"Is this right?" Juliet said to herself after she applied her eye liner... she got up from her chair and leaned closer to her mirror... "it's not the same," She muttered and took out more wipes... she cleaned everything and started all over for the third time... Her mom or Florence were the ones who helped her with her makeup when it was needed... she had no idea what she was doing, and she was slowly getting pissed off at her own self... "That does it!" Juliet snapped at herself and dropped the eye liner... she sighed deeply, and she walked to her bathroom so she could wash her entire face... She still had about two hours left before Alex showed up, and knowing how he showed up sometimes, she had a feeling he might show up earlier... she left her room and decided to make herself a cup of tea before she continued with her disastrous makeup which she was already thinking of giving up on...maybe a some lips gloss and mascara was enough, they didn't require more work like the rest... went back to her room to put the dress she had gotten from the boutique... It was a beautiful Floral Print Mini Dress with an allover floral print, partial lining, surplice neck, short sleeve... she fell in love with the dress as soon as she saw it... She did a twirl in front of her mirror, and she was satisfied with the look. for the first time that night, a smile appeared on her face... her hair was next... Juliet was able to get her hair under control in time, thankfully, and less than thirty minutes before Alex knocked on her door, she was ready to go... Her bag was placed on her kitchen counter... she drew in a dep breath before she opened her door for him... "Hi," she said as soon as she saw Alex, and her face became flushed when she saw his eyes lit up... "You look stunning," He said to her, and she couldn't hold back her smile... she was definitely right about the dress... Alex walked into her house and gave her a warm hug, taking her by surpise... She was still getting used to his hugs and kissed, but she doubted she would ever be used to it... just being in close proximity with him or hearing his voice only made her heart a beating mess... She swallowed when he leaned down and planted a kiss on her cheek instead of her lips... she was expecting her lips but... When he broke the hug, she finally could breathe normally again... "Are you ready to go?" Alex said, asked... juliet turned to look at him and nodded... "Let me grab my bag," She said and walked away to her kitchen... she remembered telling lana she was going on a date with her boyfriend... it still felt weird to refer to him as that... she didn't go to work the next day after shopping with lana and she was spared from so many questions... Juliet left her kitchen and came back to see Alex waiting there for her... "We can go now," She said, and he nodded... He took her hand just as she was about to walk past him, and her heart rate increased again... "I should lock my door," She said when they were outside, and he still held her hand... "Alex finally released her hand but stood beside her as she locked her door before he took her hand again... Did he like holding hands because she did... He opened the car door for her and she thanked... They were soon on the road heading out, but juliet had no idea where they were heading to... "Where are we going to?" She asked Alex and turned to look at him... Alex, who had missed her like crazy for the last two days, was just happy to be beside her once again.. he felt like he coulf finally breathed fresh air again when he was around her... "Do you want to see a movie... " He answered... he had made a little research during a little break he had, and he read that most people loved to go to the movies during their dates... It was something he had never done before... His past relationships weren't filled with romance... it was more like an exchange between two people, and he doubted if it could even be seen as a relationship because he felt no shred of affection for them, and he was sure they didn't too... they just loved what they could get from him... "I would love to see a movie... I heard a new movie is out and I really wanted to see it..." Juliet immediately trailed off, and the smile on Alex face disappeared... what was wrong... "What movies do you like?" She asked, and the question seemed a bit hard for Alex... he couldn't remember the last time he watched a movie... maybe when he was in college... he couldn't even name one in his mind... "I like what you like," He replied, and juliet smiled, returned... "Do you even know what I like?" She said, and Alex nodded. "I like whatever you like... I know I will" "Okay, then I will pick the movie... then you can pick what we do after... what about that?" Juliet suggested, and Alex nodded in agreement... They arrived at the movie theatre a while later it wad filled up already... "I forgot today was a Saturday," Juliet muttered as they walked in... She saw a few couples pass by her and Alex... they were all holding hands... it made her glance at him. Why wasn't he holding her hand anymore... she wanted to hold hands with Him now... "Hold his hand," Juliet said to herself internally, but couldn't find the courage to do so till she chose the movie they were going to watch and bought popcorn and drinks... Was he ever going to make a move to hold her hand! she thought as they took a seat...
