Alex walked away from her house with a bright smile on his face... he couldn't hold back his smile as he walked down her block... the happiness he felt was surreal... she had Been in his arms... He had felt her warmth, her scent... he wanted to hold her in his arms forever... His heart raced as he arrived at the busstop... and he hailed down a taxi... He phone started to ring in his pocket as he got into the taxi... They were looking for him at work already... The smile on his face dimmed a bit and he sighed deeply... He wished he could spend the whole day with her without any disturbance... The weekend was just two days away... He would make sure to take her on a date and while on the date he was going to switch off his phone so no one would disturb their peace... He was already thinking about places he could take her to... But he would ask her where she wanted to go to too... all he wanted was to spend time with her... "Thank you" He said to the taxi drive when he stopped at his office... "Sir where have you been" Patrick said when Alex walked to his office... "Get me a sandwich I'm starving" Alex answered him... Patrick glanced at Olivia who looked as curious and confused as he was.... They were expecting Alex to be in a irritable mood after the surpise visit from his mother, but he was in a really good mood,they could tell... "I should order the sandwich" Olivia said and picked up her phone... "Where did he go off too without taking his car" Patrick muttered... Patrick walked hurriedly to Alex office when they sandwich arrived... "Sir we could have lunch outside if you are hungry... you Don't need to eat this" Patrick said as he dropped the sandwich and canned orange juice in Alex table... "Thank you" Alex said and smiled at him.... "You and Olivia can have lunch together I'm okay with this... I have a pile of work to take care of and a meeting to attend in..." He glanced at his watch "Twenty minutes, I can go on my own" Alex wondered if Patrick thought of him as a child sometimes, because he was definitely treating him one and it made him a little annoyed sometimes... "Have you heard back from Mr wilson, it's been days already" He asked Patrick... "Not yet sir... He is supposed to show up tomorrow, but I am not sure if he is going to" Alex sighed deeply and folded his hand... "Is someone trying to steal him from us" He muttered, Mr Wilson was one of their best suppliers and everything with him always went smoothly, but lately he had been acting strange... "While don't you find that out Patrick, while I go on the meeting alone" "But sir, you can go to the meeting yourself, I can asked Olivia to follow you" Patrick urged... "Why can't I go there myself?" He questioned and Patrick stared at Alex like a cat caught his tongue... "Well sir..." Patrick started "You can do as you wish sir, I will leave you to your lunch" Alex shook his head as Patrick walked out of his office... Alex picked up his phone and sent a message to Juliet,but he didn't get an immediate reply... He picked up his sandwich and ate from it, thankfully this wasn't tasteless like the last one he had ate the other time... He stopped eating a smile appeared on his face when Juliet's face popped up in his head... he had to concentrate on work, but it was hard to do so when he kept constantly thinking about her... he loosened the first Button of his shirt and sighed deeply, when the vivid image of her lips popped up in his head...he let out a deep breath and picked up his orange juice.... The whole room suddenly started to feel so hot... And the image kept popping up over and over again... Alex knew he was in trouble now... He was out of his office in twenty minutes and Patrick was no where to be found... but Olivia was still seated... "Patrick asked me to follow you to your meeting sir" She said When she saw Alex and he sighed... Was why Patrick so stubborn and always did his mind... he didn't even have time to argue... "And where is he?" "I don't known sir, but he told me he would be back soon" She answered. Alex glanced at his watch before looking back at her... "Let's go then" He said and started to walk away towards the elevator... Olivia quickly followed after him, in the four years that she had worked Alex was completely different from the bosses she had worked for in the past... He was a bit more accommodating and made the work area less suffocating... He wasn't a boss who someone was overly afraid of... sometimes he ans Patrick even seemed like friends.... she smiled as shs stood behind him... He might look tough on the outside, but he was a truly nice person who couldn't ignore someone In need... "Sir" Olivia tapped his arm, when Alex got completely distracted in the meeting...He looked up at her and then at the director who was coordinating the meeting and smiled slightly... "Carry on" He said and they continued, but it was hard for him to put his mind on what they were saying because he was staring at his phone and waiting for a reply to the message he had sent to juliet... "We should end the meeting here for today!" He said and stood up abruptly when his phone vibrated in his hand... "Sir!" Olivia went after him, unsure of his sudden behaviour... "You can go on your lunch break too Olivia, I'm sure you didn't have lunch yet" He walked off leaving her standing a smile appeared on Olivia face and she wondered who had captured Alex attention...
