"Has he remembered everything?" a man said in a low voice... He had a black hat on, and his head was hung a bit low as he spoke... "No, I don't think so," Michelle said to the man, her eyes filled with pure worry... Her eyes kept scanning the area she was in. Her entire body was filled up with goosebumps as she stood there. it was a chilly night, and they both stood outside talking... The man sighed deeply and turned to look at her... "I promise there is no way he can remember what happened," She said in a firm tone... The man remained silent for a few seconds before he nodded...
"Did you come alone like I asked you to?" Michelle scoffed and rolled her eyes at the man...
"Why are you asking me all this questions, when have I ever come here with someone. I'm not crazy!" She said in a slightly raised voice because of how agitated she had become... "Don't raise your voice at me... you and me both know I'm just being careful. " The man retorted, and Michelle glared at him....
She sighed deeply and shook her head... "He still hates me, but I see him most times... if only that didn't happen, my son wouldn't hate me, " She said to the man... a smile appeared on the man's face, and he took a step closer to her. "He would have hated you either way. You are not hard to hate, do you know that... There is no use crying over spilt milk. What you should be worried about is him regaining his memories, or would you like to tell him what happened to yourself? stop with the victim card, Michelle. " His words went straight to Michelle's heart like a sharp dagger, and she looked away from him when her eyes welled up with tears...
"If he ever finds out, you and me are done," the man said in an icy voice before walking off, leaving Michelle standing in the cold all alone... Michelle let out the deepest sigh of relief as she walked the man walk off. Her hand was fisted as she started to walk in the opposite direction... Her eyes welled up with tears, but she blinked the tears back... She knew a lie couldn't last forever... it would one day come to an abrupt end, but Michelle wanted for that day never to come...
She looked around one last time before getting into her car... her heart filled with fear of what would happen in the future...
If only she didn't make that decision that night all those years ago, then her life wouldn't be this way. Just a spur of the moment was almost ruining her life, and now she had to live each passing day in fear of the truth coming to light.
That was Michelle's greatest fear... But she had a strange lingering feeling that her fear would come to pass sooner than she knew... it tormented her...

"Isn't that Alex?" Juliet turned to see where the muffled whispers were coming from... it was Alex turn to choose where they were going to have lunch and he had taken her a High end restaurant that she knew but had never had the liberty of going into because everyone knew it was for the upper class... She had told him they didn't have to eat there because she felt a bit uncomfortable about the bill, but Alex insisted, telling her not to worry... Juliet knew at the back of her mind the bill was nothing to him, so she stopped complaining...
But now that they were seated and halfway through their lunch, she could hear a voice coming from behind her... They were talking about her and Alex...
Two beautiful ladies were seated a few seats away from Alex and juliet, and one of the ladies immediately looked away immediately her eyes met with hers... The lady had a curious look on her face... "Are you alright?" Alex asked, and juliet turned to look back at him... She nodded and smiled at him... she wondered who they were... Alex didn't look like he knew who they were, and he didn't seem to have heard them like she did... "Can we leave after you are done... it's getting a bit late, " Juliet said to Alex in a low voice... she could feel their curious gazes piercing through back, and it made her really uncomfortable...
"Yes, we can. is something the matter, " Alex asked. He had noticed how uncomfortable she had suddenly become... "I'm fine. I'm just a bit tired," She lied, but Alex didn't buy the lie... His attention was mostly on juliet. This made him notice any little detail about her... She kept looking back and then smiling, nervous at him...
His eyes travelled behind juliet and landed on the two ladies that were seated behind her... One of them had a mocking smile on her face and was whispering something to the second lady, her eyes on juliet... The second lady chuckled, and Alex felt his anger slowly rise up...
"Yes, we should go if you are tired," He said and stood up... Juliet picked up her bag, ready to leave... Alex walked around the table and took her hand in his... His eyes on the two ladies who couldn't mind their freaking business... Juliet tried to pry her hand from his, but Alex didn't let her... She could see the looks of surpise on both ladies face as they walked by them, and Alex said out loud, "Sweetheart!" So they could hear... One of the ladies looked like she couldn't be what she was seeing. She glared at juliet and scoffed as they walked by...
Alex stopped walking, and his gaze became intense... a frown Had settled on his face now... "Alex," Juliet said, his name softly... but Alex was mad already...
He turned around, his hand still intertwined with Juliet and he started to walk towards were both ladies were seated... Juliet didn't like the turn this was suddenly taking...
