it was dark now but thankfully there were light bulbs around as they continued walking, juliet was no longer crying and she was back to the excited person from before... "I won't take any excuses on Monday, you can't keep skipping work, what would your employees think of a boss who keep missing work" Juliet said to him and shook her head and the only reply Alex could of was "we could run away together, what do you think" Alex said, half serious and half jokingly and juliet shook her head at him... " You don't really mean that," She replied, and Alex stopped in his tracks, his hand still intertwined with hers... "And what if I do, would you run away with me?" He asked, and juliet didn't know what to say... she wasn't prepared for such a sudden question... "Where would we go to?" She asked, and Alex continued walking by her side... "Where do you want to go to?" He asked, and juliet glared at him playfully... "That sounds familiar. You asked me the same thing before," She responded... "Where would you like to go? It's your turn," She added, and Alex sighed and thought about where he wanted to go to and nowhere came to mind... "I don't know, as long as you are with me, I can go anywhere with you," He said, and juliet heart skipped a beat... she stopped walking and Alex stopped also, he turned to look at her a confused and curious to know why she had stopped walking... "What is wrong? Are you cold... we should get going, " He said, but juliet shook her head and said in a low voice,"I think I'm in love with you. " Alex froze immediately, and he heard her... he had heard her say she loved him more than a few times, but now that he was staring at her under the moonlight, her eyes shining with so much sincerity and love for him... she looked breathtaking and alluring, and he found himself falling in love with her over and over again... how could he not love her... He loved her so much that it was scared... Him... he loved her and he knew in his heart that he was going to love her until his last breath...he wanted to be with her for the rest of his life and he wanted to breath the same air as her... live the same life as her... do the things she did... laugh when she laughed... be sad when she is sad... be wanted to feel her emotions... she was his life and he loved her so much...she took his breath away and he didn't mind... he wanted to love her for life, in sickness and in health, and even if he died, and even if another life existed, he wanted to be with her in another life and another universe... "I love you more..." He whispered and leaned closer, his lips landing on hers and taking her breath away... juliet opened up to him, her hand travelling to his arm and then around his neck for support so she could reach him... her body melting in his arms as they kissed... his tongue exploring every mouth and the flame in both their bodies ignited... it took Alex all his will power to break the kiss and to remind himself that they were standing at the middle of a beach at night and it was getting chilly and he couldn't let her catch a cold... He took off his jacket and placed it around her shoulder to keep her warm as they continued walking... he wished they could stay like this forever, but he knew their little vacation would only last for a few days before they both had to return to their normal lives, and it made him sigh exasperatedly... he wished they could elope so they could be together every single day... a smile appeared on his face as he imagined how life would be for the both of them when they didn't have to worry about work... they could go to a beach like this and watch the sunset every single day... "Do you really think we could run away together?" Juliet asked like she could read his thoughts, and a smile appeared on Alex face... "Yes, I'm certain," He said, and Alex sighed deeply... "Then what about everyone... wouldn't you be sad that they would be worried..." Juliet wanted to ask about how his mother would feel, but she decided not to... she knew Alex didn't really like talking about his family, and she didn't want to ruin the mood.... "We will let them know we are doing just fine so they wouldn't worry... we could go on a boat cruise just the two of us... I have a boat that we could use, " Alex said, and juliet chuckled... he sounded really serious... "Then would we ever return?" She asked, and everything grew silent for a moment. Alex didn't say anything... he had no thought of returning back to the life he was away from.... the thought made his stomach churn.... "we would just be avoiding our reality instead of facing it, it's like a time extension, no matter how we extent it someday we would still have to face it" Juliet said Alex knew she was saying the truth. he wanted to heal, and he okay... if they eloped, he didn't want to get panic attacks suddenly and scare her... he wanted to recover, then they could be happy and elope without anything holding either of them back. Maybe then they could truly happen... he brought her fingers to his lips and planted a soft kiss on it.... "We can heal together...I'm going to heal for you," He vowed, and juliet shook her head... "Not just me, Alex... you have to heal for yourself too, that way you can be truly happy" She smiled Warmly at him and his heart melted... he was going to heal for the both of them...
