire day... she stood up from behind her desk and walked past lana who had been smiling and glancing at her from the past house... Juliet would have gotten home already but she was waiting for lana to be done with work so they could go to the boutique together... she walked to the meeting room and entered there... she closed the blinders before she answered Alex call... "Hey" She heard his deeply voice and she was smiling from ear to ear already... Twenty four hours of not seeing or hearing his voice felt like two weeks.... "Hi" Juliet responded when she realised she had taken too long to respond... "Are you still at work? have you had lunch yet" Alex said... He dropped the file in his hand and stood up from his chair... her beautiful voice alone was enough to make his work filled day... "I'm done with work, but I'm not headed home yet... I have to follow lana one of my coworkers somewhere... I will head home after" Juliet said and started to run her fingers along the table in the meeting room... Alex stood close to his glass walls and stared at the busy afternoon streets... How he wished he could get a glimpse of her from here... He was unsure If he could... "Oh... is it a work related outing" He asked trying to keep the conversation going, he turned towards the workload he had left to go through, he didn't want to hang up yet and Bury himself back in work... he would have dropped everything for a few hours if she was free just to see her face... "No she wants me to follow her shopping" Juliet answered... "That sounds fun" Alex said and then silence reigned between then before he broke it by saying the words "I miss you" Juliet's heart beat that had quickened when she heard his voice quickened even more... She bit her lips and wanted to squeak in happiness... Alex could only imagine her face from where he was standing and it brought a smile to his face... "Saturday feel like an eternity from now..." He added... It was almost the weekend but Alex couldn't wait till then to see her... he knew if he saw her before then he wouldn't be able to get much work before his business trip... This darn business trip, he wanted her to come with him, but she would surely find out who he was if she came with him... A knock of the meeting door caught Juliet's attention just before she could tell Alex that she missed him too, she guessed who it was already... "I have to go... see you on Saturday..." She said and ended the call before Alex could say anything more... he sighed deeply as he brought the phone away from his hair... He wish he could steal her away from her work place and carry her to a remote island somewhere they could focus on only themselves and nothing else... Juliet walked to thr meeting room door and opened it to see lana... "I'm sorry if I cut your call short, I just wanted to tell you I'm done with work, I asked Sonia and she said I could leave early today.... if we leave now" Lana glanced at her watch before looking back up at juliet... "We can finish up before Six pm" She added and Juliet nodded... "Let me grab my things" Both women left work not without Johnny telling them both to make sure they got something for him... They took a taxi instead of a bus so they could get their faster and about am hour later they arrived... Lana looked a lot more excited than juliet was... Juliet loved shopping but her limit was two hours... she always became completely drained after... she just hoped lana with how excited she looked wasn't planning on using more than two hours... "Wow it look better than I imagined." She Said to Juliet as they walked to the entrance of the boutique... Juliet nodded and smiled slightly... Did Alex have lunch... what if he called her so they could have lunch together... She remembered the time he came to her house late and she watched him eat... did he have the habit of eating late... "Julie" Lana called out to her and snapped her attention back to the present... "Wow" Lana said as soon as they walked into the boutique... everything was beautiful and perfect... Juliet too was awed... As her eyes eyes scanned the place... this was definitely not the place she would visit if she wanted to go shopping, her paycheck wasn't enough for that... Thankfully they had lana's discount card this was her opportunity... "What would you like to see ma'am" A beautiful lady with a name tag "CLARA" approached the both of them and lana immediately told the her what she was looking for... Lana turned to look at Juliet when she was done talking "How about you Julie" "I will just take a look around" Juliet said and lana nodded and followed after Clara while juliet looked around... The front door to the boutique opened and lana who was speaking with Clara caught a glimpse of the woman who walked in... her eyes immediately grew wide... she recognised the elegant woman who looked kind of pale as she walked by but she couldn't place her hand on where she had seen her... "What about this ma'am" Clara said to lana and she looked away from The woman and returned her attention to the reason she was in the boutique... Juliet also saw the woman who walked in but didn't pay much attention and turned back to the clothes she was looking at... from the woman's stance she could tell she was either the manager or an important customer, not like her...
