Juliet woke up with a bright smile the next morning...She face palmed herself and started to giggle when the details of what happened the previous day kept replaying in her mind... It felt surreal, but it was real and now, they were close... her phone vibrated by her beside and she immediately picked it up expecting a message from Alex, but it was from Sonia her boss... The smile on her face immediately dimmed and she got up... She had to get ready for work... She looked for his number and was about to call it but juliet gave her head a little shake... she took a deep breath and dropped her phone on her bed, but it chimed again, and she immediately rushed to pick it up... she sighed deeply when she saw it was Sonia again reminding her that a had a meeting and she had to be at work early... She quickly got ready for work and left her house... She almost missed the bus but thankfully didn't... She was out of breath when she arrived at the office and Sonia was at her table waiting for her already... "I'm sorry I'm late, I almost missed my bus" She said to her boss who squinted her eyes at her... "I even sent you a message so you wouldn't be late... you know how important this is too us Juliet... I know you don't have to be here and can work from home... But he really need your help right now because we are shut off staffs right now... they will be here at any minute and they seem to be running late too... I hate when people don't keep to time" Lana and Johnny glanced at juliet and waved their hand at her, she smiled slightly at them... Sonia finally sighed and walked away to her office... "She has been on the edge lately don't mind her okay" Lana said and patted her shoulder... "you should ask her about the part timers later, when she is probably in a good mood" Johnny suggested and lana sighed... "i thought you will ask her about it yourself" she glared at him... Johnny stood to and walked over to lana "You should" He said and she continued to glare daggers at him, this made a smile appear on Juliet's face... She wondered if they both secretly liked each other, they were mostly on each other's case... __________________________ ___________________________ "That will be all for today, we will speak again during the next meeting" The representatives from the hotel said when the meeting came to an end and Sonia shook hands with them as they walked out of the meeting room... she turned to look at juliet and smiled excitedly... "This is really happening!" She said and juliet smiled at her... "is spoke with a few of our investors yesterday and they were willing to invest again when they heard about this... if this becomes a succes then we can move a bigger building" Lana knocked on the door of the meeting room, and propped her head slightly through the open door. "How did it go" She asked a bright smile on her face... "Well, really well" Juliet said as she and Sonia started to walk out of the meeting room... Johnny was seated at his table and engrossed in work... "I think we need part timers to work here... so the workload wouldn't be too much for us" lana suggested when they almost got to Sonia's office... "Part timers?" Sonia said considering the idea... "Yes I think so" Juliet chimed in when lana gestured for her to say something... "Ask Johnny to handle that then" Sonia said and disappeared into her office. "Yes finally! I don't have to work overtime anymore!...thank you juliet for chiming in... Have you had lunch yet, it's almost my lunch break" Lana said, wanting to invite juliet out for lunch... They were coworkers, but she was closer to Johnny than she was to juliet, she didn't even know much about juliet because of how private she was... Lana wanted them to become friends... "I have to get going soon, I have somewhere to be" Juliet answered and lana nodded a little sad... "Then what about a coffee break together then" Juliet couldn't decline this and nodded. they both Walked together to the coffee room and Johnny who was engrossed in work followed after them to when he heard them mention coffee. "I heard the hotel might be sold soon" Lana started... "I read it online, that it was scheduled to be sold off, but it was put on hold for some reason... Alex Graham the chairman must have something to do with it... He rarely shows up there, but did a while back" "Alex?" Juliet asked when she heard lana mention the name Alex... "Yes Alex Graham, he is the owner of the hotel, well it's one of his subsidiaries" She said and juliet nodded. Juliet handed lana her cup of Coffee... It was probably just the same name and nothing else.... He was constantly on her mind so she resumed her work... "Juliet you can leave for the day, you don't have to be here all the time, I told you you can work from home" Sonia said to Julie when she came into the break room for her coffee break... Juliet nodded and smiled at her boss. It was in her work contract that she only needed to show up at the company when it was necessary, but she wanted to know how things were here. "I will be leaving in a while" She said and Sonia sighed deeply before leaving... Juli "You don't know how lucky you are... I would be delighted to work from home" Lana said when Sonia was gone...
