"I can't leave you all alone here juliet come with me," Alex said when he got back to where juliet was waiting for him... "Alex, we have talked about this already," Juliet said, trying to decline, but Alex didn't agree... He would have someone install an iron bar and a new security system the next morning, but her safety was the main priority to him at that moment... "Please don't be stubborn, I can't keep thinking about what would have happened if I was here tonight... someone can easily get into your house. please come with me, " Alex persuaded... Juliet felt fear creep into her... what if after he left, someone really tried to break into her house... "I can stay at a hotel or something," She said to him, not wanting to follow him to his house... and Alex immediately saw through her... he nodded and decided not to argue with her anymore... He instead knew where he would take her... Alex followed juliet inside her house and waited for her to take a few things before they left together... All that time, they had no idea someone was watching them from the shadows... the person waiting for Alex to leave and when the person saw juliet leaving with Alex, they disappeared into the shadows... "I know a hotel closeby... you can drop me there. " Juliet gave Alex the name and directions to the hotel, but instead, for Alex to take a right turn, he took a left turn... "The hotel is the other way," She said to him, and he sighed deeply... "I'm not going to ask you why you don't want to follow me home. maybe we could talk about it another time, but together I have to make sure you are safe... I have an apartment closeby, and you can stay there for now... no one stays there, so you will be comfortable. " Juliet didn't know what to say, but she simply nodded and decided not to decline his offer... The next ride was filled with silence till they got to the place where his apartment was... He parked his car at a private parking lot and helped juliet with her bag... Juliet was expecting a luxurious apartment, but what she was imagining wasn't what she was seeing... her jaw almost dropped as she Alex opened the door to his Penthouse and turned on the light... A luxurious penthouse... everything screamed luxury as they both walked in, from the beautiful living room to the stairs... she was left in awe... "Wow," She muttered... the more she knew Alex, the more surprised she became... and the more incompatible she felt they were... "Follow me, let me show you your room," Alex said to her, and juliet followed after him... they both went to the stairs, and Alex led her to a beautiful room... "You can sleep here," "Thank you," Juliet said to him and smiled slightly... "Do you live here?" She asked him, because the place looked really clean and well organised, like someone resided there... but he had told her no one stayed there, but she assumed maybe he probably stayed here sometimes... "Not anymore... I used to stay here until a few years ago...I had to move back home" Alex answered and juliet saw a small glint pass through his eyes as he talked about 'home' it was a glint of sadness, but it disappeared as soon as it came.... "Have you had dinner yet?" He asked, and juliet shook her head... "I'm not really hungry." She didn't have an appetite anymore after everything that he had occurred... "I'm not hungry," Silence reigned between them after, and both of them stood there, their eyes locked... juliet broke the eye contact when she felt her heart starting to race... "I should get going," Alex said, and Juliet ooked up at him... "Already! I thought you were going to stay here with me. " Juliet blurted out, and a smile graced Alex face... he took a step closer to her, and juliet started to fiddle with her fingers as he took another step closer... her heart racing frantically in her ribcage each step he took... Alex hand slowly snaked around juluet's waist, and he drew her closer... His breath carasseing her soft skin... "I could sleep with you tonight if you want," Alex offered, and Juliet's eyes immediately grew wide when she translated his words into another meaning... "What!" She exclaimed, and Alex couldn't help but chuckle when he saw her reaction... "Of course I will be sleeping in the other room, you don't have to worry, but I can sleep beside you if you want," He said, hoping to tease her a little... Juliet immediately moved out of his arms and cleared her throat... "You don't have to, I'm sure you have work tomorrow and it's pretty late already" She said in a slightly raised voice, her face completely aflame because of how wild her imagination had ran in just a few seconds... she swallowed and looked away from him... Her entire body was heated up... "You should get some rest then," Alex said and walked over to where she was standing, she held her breath when he came so close but Alex just simply planted a soft kiss on her forehead and smiled at her... "Have a nice night," He said and walked away towards the other room, leaving juliet in her room looking completely flustered... Juliet tried to catch her breath as she stood in the middle of the room... she swallowed as naughty thoughts started to invade her mind... was he really leaving... A smile appeared on her face when she remembered how he kissed her forehead and heled her close to his body... she could still feel his arms on her body... she walked to the bed and sat down of it... the smile still on her face... she couldn't deny the desire that was building up in her body each day when she thought about him and when they kissed...
