"I had no idea you were coming to work today," Patrick said when he was in Alex office... Alex sat down and sighed deeply. "I'm trying to find someone, but you don't have to worry, just focus on your work and what you are doing" Alex said and squinted his eyes at Patrick, who looked a little bit nervous. Patrick had not reported anything to him yet, which he found a bit odd, but only thought it was because he didn't find anything, but now he wasn't so sure anymore... "Do you have anything to tell me?" Alex asked, and Patrick shook his head... his eyes darted across the room, and Alex knew he always acted like that anytime he was nervous... He was either hiding something from him or was contemplating if he should tell him or not. "Patrick, are you hiding something from me. is it about my mother?" Alex asked, but before Patrick could talk, there was a soft knock on Alex door... The door was pushed open slowly, and Olivia walked into his office. her eyes darting from Alex to Patrick who looked Like a little kid that was getting scolded, he looked adorable and she had to hold back a smile "Sir you have a visitor, its your cousin" Olivia informed. "Charles?" Alex said and remembered he hadn't been seeing Charles around for a while. "Let him in," He said, and Olivia let to do as she was told, while Alex returned his attention back to Patrick. "We will talk later," he said, and Patrick turned to leave... A few seconds later, Charles walked into Alex office with a bright smile on his face while Patrick walked past him with a sombre look on his face... "Where have you been?" Alex asked when Patrick took a seat on the couch in his office... Alex stood up from behind his desk and sat on the couch also.... "I've been around, you didn't even call me once to check up on me" Charles playfully glared at his cousin, he had no idea the ordeal Alex had been going through, but alex simply smiled slightly at him... "I met someone and I'm getting married soon." Charles dropped a bomb, and Alex just stared at him, completely surprised by this news... "What!" Alex said in disbelief, and Charles nodded... "Does aunt know about this?" He asked, and Charles nodded. "Yes, she does," Charles answered, and Alex sighed deeply... "Do I know her?" The smile on Charles face immediately dwindled... "Yes, you do... it's Gina, " Charles answered, and a deep frown immediately settled on Alex face. how could he forget that crazy lady when she almost ran juliet over... he had warned her to stay away from him, and now she wanted to marry his cousin. that was no way he was going to let that happen... "Are you crazy?" Alex said, slowly feeling his blood starting to boil in his veins... "Do you have any idea the type of person she is?" he added, and Charles didn't look one bit pleased by Alex words. he instead looked pissed that Alex would talk about Gina like that and if he was talking about how she wanted to marry Alex at first then that was all in the past, she only did that because of her father and his pressure not because she had feelings for Alex... "I know about how your mom wanted her to marry you, but that is all in the past now. I only came here to ask for your support, but I don't think I will be getting it with your reaction, " Charles said and stood up, ready to leave.. "You are making a mistake Charlie, you can't marry her..." Alex said, Charles was too good for her.. Alex knew the type of person Charles was. They had grown up together, and Charles was a nice person with a good heart. he didn't want him to be fooled by Gina... Charles scoffed and ran his hand through his hair... Alex had been the only person who supported him no matter what he wanted to do, and now that Alex didn't support him in what he really wanted. it made him sad... "No, I'm not. I love her, and she loves me," Charles said firmly, not wanting to hear anything else that Alex wanted to tell him.... Alex sighed deeply as his cousin left his office... how could he stop this nonsense from happening. Charles didn't look like he could be confused easily, and Alex knew the look in Charles eyes all too well. it was the look of determination. He could tell that Charles was in love and wouldn't listen to anyone... Alex picked up his car keys a while after Charles left and left his office, too... "Are you going somewhere, sir?" Patrick asked a bit worried because he and Olivia had seen the state Charles was when he left Alex office... "I will be back soon," Alex said and walked away towards the elevator... "Donyou think they had a fight," Olivia asked, and Patrick nodded. wondering what must have caused the fight between the two... Alex rode his car straight to Gina's boutique, and immediately he walked through the entrance. Clara immediately became worried when she saw him... things hadn't been pleasant the last time he came, and Gina had been in a horrible mood after... she didn't want Gina to return back to that state when she was only starting to be nice to them... "Excuse me, sir." She walked hurriedly towards Alex, trying to block his way, but alex had other plans... "Miss Dawson isn't in at the moment," She lied, but alex didn't believe her word... "Let me check for myself then," he said and walked past clara, who immediately cursed her breath... she turned to look the customers and immediately smiled Warmly at them so they wouldn't think that anything was up...
