Alex stood there, frozen in his tracks as he stood behind Joy and Juliet, listening to everything that Joy was telling Juliet, and for some reason, he didn't think it was real. He didn't think he was hearing right... everything was at a standstill for him... He couldn't breathe... he couldn't move. He wanted this all to be a bad dream but he knew it was real and not a bad dream... Everything Joy was saying was real... "How...how could that be..." Alex finally found his voice, and Juliet turned and gasped when she saw Alex standing behind them. Her eyes were filled with tears as she stared at Alex... Juliet and Joy immediately stood up, and Juliet rushed to Alex's side... she wanted to tell him that it wasn't true and it was all a lie, but she couldn't. How could she when it was the whole truth... the truth that he had been searching for for so long... he was finally hearing it, but he wanted it to be a lie... "Alex!" Juliet muttered his name softly as tears left her eyes. She didn't even know how to console him. She couldn't tell him that everything was going to be fine, because she knew it wasn't... how could it be fine... "How could it...be.." Alex muttered again in a low voice... his eyes cold as ice as he stared at Joy who looked pale... she tried to wipe away the uncontrollable tears that were escaping her eyes, but they didn't help much... it just kept coming... she took a deep shaky breath and nodded as she slowly walked to where Alex was standing... "It's true... I was shocked at first, too, but I wasn't surprised that he was capable of such a thing... I'm sorry Alex... I should have told the whole truth when I found out, but I was terrified that the same thing would happen to me too... he is a deranged person" Alex closed his eyes as Joy's words sank deep into him. This whole time, he had been searching for the culprit, but the culprit had been close to him the whole time... he felt like a fool... Alex felt a sharp pain in his chest and groaned, and Juliet's eyes immediately grew wide in fear. "Alex!" she yelled out his name when his hand travelled to his chest, and his face contoured in pain... Alex turned away and started to walk away. Juliet and Joy exchanged worried looks... "Alex, please wait," Juliet said to him, but he didn't listen and started to walk towards the front door... this time he groaned in pain as he pushed open the front door and walked out of the house... Juliet was about to go after him when Joy stopped her and shook her head. "I think he needs to be alone... this is a lot for him to process,", She said, and Julie shook her head. "No, I can't let him be on his own when he is in pain... I need him to be fine," Juliet said, and joy released her hand... "Alex!" Juliet yelled frantically and rushed after Alex, but before she could get into the elevator with him, it had closed... Joy was standing behind her, partially regretting what she had done, even though she knew she couldn't take back her word and hide the truth anymore... Juliet pressed the elevator button frantically wanting it to open, but it was taking too long... and when it finally opened, joy rushed in with her... "I'm sorry", she said in a trembling voice to Juliet, who was worried as hell about Alex and just wanted him to be okay... her heart kept dropping as she stood in the elevator waiting for it to reach the private parking lot... Alex loosened the first two buttons of His shirt as he walked to his car... he ran his hand through his hair and stopped in his tracks to catch his breath. The security guard approached him and became a little concerned as he did; Alex looked pale. "Are you alright, sir?" he asked, and Alex turned to look at him. "I need the car keys", he said, and the security guard immediately left to do as he had been instructed. He handed Alex the keys to one of the cars... "Are you alright, sir?" the guard asked, but Alex said nothing and only walked to his car and got into it. Juliet and Joy arrived at that moment as Alex drove out, and the guard turned to look at her. "can you drive?" Juliet asked joyfully; Joy nodded even though she hadn't driven in almost ten years. The issue on the ground warranted it... "I need the keys", Juliet said firmly. And the security guard, who had no idea what was going on but knew exactly who Juliet was, did as she said... He gave the keys to Juliet, who handed them to Joy, and a few seconds later, they were both in the car, ready to go after Alex. "Where do you think he must have gone to," Juliet said in a shaky voice, she was beyond worried that he was driving in such a state and the look he had in his eyes made her feel uneasy... his eyes had been really cold and she had no idea what he would do If he met Dan... "Michelle", Joy muttered when she finally thought about where Alex could be... "put your seat belt on", She said to Juliet, who did as she said. And joy started the car and drove off.... her eyes fierce as she drove into the busy street of Everton... Juliet heart started to race in fear, as her eyes scanned the busy street for Alex car but she couldn't find it... she was afraid that he wouldn't be at Michelle's house and didn't know where to look for him then. she could already tell that he was in and wanted to be with him and try to console him but she didn't know what to do... she ran her hand through her hair and tried calling Alex, but he didn't answer her calls. she called him once again and he did the same thing, this made juliet to worry even more ______________________ ______^_______________ "Daniel Graham" Patrick muttered as he read through the police statement that had been covered up... "How did you get this?" Patrick asked and adam sighed out deeply... "the police officer back then kept this, but he passed away a few years back and this had been with his son... his son didn't hesitate to give this to me when I told him that it was illegal for him to be with this... he didn't want to any trouble," Adam escaped... with the help from the maid who worked there before and the statement the police held it was enough for them to reopen the case and they to dig into it to find out the truth... "I think he had something to do with this, he might be the one who Michelle Graham has been meeting secretly, I think it's time we got the police involved..." Adam said and Patrick nodded. he took out his phone and snapped all the evidence with him..he them forwards it to the police officer, he had befriended while investigating the case and had been of help when finding the past officers involved with this case.. "I will Inform Mr hult about it right now" Patrick said and called Alex up to tell him about everything that was happening, but instead he got a surprise of his own and when he ended the call he had a dazed look on his face... "is something wrong" Adam asked and Patrick nodded. "we have to go right now" Patrick instructed and called up the police officer to inform him about what was happening...
