"Are you hiding anything else from me?" Juliet asked Alex when she had finally calmed down and was sitting close to him... he held her hand in his and didn't want to let go... Alex felt like a weight had finally brought his life off his shoulder now that she knew.
"No, I'm not... I promise to tell you everything from now, " He said and brought her hand to his lips... Juliet managed to smile at him, even though deep down she was still worried... What if his mother decided to show up onec again... what would she tell her? What if everyone at work finds out... it would make things really uncomfortable for everyone... she didn't want them to ever find out about it...
"How did you find out that I was Alex Graham?" Alex asked... and a smile appeared on Juliet's face... She never knew lana could turn into such a detective...
"From a coworker of mine..." Juliet told Alex everything and about the time they had gone to the boutique before their first day... He listened to her silently, nodding his head at intervals till she was done...
"So you met gina," Alex muttered, but juliet heard him... "Gina? who is Gina?" She asked him, and knew he was probably talking about the pretty lady from the boutique... "Just someone my mother knows," Alex answered... He had told her he wouldn't keep anything from her, but how could he tell her that the person who almost ran them over was Gina, the woman who his mother wanted him to get engaged too... He decided to leave that much information out... he didn't want her to feel unsafe because of him...
"And my mom won't do that again, you don't have to worry," Alex assured...
"What else do you want to know?" Alex asked, glad that she was no longer mad at him...
"What were you doing in this neighbourhood that night... the night that we met, " juliet asked... Their neighbourhood wasn't a place for someone of his...social status to be in... it wasn't a high-end neighbour... why would he be there in the middle of the night and was Patrick his secretary?
"Oh, that night..." Alex said, remember what had transpired that dreadful day that ended up being a blessing to him because he had met juliet... He went ahead to tell her a bit of what had happened...

"Charles, I've been thinking about this for a while, and I wanted to ask your opinion on it," Caroline said halfway through her dinner with her son... Charles stopped eating and looked up at his mother... "What would that be asked?"
Caroline picked up her glass of water and toom a few sips from with before she started talking, "What do you think about getting married?" She said, and Charles eyes grew wide instantly...
"What!" He exclaimed... it should better not be what he was thinking... he hoped his mother wasn't trying to set him up on some sort of blind date...
"Why are you asking me that?" Charles asked, and a smile appeared on her face...
"I was just wondering what you think about it..." She said and continued with her dinner... Charles had lost his appetite already... The last thing he wanted was an arranged marriage when he had just met someone who piqued his interest... Why couldn't he ever do what he wanted...
"What are you planning, mom... a blind date... some sort of family meeting?" Charles said, and Caroline shook her head...
"No dear, something better... do you know who Gina Dawson is?" Caroline asked... the name rang a bell to Charles, and it took him to remember who she was... she was the lady his mother introduced to his aunt...
"What about her?" Charles asked, a slight frown. Had settled on his face already...
"Well, I was thinking of setting both of you up on a blind date... since Alex isn't interested and seemed more interested in his new girlfriend of his, we might as well take this chance while we have it... What do you think?" Caroline said, thinking her soon would go along with her suggestions and plans like he always did...
"Mom, are you really asking me what i think.... what about Aunt Michelle? How do you think she will feel about this if she hears of it... " Charles said, trying his best not to raise his voice... he was definitely not okay with this...
"You shouldn't worry about that, Charles... I should be the one who should worry about that... all you have to be worried about his making a first impression on the dawson... they might not care if they are more affluent than us if Charles Dawson comes to like you... You have shared the same name, " Caroline said excitedly, and Charles wanted to face palm himself...
"Why do you always do this, mom?" Charles started in an icy voice... His aura completed changed and the smile on Caroline's face immediately dissipated...
"Charles, you should know I'm doing this for your own good... If you get married he might leave you in charge of his company... do you know what that means for us? " Caroline said, seeing logic in only her words and thoughts...
"What about my feelings, mom... Why should I get married to someone Alex doesn't want to marry... Why must everything be about me... about us always have to involve Alex... can't you just stay a single day without involving him in my life? " Charles said in a low voice and stood up... Caroline looked shocked... She had never seen Charles react this way... He was always the good soon who did as she wanted and never complained...
she had to idea what had come over him "Charles" She said his name softly... Charles stood up and walked out of the dining room, leaving Caroline completely appalled...
Why was he rebelling at this stage! she couldn't afford for him to... this was the time she needed him to do as she wanted the most...
