"Drop me off here," Gina said to Charles when they arrived in front of her boutique... she had wanted him to drop her along the way, but this man was way too persistent and wouldn't stop the car till she told him where her boutique was... "GINA'S PLACE..." Charles said when they arrived... "You must own the place then..
was that why you accused me of blackmailing you? " Charles added, and Gina wished he would just shut his mouth... she was already embarrassed enough as it was... She unstrapped her seatbelt and came out of the car, and Charles came out also... "I'm Charles," He said, causing Gina to stop in her tracks... "My name is Charles... I know your name, so I thought you should know mine. "
"I didn't want to know... it would be better if you didn't tell me... I hope we don't ever cross paths again, " Gina said to him and glared before walking off... while Charles had a smile on his face... oh, they were definitely going to cross paths... he was going to make sure of that... He entered back into his car and was about to start his car engine when his eyes caught a glimpse of something in the passenger side...
He shook his head when he saw that Gina had left her bag in his car... they were going to cross paths again, and it hadn't even been five minutes... he picked up her bag and immediately went after her... she was already entering her boutique and her had to go in...
"Gina!" He called out to her, and she turned to look at him... The look on her face immediately made him aware that she was not pleased to see him at all... He seemed not to only gain her attention but everyone else... There were about five people present and they were all staring at him before they stopped...
Gina was already in front of him by the time he turned to look back at him... before he could tell her that she had left her bag in his car, she took his hand and was leading him away. Charles didn't complain and let her do what She wanted... he didn't care as long as he could stay longer with her...
she led him to an office before she finally let go of his hand... "What are you doing in here... I thought I told you we shouldn't cross paths anymore... what are you trying to pull!" She spat out angrily... but Charles wasn't a bit phased by her outburst. he was trying his best not to laugh or smile because he knew it would only make her more mad than she already was...
"I know you said that, but I thought you would need this," He said and carried his hand up to show her her bag... Gina anger immediately dissipated, and she grabbed the bag from his hand... "A thank you is what you should be saying Gina" .
"Stop calling me that," Gina said in a low voice... "What else am I supposed to call you. isn't that your name? " Charles said, and Gina cleared her throat... why did she have to meet such a person today... her luck was really terrible... "You can leave now since I've gotten my bag back,"
"I should," Charles said and stared at her for a few seconds before Turing to leave, but he stopped by the entrance of her office... he turned to look at Gina, and his expression had softened. "What again? what else do you want to say? " Gina said to him, and he smiled tenderly at her...
"You can come to my bar anytime you can... Don't let your problems overwhelm you..." He said in a soft voice, and Gina couldn't say anything but only could stare at him as he walked back to her... he took a card and dropped it on her table... "Just give them this, and you can have a private room to yourself... no one would be able to see you, then you would never get blackmailed... and make sure to call a taxi if you know you know you will be drinking alone like today... not everyone is me, " Charles added and turned to leave finally this time...
Gina stood there and watched him leave... her heart racing her chest... she stood there for almost a minute before she turned to look at the card he dropped on her table... she picked up the card... It was like a VIP card...
"Charles," She muttered his name... Why did he care what she did... why was he so nice... Gina admitted what she didn't want to admit from the very beginning... she gave her head a little shake and cleared her throat..
it wasn't like she would go to his bar... there was no way she was going to go back there...

"Thank you," Lana said after they were done with their shopping... thankfully, they didn't spend up to two hours, and Juliet was happy about that... she got a few dresses even though lana had urged her to buy more and made her choose a pair of shoes with it...
"Wow, I can't believe we got all this for that price.... thank you for coming with me, Julie...I would have been bored alone, " lana said, and Juliet smiled at her...
"I should be thanking you and your aunt... I have what to wear to my date and...." Juliet immediately stopped talking when she realised she had mentioned a date...
"You are going on a date!" Lana said, and juliet smiled nervously...
"Yes... this Saturday, " She answered....
"Is it a blind date?" Lana asked as juliet waved down a taxi for lana... they were going opposite ways...
"No, he is my boyfriend," Juliet responded, and lana looked completely surprised... there was a lot she didn't know about juliet... she was about to ask more questions, but juliet had stopped a taxi for her already...
"You should get going... I had a great time today, lana. thanks, " Juliet said, and lana nodded. She got into the taxi and waved at Juliet as the taxi drove off, and it wasn't until she couldn't see juliet again that it finally came to her...
"I remember now!" She said... she finally remembered who the woman she had seen at the boutique was... It was one of the women who came looking for Juliet the other day... but it was odd... did juliet really not know who they were...
juliet had seen her too at the boutique but didn't have any reaction... Lana was curious about it...
