Alex was a bit curious about this, Mrs Flicher, now... What was her deal with Juliet, and why wouldn't she just mind her business. Thankfully, his warning to Claudia seemed to have worked. She didn't show up anymore... Maybe he needed to give this 'Mrs Flicher a warning too. "What offer did she make to you?" Alex asked again, and juliet looked hesitant to answer his question... "it isn't anything serious, don't worry about it..." Juliet trailed off because she almost blurted out her plans of moving away that she hadn't quite decided on yet... "Would you like a glass of water..." She said and quickly walked away towards her kitchen to avoid any more questions from Alex... Alex slowly walked after her and stood at the entrance of the kitchen, his eyes on Her as she poured him a glass of water... Juliet could feel his piercing gaze on her body, and she swallowed... and raised her eyes to look at him... Their eyes met, and she immediately looked away..... Her cheeks had started to Heat, and her heart started to palpitate really fast in her chest... She brought the glass of water to her mouth and drank it's contents hoping it would calm her nerves... why did he keep staring! she almost yelled out... "I thought that was meant for me," Alex said in a low voice, his eyes trailing for her eyes to her nose and then...her lips... Her eyes grew slightly wide when she realised what she had done because of how nervous she had grown... "Oh my! sorry... I will get you another glass, " She said and turned away to look for another glass. A slight smile appeared on Alex's face, and he walked fully into her kitchen... He could tell that she had become nervous... She always was anything they were alone in her house, and the truth was he was nervous too. she made him nervous... he stopped a few feet away from where she was standing and smiled... "I should probably get going, it's almost evening" He said and she turned to look at him, she didn't look like she wanted him to go and at the same time she was nervous about him staying... "Already?" She blurted out, and he almost chuckled... "Do you want me to stay?" He asked, and she slowly nodded. "I want to stay too, but you look really nervous right now and I have reasons to believe I am the cause of that nervousness" He took another step towards her and she subconsciously took a step back away from him... "This is what I'm talking about," Alex muttered, his eyes finding it hard to stray away from her beautiful lips that he wanted to taste so badly... he could already picture kissing her in his mind, and the imagination alone was slowly driving him senile... she was just too beautiful in his eyes that he couldn't keep away. "I'm not nervous." Juliet finally found her voice to speak... she had no idea that it was that obvious that she was nervous, mainly because it was only the two of them in the house and she kept thinking about that one time he had touched her and she had reacted that way... Was he going to touch her again like that... or kiss her... thoughts like that kept popping up in her mind, and she was a bit afraid that she would react like that again... "I think you are..." Alex said in a low voice and took two steps closer to her, but juliet tried not to take a step away from him to prove to him that she wasn't nervous, even though she was a nervous wreck... Her chest heaved as he hand slowly travelled to her face... she knew his eyes were on her lips, and that was what made her even more nervous... "Are you sure you aren't nervous?" He whispered and took another step closer to her. This time, he was so close that she could feel his breath caressing her skin... his lips close to hers... "Yes," She replied in a voice barely above a whispers, as he inched closer to her.... his lips closed to hers than ever, just any more closer, and their lips would have met.... Alex slowly raised his beautiful green eyes to look into her mesmerising eyes that were filled with so many emotions... A smile slowly graced his face, and his hand reached behind her back to pick up the glass... "I need some water," He said and moved away from juliet, leaving her completely flustered... she fisted her hand and swallowed... her chest still heaving because of the adrenaline rush he had put her through just a few seconds before... Her face was flaming hot, and she had to turn away to catch her breath... How could he look so fine when she was such a mess... Why did he leave her hanging like that, even if it was just a peck on the cheeks.... she brought her palm to her face and touched her red cheeks... Juliet swallowed and turned to look at her Alex.. her heart racing in her chest... "You should stay for dinner," She said in a low voice... Her whole body trembling a little... he raised his eyes to look at her and shook his head... The way he looked at her made tingles course through her entire body... it made the butterflies in her belly go berserk... The look in his eyes made her want to run into his arms and kiss him... she fisted her hand beside her and swallowed again... "I don't think that is such a good idea." Alex breathed out and dropped the glass in his hand... he had only meant to tease her a little, but now his whole body was on high because of her... His heart was racing too fast, and the look in her eyes made him want to kiss her till she was breathless... ... "Why isn't it a good idea?" She replied....
