Gina sat in her car, trying to calm her nerves... "Send me his f*cking location right now!" She yelled at the private investigator she had hired over the phone... The last few days had been beyond unsettling for her, and she had been scared that Alex would approach her father... She couldn't take it anymore, she was angry and frustrated now... "But ma'am..." The private investigator started, but she caught him off... "Shut the hell up, do you want your money or not! whatever I do is none of your business!" Gina yelled at him... she was going to lose it if he was anywhere around that 'Juliet!' While she was in such a state... if he was just fooling around with her she didn't care about that, what she was mad about was the fact that he didn't want to have anything to do to her after she had planned out her life in her head with him... She had to start afresh! "Why can't you just fool around with her and then be with me? I need you, " Gina muttered. Her father was never going to leave any shares to her if Alex humiliated her... She would be left with nothing! what if that alcoholic got more than she did... She gave her head a little shake, and her phone vibrated... Gina immediately checked the message and started her car engine... She got his location... She drove at a high speed out of her apartment complex and followed what had been sent to her... Her heart was racing the entire time... What if he proposed to Juliet! she would become a laughing stock because her employees have already started to spread gossip that Alex came to.her boutique... A gossip that she was okay with as long as it linked the both of them together... She drove into a different neighbourhood than the one she was used to... it wasn't High class or anything like that, but it was a nice neighbourhood but still out of Gina's league she immediately hated it there, because she had an inkling that someone that got on her nerves lived there... "B*stard!" She yelled in her car, trying to find Alex or juliet, her blood boiled as she drove her car round the block of the neighbourhood... What if someone recognises him here and picture the both of them together.. The thought alone made her stomach churn... she started to tug on her hair and felt that overwhelming anger in her that she had since childhood... She always flipped out when something she really wanted wasn't going her way, like when her father brought his new wife home... She had been furious and pushed one of the maids who got on her nerves down the stairs, which had been covered up by an accident by her father... She groaned in anger when she couldn't see Alex anywhere. She immediately picked up her phone and dialled the number of her P.I. again... "I can't find him anywhere here! where the hell is he!" She yelled at the top of her voice when he answered the call, and then her eyes sighted someone familiar just when she took a turn at a block... she ended the call and drove her car closer so she could get a better look at who it was... it was evening already and almost completely dark, but she immediately recognised Alex... and the person standing beside him! Gina saw red. she gripped the steering wheel of her car when she remembered how Alex had spoken to her because of this b*tch! and it only infuriated her the more... "I'm going to kill the both of you!" She screamed and pressed on her accelerator! ___________________ ____________________ "Who is it?" Juliet said in a low voice when she heard a knock on her front door.... She was afraid it was her aunt again... "It's me, Alex," but when she heard his voice, she sighed out in relief and immediately unlocked her door... A smile of relief immediately appeared on her face when she saw him... "Can I come in today too, or would you like to go on a late evening walk with me... the weather outside seems pretty nice..." Alex said to her, and juliet couldn't hold back a smile... "I prefer the walk," She said, and Alex nodded. "I will be right back. Let me grab my jacket." Juliet disappeared into her house and came back out a few minutes later, ready to go on a walk with the man who made her heart flutter... They both set out, both their heart fluttering as they started to walk out the block that led to the park, but not even a few minutes into their walk something unexpected happened... Juliet and Alex turned around when they saw a car flashing it's full light at them, and they took it as they should move away from the road, so they did just that, Alex dragged Juliet out of the way, and she gasped, her heart dropping when the car drove at a full speed towards where they were standing. They both fell to the ground because of this! Juliet trembling in fear, and the car came to a sudden halt... Alex turned to look at the car and immediately looked at the plate number before the car zoomed off like he drove and didn't try to run the both of them over! "Are you alright!" Alex asked, his eyes scanning juliet to make sure she was okay... He held Juliet's shoulder... she looked shaken up, but apart from that, she was fine... He turned and glanced at the car that had taken off at a high speed, after almost hitting Juliet... He helped Juliet up and held her close. Her entire body was trembling, and he had to hold her to make sure she didn't fall... Juliet body felt weak. The car had clearly tried to run into her, but thankfully, Alex was by her side and saved her. it would have turned out bad if he didn't... She tilted her head to look at him and sighed in relief... He saved her again... "We should go to the hospital," He said, and Juliet immediately shook her head... "I'm fine!" She said, but Alex ignored her words. He was furious and worried together... Who the hell was that! was it his mother again! no it couldn't be her, he knew his mother could be a pain in the a** but she would never take things this far when she knew it would only infuriate him and even if she did, not this way! Alex helped juliet walk till they got to his car, and instead of taking her to her house like she wanted, he helped her with her seat belt. Her eyes were on him as he walked around and entered the driver's seat... "I'm fine," She said again, to assure him, but he didn't look assured.... "Let a doctor check you please," He said, and Juliet sighed. he didn't look like he was going to listen to her, so she let him do what he wanted... He started his car engine and drove towards the hospital where he had taken her when she passed out... Her heart was still racing uncontrollably in her chest because of what happened. why would anybody try to do such a thing to her... The only person who had a grudge against her was her aunt. but she hadn't heard anything from her for days and concluded that she had finally given up, but juliet wasn't sure about that now.. She ran her hand through her hair and then held her trembling hand... Would her aunt really try to run her over with a car... "We should call the police," She said to Alex and turned to look at him....He had a really deep frown on his face but his eyes softened when he looked at her... "Don't worry, I will take care of that," He assured...
