"That would be all for today, we should all grab lunch it's my treat," Sonia said after a meeting with her employees and everyone's face immediately lit up... "What should we have for lunch?" Lana asked, all smiles, and Johnny shook his head... "My aunt told me about a really great restaurant at uptown... she even gave me a guest invite. " Sonai responded, and everyone couldn't be happier they decided to meet again in ten minutes... Johnny's eyes travelled from lana to juliet as they all walked out of the meeting room, except for a brief greeting early that day. Both ladies weren't really on speaking terms... and he could tell that lana was purposely trying to avoid juliet, while juliet looked like she didn't want to avoid her... it just made the atmosphere weird, and he wasn't the only one who seemed to notice it... "Are you going to keep avoiding juliet?" He whispered to lana as they walked back, lana stopped in her tracks and tilted her head to glare at her coworker. "I'm not avoiding her, I'm just trying to minf my business," Lana responded and looked towards juliet, who was speaking to one of the part timers... "There is no use explaining to you." Lana sighed deeply and walked away towards the bathroom... leaving Johnny further confused... "Thank you for explaining this to me," the part timer said to juliet. She nodded and smiled at her, and then she saw Johnny walking up to her... "Is everything alright between you and lana? I didn't want to be nosy, but I couldn't help but notice that the both of you aren't exactly on speaking terms? no coffee breaks?" Johnny asked, hoping juliet would shed more light on what was going on... "Everything is alright," Juliet assured, and Johnny nodded, not probbing any longer.... Juliet sighed deeply and ran her hand through her. She decided it was best if she confronted lans instead of avoiding each other... they worked together and couldn't possibly continue this forever... Lana was on her way out of the bathroom and stopped in her tracks when she saw juliet approaching her. She decided to walk past juliet, but juliet stopped her before she could... "I couldn't help but notice that something was wrong," juliet started.... "Oh," Lana replied... she turned to look at juliet and sighed... "I'm sorry for being nosy, I didn't mean too I was just worried about you..." Lana blurted out. She wasn't exactly mad. She was perhaps mad at herself for acting immature like Johnny had called her... A smile appeared on Juliet's face, and she shook her head. "You don't have to worry, lana. I'm fine. thank you for worrying about me, " Juliet said softly, and lana's face immediately lit up.... "Does this mean you will no longer avoid me then?" Juliet tried to confirm, and lana nodded... both women hugged it out... Johnny couldn't help but smile when he saw them coming back together... That was what he wanted to see... "Is everything good now?" He asked, and Juliet nodded while lana glared at him... her glaring at him was like something he looked forward to every single day... "We should get going already it's been over ten minutes... let's divide ourselves into two groups... then. some people can go with me and the rest with johnny, " Lana said when she came out of her office with her bag and jacket.... _________________ _________________ "Wow," Lana said as they walked into the beautiful five-star restaurant.... it was like a similar restaurant to the one Alex and juliet had gone to... "I'm sure the food here will be pretty expensive," Lana whispered to juliet as they were led to where their table was... Sonia was definitely in a pretty good mood... "I will be right back, i need to go to the bathroom" Juliet said when they were all seated and waiting for their food to arrive, lana nodded and watched juliet as she walked away, even though she coulf feel someone piercing gaze on her... "What are you looking at!" she said to jonnhy and he immediately loomed away... Lana face immediately became flushed and she cleared her throat... it didn't help that her heart suddenly started to race.... On her way back from the bathroom, juliet almost bumped into a beautiful lady and immediately apologised, but she stopped in her tracks after taking a few steps... "She is the one..." Juliet muttered under Her breath and turned to look at the lady who was walking away already... she recognised who the woman was. it was the woman who lana had told her about... "Wait! please excuse me, " Juliet said, stopping Gina in her tracks... Gina swallowed and fisted her hand. "Sh*t." She cursed her breath... she had recognised juliet, how could she not... how the hell did she know who she was! it was better if she acted like she didn't know her, Gina concluded.... she took a deep breath and steadied herself... she turned to look at juliet and acted like she was confused. "May I help you?" She asked, Juliet was expecting her to say something or perhaps recognise her, but now she was unsure if she was the right person... it didn't look like she knew her... "I'm sorry, I thought you were someone I know," Juliet said, and Gina nodded and quickly walked away... Her heart racing... Her mind immediately became plagued by the time she almost ran juliet down with her car, and she had been scared that she knew it was her, but it seemed like she wasn't aware... Thankfully... She sighed out in relief and held the wall for support... she had been so shocked when she saw her standing there... Gina had planned on walking out of there, but juliet had stopped her and almost gave her a heart attack... "I must have been crazy," She muttered under Her breath and ran her hand through her hair, ruffling it... she sighed again and took out her phone from her purse...
