Alex closed his eyes and opened them as he drove his car at high speed... the pain in his chest kept increasing with each passing second. His phone started to ring and he answered the call when he saw that it was Patrick calling. "Sir, I need to speak to you; there is something you need to know about your uncle..." Patrick said, and Alex let out a shaky breath... "I know it already, get the police and come to my mother's house", Alex said and ended the call before Patrick could say anything else... He tried to catch his breath... After hearing what Joy said to Juliet, Alex knew immediately who his uncle had been speaking with. It was the person who hated his uncle the most... his mother. The whole time, she didn't want him to get close to his uncle because she was scared of the type of person he was. He had been suspicious the whole time, but he didn't want his suspicions to be true... he didn't want his mother to be involved because even though he hated her, he still cared for her... it broke his heart so much to think about it... he felt beyond betrayed and wanted to confirm if everything was true himself... Alex increased the speed of his car as he drove to his mother's house and when he finally got there the pain in his chest had increased... he gripped the steering wheel as he tried to catch his breath... Alex let out a deep breath as he came out of his car... he walked slowly to the front door of the house and one of his mother's employees was on her way out of the house when he got the front door... she immediately held the door for him and he said nothing as he walked past her and headed into the house... Alex walked straight to the living room but stopped in his tracks when he heard voices coming from her living room and when he moved closer he was able to hear the voices more clearly... "Me and you have no business together" " she said... and this made him chuckle... He whispered close to her, and Michelle felt a cold shiver run down her spine... he made her skin crawl,l, and the smile he had on his face terrified her. How could she ever forget when it was etched in her mind... "How could you be this way after all these years... I can hardly sleep at night because anytime I close my eyes I see her face... she didn't deserve that... you shouldn't have done that to Glenda... she was innocent... you ruined my son because of what happened..." Michelle said, her hand trembling in fear as she spoke to Daniel who didn't seem to care about what they had done... "It's all in the past now... everything should remain in the past, Michelle; there is no use digging up things that should remain in the past," he said and took a step closer to Michelle, which made her swallow. Michelle yelled out when her son fell to his knees and held his chest... she immediately rushed to his side to hold him while Daniel stood there completely frozen... Michelle's eyes were filled with tears as she held Alex in her arms, "Alex, what's wrong?" she said. "Daniel, do something!" he yelled at his uncle, who was standing there staring at the both of them as Alex struggled to breathe... "Daniel!!" she yelled out his name again... Juliet rushed to the front door of the house, and thankfully the door wasn't locked. "Sir!" Patrick said and rushed to Alex's side, too, after Daniel was gone... "Call an ambulance; he isn't saying anything!" Juliet said, her eyes filled with tears as she held Alex, and he grew paler with each passing second, causing them all to worry... adam immediately called an ambulance...
