"Why are you here!" Gina said in disbelief, her eyes wide in shock as She stared at the man that had plagued her mind for days... and then everything slowly started to fall into place not only for her but for Charles also... Charles couldn't believe what was happening... He should have known, her name was Gina, but she wasn't the only one who had that name he was sure a lot of people also had such a name so he didn't even think that they could be the same person... She was the same Gina which his aunt wanted Alex to marry, the same person his mother had been pressurising him to go on a date with. From the shocked look on her face, he could tell she had no idea about who she was meeting... She looked completely shocked and her face was flushed... Gina was still too stunned to speak a word... she felt beyond embarrassed and was finding it hard to process what was happening... while Charles got mad with each passing second... she had told him she was getting engaged, she had left him for him. No not him, but the person she was coming to meet, Caroline's son... "Are you going to keep standing?" Charles said and Gina swallowed... she turned to leave but turned back to look at him, she was completely disoriented... Gina ran her hand through her hair and tugged on it a little before taking a seat like he had asked her to. "Did you know who I was all this time?" she asked and Charles scoffed once again. He couldn't believe she was asking him that type of question... "Would I be here if I knew... you told me you were getting engaged... this is a surprise isn't it" Charles said, not breaking eye contact till Gina looked away... A part of her was stunned but another part of her had suddenly emerged and that part was called delighted... For once in her life Gina felt like things were finally going her way... Maybe her time had finally come... She tried her best not to smile to show how excited she had become... "I can't believe this" Charlie muttered, all this while he had been mad at himself... everything felt absurd to him and he knew any plans he had of getting over her were fooled now that she was sitting in front of him... she looked so beautiful as she avoided eye contact with him which made him more mad... Charles got up all of a sudden and Gina did the Same, her hand fisted beside her, she felt more than anxious as she waited for his next move... "I'm sorry but I can't do this... I know all about you and Alex" Charles said and Gina's heart dropped... "What" she said in a low voice, her heart quickening in fear... did he know that she almost ran Alex and his girlfriend over... Gina slowly started to fiddle with her fingers as fear started to slip into her heart. Fear that he would hate her because of what she had done... She regretted it every single day but wasn't bold enough to apologise to Juliet... "I'm sorry... I...I didn't mean to do that...I was just really mad... and before I knew it I..." Gina started to stutter as she tried to explain herself to Charles... "There is no use apologising, I'm not sure what my mother said to you that made you agree to this, but all I know is I don't want to be a part of this..." Charles said and started to walk away... Gina felt her heart break as he walked past her... Her whole body started to tremble and it took her about a minute to finally regain a bit of her composure... no she couldn't let him go like that... she had to explain everything to him maybe he would understand her... She picked up her bag and quickly walked after him, she rushed to the parking lot looking around trying to find his car, but couldn't... Gina ran her hand through her hair and sighed deeply... She rushed to her car and started the engine, driving to the only place she could think of where he could be... His bar... "Did I leave too fast" Charles muttered as he drove his car away towards his bar... he didn't want to go back home because his mother was there... and if she couldn't reach him then she would go over to his apartment that he never really stayed in... His bar was his only escape and had been an escape for her too but now everything was ruined... He sighed deeply when he stopped his car and came out... CJ was on his way out for his lunch break when Charles was approaching... "CJ where are you off to?" Charles asked and stopped in his tracks... "it's my lunch break sir" CJ answered, wondering why Charles was back... he had told them he wouldn't be returning till the following week and they could close earlier... but here he was looking down like had been a few days before... "Oh, I'm sorry for taking your time" Charles said and was about to walk away when he noticed CJ staring behind him with a smile on his face... "She is back" CJ muttered and Charles heard him... "Who is?" Charles said and turned to look at who it was that got CJ gaining and behold Gina was walking towards him with a determined look on her face... Why did she follow him, he didn't want to see her... he didn't want her to cloud his mind once again... "I should get going" CJ said, knowing he needed to give the couple some space... Charles was too smitten to even answer him or notice he was gone... his eyes were completely on the woman walking towards him... "Why are you here?" Charles said when Gina stood in front of him... He was the one asking that question now...
