"How was work?" Alex asked, breaking the silence between the both of them. A smile appeared on Juliet's face when he mentioned work. Her mood was just great today..."Really great, we have been having problems lately, but I think everything is going to be solved soon," Juliet said, and Alex nodded... he was glad to know that everything was working out well, like he had instructed Patrick to make sure of...The smile in her beautiful face warmed his heart... "How was your day?" She asked him, and he nodded. "My day was like every other day," he answered. His day was filled with work and boring, but once he saw her, he forgot all about that... "I was looking forward to seeing you all day... my day feels complete now, " He added, and Juliet face immediately became flushed... How could he say something like that so easily and make her feel this way.... The butterflies in her tummy seemed to. He delighted and started their back flips, and she bit her lips so he wouldn't see her smile... She glanced at him, and their eyes met... he was looking right at her. why was he staring at her that way.... were his eyes always this beautiful... she definitely had a crush on him, and it was slowly developing into something else... Why did he keep showing up everyday, why did he say such words to her so easily... Did he feel the same way, too, or was he just toying with her... she turned to look at him again and he smiled at her... Even his smile was stunning... she knew nothing about him, he could be anything, but she didn't care right now... her heart was beating so fast because of him, and she wished he would ask her out to dinner and, this time, stay... with nothing interuppting them. Not a sad dinner like when he cams to her house... but a date... she wanted him to ask her out on a date... The smile on Juliet's face fluttered when her eyes landed on someone. stopped her in tracks abruptly, causing Alex to become confused... "What's wrong?" He asked and followed her gaze... Her aunt was standing across the road from where both of them were standing... "Let's go," Alex said and tried to take her hand, but Juliet shook her head. the more she kept trying to avoid her aunt, the more she would keep showing up. She knew how persistent her aunt was... "i need to speak with her," She said, and Alex wasn't so sure about that. the last time the both of them were together... "Do you want me to come with you?" He asked, and juliet shook her head. She was going to be fine on her own, she hoped. she wasn't going to let her aunt have her way and smack her like last time...she had shocked her the last time and juliet was going to shock her this time if she tried anything crazy or stupid. She was about to cross the road, but Alex held her hand, stopping her. he couldn't leave her on her own with this crazy woman... "I will be nearby," He said, and juliet felt assured and nodded... She crossed the road to the other side, and Alex did the same also, but kept a reasonable distance between them.He didn't want to eavesdrop, but he also wanted to make sure she was fine... He wondered why he wasn't informed that her aunt was still hovering around... if she kept this up, then he had to intervene and make sure she didn't trouble juliet anymore... "Why are you still here?" Juliet said coldly to her aunt, who had her eyes on Alex and not her niece... "Do I need your permission to be here? I have ever right to be wherever I want to be," Claudia answered, and Juliet felt her blood Boil... "Is he your boyfriend...he seemed pretty fiesty, why does he keep glaring at me" Claudia said and waved at Alex, trying to show him that she wasn't intimidated by him even though she was... "Your neighbours seem very nosy... they even told me where you live, " She added, and Juliet almost cursed under her breath... She knew that it was Mrs Flicher's doing. she never minded her damn and loved being nosy. it gave her a topic to gossip about each day... "And... what if you know where I live... what does that have to do with me.if you ever try anything stupid, I'm calling the police on you, " Juliet threatened, and Claudia chuckled... "Do you think that or your boyfriend will stop me?" She said boldly and shook her head. "Your cousin is in jail, and I need to bail him out soon, so just give me what I'm asking for nicely, and I will leave you alone in peace. I don't want to be here either... do you think I have nothing better to do? " She said, and Juliet scoffed... Shs couldn't believe the guts of this woman.... Claudia walked off after saying what she wanted to say, and Juliet just stood their watching her crazy aunt walk away... what could she do to get her off her back... Alex walked to where juliet and she turned to look at him... "Are you alright?" He asked, and she nodded... Her day was going great, and Claudia just had to show up and ruin everything... Now she just wants to go home, take a shower, and lay down... Alex walked her to her house, and she was silent the whole way there... Her head was spinning... Alex continued to glance at her and hated that her aunt showed up to ruin her good mood. he knew she was her aunt, but he disliked people like that... " Thank you for walking me home." .she said to him when they got to her house and he nodded. "You should get some rest," He said and watched as she entered her house... Maybe they could have their date another day... "
