"Good morning," Alex said and wrapped his hand around Juliet's waist and pulled her closer to him... he rested his head on her shoulder and sighed deeply. "When did you get out of bed?" he asked; he had woken up to an empty bed and had gotten up Immediately to find her, but just before he could leave the room. He saw that the balcony door was open and there she was standing in silence... she hadn't even noticed his presence till he touched her and it made Alex wonder what she had been standing there thinking intently about... "A few minutes ago, I didn't want to wake you; you came in front of work late last night; you should get some more sleep. It's still early. I will wake you up later" Juliet said and turned to look at Alex... he was staring at her like he had something to ask, but he was contemplating if he should ask or not. "Is something going on with you?" Alex asked and Juliet knew she would be lying if she told him she was fine... she was far from fine and the letter her mother had left for her had been weighing heavily on her mind even though she didn't want to think about it, it still found some way to pop up in her mind. she knew she wouldn't be at peace till she did what her mother asked. "My mother wrote an address in the letter she left behind for me,", Juliet said, not able to keep her worries to herself anymore...
" A letter?" Alex asked, and she nodded... " She didn't give any more information but asked me to visit there if I wanted the answer to my question" Juliet sighed deeply because she knew the exact question her mother was referring to. A question she had asked once and had never asked again after that one time...
"I don't want to think or worry about it, but no matter how much I try to push it to the back of my mind, the thought wouldn't go away. To be honest, I'm curious but scared of what I might find out," Julie,t explained, and Al, ex, nodded. He had no idea she had been keeping all this to herself the whole time... he knew she didn't want to tell him because she didn't want to trouble him, but Alex wanted her to know that it was no trouble to him and she could confide in him anytime she needed and wanted to...
"How about we go there to see..." Alex suggested, Juliet's eyes became filled with uncertainty and nervousness... "You can never say, it's okay to be curious, Julie, it's only natural for you to be... I will come with you, you don't have to worry and if the thing starts to feel too much for you let me know immediately we can leave if you find it uncomfortable" Alex said and Juliet nodded... she was more than glad that she had someone by her side that she could rely on and talk to when she felt this way...

"I think it's at the end of the block," Juliet said when they had taken another turn but still had not found the address they were searching for... Alex made a u turn and followed Juliet's instructions and after driving around for a few minutes they finally arrived at the block that she was referring to...
..
"Are you sure you want to do this" Alex asked when they arrived and juliet nodded... she wanted closure and wanted to close this chapter of her life so she could move on to the next chapter with Alex... she and Alex got out of the car and she held his hand as they walked to the front door of them small house... The house looked really old and looked like it had been around for so many years... Alex raised his hand and pressed the very old doorbell of the house. they both waited and waited and more than a minute had passed but they hadn't gotten an answer... Alex was about to press the doorbell once again but was stopped before he could when the old wooden door of the house was pushed open to reveal an old woman. she had frown on her face and looked like they had disturbed her peace... "What do you want" The old woman said irritably and the couple exchanged looks before juliet reached into her bag and brought out a picture of her mother when she was a young woman... "We are sorry for disturbing you ma'am, but we were wondering if we could ask you a few questions if you don't mind" juliet said as politely as ever, hoping she wouldn't get more on the older woman's never. the woman's eyes travelled from juliet to Alex before she finally responded "I do mind... I have no idea who the both of you are but you want to ask me questions? I think it's time for you to leave" The woman said and was about to walk back inside her house and close the door in front of the unwanted visitors that had showed up in front of her house demanding she answered some of questions... the sight of the annoyed her bur before she could leave juliet raised the picture of her mother so the old woman could see and immediately the woman set her eyes on the picture, her eyes grew completely wide I surpisse like she had been a ghost or something and this reaction didn't miss Alex and Juliet's eyes. they Knew the woman definitely recognise her mother in the picture even if she might try to deny it... "Do you know who she is" Juliet asked and the old woman's eyes travelled from the picture to juliet. "Who are you and why are you asking me about her" The old woman asked.. "She is my mother" juliet answered and watched as the woman became completely shocked once again by her revelation...
