Patrick rode his car into a small parking lot that was close to a small cobblers shop... he had tried to find out more about Glenda, which was the real name of alex's nanny, but it was hard to find anything about her, but this cobblers shoo came up multiple times in his shop.. from what the private investigator he had hired told him. The owner of the cobblers shop was her last known relative... he sighed deeply and got out of his car. his eyes scanned the area that he was in, and he was a run-down area of town... the shops around looked really old and a few was even abandoned... he walked over to the cobblers shop and as he pushed the door open the bell at the top of the door made a noise... "Hello," Patrick said as he walked into the shop, which was empty... no one was at the counter, but he could see some abandoned shoes like someone had been working on them but decided to leave it halfway... "Hello!" He said in a louder voice but didn't get a response... patrick stood there for a few more seconds and was about to call out one more time when he heard a deep voice come from the back of the shop... "What do you want?" An old man who looked to he in his late sixties walked out from the back room.. his hair was fully grey, and he was a petite man with a walking stick... even with his petite stature, he looked tougher than a nail... "Are you Mr Reynolds?" Patrick asked, and the man immediately became suspicious... he squinted his eyes at Patrick and walked fully into the room... it was then that Patrick noticed the hammer the old man was holding firmly in his right hand... "Why are you here, you haven't answered my question" the man asked again and Patrick could sense the old man was slowly getting irritated by the tone of his voice and what he wanted the most was not to get on the bad side of this man when he needed some information... "I mean no harm, sir. I only came to ask you a few questions." Patrick tried to talk to him calmly, but the man just grumbled and walked slowly to his working chair... he sat down and picked up one of the abandoned shoes and continued his work... "I only answer questions related to shoes... does your shoe need fixing? " the man said, and Patrick almost sighed out exasperatedly.... this was harder than he had thought maybe if alex had come with him, it might be less challenging, but he didn't want alex to become upset if he heard something that could trigger his panic attacks... "Would you be willing to answer a few questions about Glenda then?" Patrick said, and the man completely froze immediately he heard that man... "Who the hell are you! and why are you asking about Glenda? " The man spat out in anger, and Patrick immediately took a step back... "Like I said before, I mean no harm, and why I'm here may benefit you too..."

"So you are trying to find out what happened to my sister," Mr Reynolds asked, and Patrick nodded... Mr Reynolds gestured for Patrick to take a seat, and Patrick did as he was told... he did as he was told and then brought out the picture of alex Father and Glenda when they were in high school... "Is this your sister?" He asked and pointed at Glenda, and the older man nodded... "This is me right here, I was younger than them," He said and pointed to a young boy who was standing next to Glenda... "they used to be so close when they were in high school, but when they graduated from high school they lost contact for a while and when they finally reunited he was married and my sister was devatsed..." He said and shook his head, a sad glint passed through his eyes...
"Glenda told me that he fredrick was unhappy in his marriage she told me it was a marriage of convenience that he was forced into by his family and that he wanted to hey divorced from his wife, but i told her not to get involved" Patrick sat their taking in all the information and processing it....
"I told her to stay away from him when I heard he had a kid with his wife, I didn't want my sister to be labelled as an home wrecker, but what else could I do... she was stubborn and wouldn't listen... she had become an old spinster waiting for a man who could never be hers and I couldn't convince her about it. " Patrick sighed deeply as he started to put all the pieces together...
"Did you know she worked for him as a nanny for his son?" Patrick asked, and Mr. Reynolds nodded... "Yes, I did." He asked her to do it. He only used the nanny job as a font of what he really wanted"
"What did he want?" Patrick asked, growing more curious... the more he found out the more shocking it was and the more curious he grew
"I don't know if I should be telling you this, but one of the reasons he wanted to divorce his wife was because he thought she was having an affair, but he didn't have any evidence against her... so he asked my sister for help... he wanted her to become close with his wife and watch her every move when he wasn't home, and my sister agreed to it... this was her one chance to get with the man she wanted..."
Patrick was completely appalled by this information. It was far more complicated and shocking than he had imagined, and what Mr Reynolds said shocked him even further...
"She agreed to do it and then she was going to run away with the kid to keep his wife for taking him away with her..."
