Juliet gasped when Alex picked her up, and she wrapped her legs around his waist as he captured her lips once again and melted in his arms... the woman was silent, and she could hear her raging heart in her ears as they kissed, and that giddy feeling started to rise in the pit of her stomach... She didn't even notice when Alex started to walk till her back was against the soft bed, and Alex broke the kiss... "I love you," He muttered before he captured her lips once again... Alex's hand started to unfasten the button of her pyjamas and before Juliet knew it all of her clothes were gone... she gasped and moaned in pleasure as he started to plant heart-melting kisses all over her body, the desire in her increasing as his lips came in contact with her skin and filled her up with desire... He slowly drifted to sleep but woke up about an hour later due to the absence he felt close to him... his eyes fluttered open to see that Juliet was gone beside him on the bed. Alex got up in a sitting position and wondered where she had gone... Juliet was standing on the balcony with Alex's shirt on... she had an alight smile on her face as she stared at the beautiful night sky and turned when she heard footsteps behind her. It was Alex, and he sighed in relief. "Why are you awake? it's late, " He asked..."I couldn't fall asleep, but you were fast asleep," She replied, and Alex walked to where she was standing. His hand snaked around her waist and pulled her closer to his warmth... He planted a soft kiss on her head and sighed deeply. "What are you going to do?" She asked in a low voice a few minutes later... Alex rested his head on her shoulder and sighed deeply. "What do you think I should do?" He asked, and Juliet was unsure of what to tell him, and he turned to look at Alex. Her hand travelled to his face, and she crassed it tenderly. Her eyes filled with so much love as she asked, "Do you think you can forgive her?" she asked in a low voice, and Alex couldn't answer. "I don't know," He answered. "Anytime I think about my mom I have more sad memories than happy memories, but sometimes rarely, I remember a random happy memory with her" A sad smile appeared on Alex's face when he remembered one random memory when his mother had taken him out to an amusement park... she had rented the whole place out, and it had just been the two of them. He had been so happy to spend time with his mother after she had been sad for a while and they had a lot of fun... But when they returned home, they returned to their reality... the smile on his face dwindled, and he sighed deeply. "I wasn't happy, but she wasn't happy too," Alex added. His mother might have been cruel to him, but most of her life had been ridden with sadness. She was in a failed marriage but couldn't live and had to put up with it every single day, and she had a son who was a constant reminder of that failure. It made him think about how that must have felt for her, but it didn't justify her reasons. When she had broken down crying in his office, even though he had wanted to ignore it, his heart felt heavy and he wished he could wipe the tears away from her eyes because one of the things he hated the most was to see tears in her eyes and even though she hurt him he still cared for her... "Are you worried about her?" Juliet, who was staring at Alex and saw the look he had in his eyes, asked.... he sighed deeply and nodded. He couldn't deny it. After leaving his office, he had called her house to ask if she had gotten back safely, and he always did that... "I need some time to think about this. Can we talk about something else? " Alex asked, and though Juliet wished he would open up more to her about his feelings, she didn't ask any more questions and simply nodded. She could tell that Alex cared for his mother and was worried about her, but because of the way she had hurt him, his judgement was clouded... she wanted him to follow his heart and do what he wanted. She wasn't going to ask him to forgive his mother if he didn't want to and if he wanted to forgive her, she was going to support him in any decision that he wanted to take, as long as it made him happy...
