"When is Mr Wilson arriving?" Patrick asked over the phone during his lunch break... He picked up his sandwich and sighed deeply when he ended the call... Mr. wilson had cancelled his trip... Was someone else really trying to steal their supplier... Who the hell could it be, Alex didn't have any enemies, and at the same time, he didn't have supporters... He just mostly kept to himself, and that seemed to be the cause of his problem... He had gone to find out yesterday if Mr Wilson would be arriving today, but now he had cancelled... He quickly finished his lunch and made sure to get takeout of Olivia, who had been following Alex around since he came back from God knows where, after his mother left yesterday... Alex mood has been really good since then, and Olivia even told him about what happened at the meeting... He decided to take a walk back to the office, and just as he was about to cross the road to the other side, a car stopped right in front of him, blocking his way... The window to the back of the car rolled down, and he almost rolled his eyes when he saw that it was Michelle. What did she want from him now... He had told her already that he wasn't interested in working for her..."Get in," She said and rolled her glass back up... Patrick let out a deep breath and walked around the car so he could get in through the other side... Michelle was really a piece of work.... "Were you on your lunch break? It isn't over yet," She said. When he entered the car, she knew that already, then why was she here disturbing him on his lunch break. "Yes ma'am, but Mr Graham has a meeting soon, so I have to get back to work," He lied, hoping she would leave him alone... "This won't take long," She said and took an envelope out of her bag... She handed it to Patrick, and he was immediately hesitant to take it from her... "Are you going to keep my hand hanging all day?" Michelle spat out and almost snapped at him... He almost cursed as she took it from her... he hoped it wasn't money... "Look inside," She said and looked away, even though she was glancing at him with her side eye... "Okay ma'am" Patrick answered and opened the envelope. there were two documents inside... One was about Juliet, and the other was a contract for him to sign... "I know everything about her already... Do you think I would just sit back and let someone like that be with my son... I'm leaving him alone for now, but I will take care of it soon. Come work for me... sign it. You don't have to stop working for me. You just have to report to me about his daily life, and when he meets her," Michelle explained... Patrick closed his eyes for a second before opening it... This was one of the reasons why he was against Alex and juliet... He knew he would somehow get caught up in the middle of everything... "I'm sorry ma'am, but I can't do that to Mr Graham." You are not that person, Patrick... That is why I'm here, " She said, and Patrick turned to look at her... How could she use this against him when she knew how much he cared for his sister... Alex had paid for her treatment and he had been so grateful, but now that she was back on her feet and had a chance to go study abroad to become the best, he couldn't afford it. He had debts that needed to be paid every month, and his salary wasn't cutting it for him... He didn't want her to lose this chance... "I will be nice and pay for everything.... She picked up the envelope and placed it back into her bag ... "The offer still stands, you know where to find me when you are ready to accept it... I hope you give this a long thought, you can get out of my car now." Patrick got out of Michelle car and stood there till her car drove off... He let out a deep breath and ran his hand through his hair... Her offers weighed on his mind, and he crossed the road and walked into the company... Would he be betraying Alex if he accepted such an offer? yes, he would... but his mother was doing it for his own good... Patrick gave his head a little shake to wad off such thoughts.... he would become an ungrateful jerk if he did such a thing to Alex after everything Alex had done for him...
