The next day, Juliet got ready an hour before Gina was supposed to pick her up. It was Saturday, and Alex was home; he had an apple in his hand as he watched Juliet walk out of the house excitedly as she waited for Gina's call. He bit into the apple and stopped her just before she was about to walk right past him. "You look excited", he said, and Juliet nodded. "Yes, I am; she told me about Vance Delarusso", Juliet answered, and a look of confusion appeared on Alex's face because he had no idea who Vance Delarusso was and had never heard that name in his life. "Vance Delarusso," he repeated,d and Juliet nodded. "we are visiting his bridal house today... I can't wait to see what kind of wedding dresses he makes" Juliet said and walked away when she heard her phone ring... "wedding dresses" Alex muttered as he bit into his apple a smile appeared on his face as he fell into a daze and imagined juliet walking down the aisle towards him in a beautiful wedding dress... the imagination alone was enough to make him happy... he had to plan a proposal soon... he thought. First, he had to wait till Charles and Gina's wedding was over, then he could plan his proposal... Juliet walked back into the kitchen with her phone close to her ear as she spoke to someone, and Alex stood there biting into his apple and admiring how beautiful she was... "she is here" Juliet said when she ended the call. She walked to where Alex was standing and planted a brief kiss on his lips before leaving, Alex followed her to the front door and waved at her as she left. "have fun!" he said "I will" Juliet responded, but stopped right before she opened the front door, she turned to look at Alex and rushed back to where she was standing to plant another kiss on his lips and when she was she was done she wiped away the little lip gloss on his lips... "it's was there already and I thought I should add to it before wiping It off" Juliet said and the mist charming smile appeared on her boyfriend's face... he leaned closer and planted a soft kiss on her cheeks before she finally left.. "Hi!" she said, a bit excited and Juliet smiled Warmly when Juliet entered her car... juliet returned the smile and Gina started the car engine and drove towards the bridal house... she glanced at Juliet occasionally but didn't know what conversation to start or what to say so she turned on her car radio... it didn't make it better... the silence was a bit too much and like Juliet had been feeling the same way too, she finally said something breaking the silence between them. "I'm excited about this. I can't wait to see some beautiful wedding dresses" Juliet said excitedly and Gina nodded. "me too, I had a few in mind, but I'm not sure if I want them anymore" and lo and behold they found themselves engrossed in a conversation that soon led to another conversation about the design the wedding planner had chose and before they knew it they arrived at the bridal place... Gina parked her car in the parking lot and both of them walked to the entrance of the shop... two ladies were standing behind a counter when they walked in, and one of the ladies immediately approached them. Why the second last disappeared to another room. "Welcome, ma'am. We have been expecting you this way... Mr Delarusso is ready to attend to you," The lady who had a name tag, Margaret, said, and both women followed after her as she led them to a waiting room where they were asked to sit and asked what they would like to drink... Juliet asked for a cup of water while Gina asked for some coffee, and Margaret left to get this done... Juliet's eyes scanned around as they waited, there were a few wedding dresses in the room and she had also seen some when they walked in and, to be honest, she was already impressed by the designs even though they were just displayed dresses... the door to the room opened and a man walked in with the lady from before behind him... he was a petite man, but he wasn't too short... he looked to him in his mid-thirties and was dresses stylishly... was this Mr Delarusso? Juliet wondered and saw the serious look on his face disappear and was immediately replaced with a warm and excited smile. His eyes landed on Gina... "Gina!" he said excitedly and walked towards her and drew her into a warm embrace...Gina hugged him back and then wh when they broke the hug his eyes travelled to Juliet who was quiet the whole time... "This is my friend, her name is Juliet... Juliet, Vance Delarusso", Gina introduced, and Vance stretched out his hand towards Juliet for a handshake... Juliet took his hand and shook it. "Nice to meet you, sir" " she said, and Vance immediately waved his hand. "Vance or Delarusso is fine, sir, Makes me feel old" " he corrected, and Juliet nodded... "You seem to be a close friend to my dear friend here; it's the first time she is introducing anyone to me as her friend," Vance said and turned to look at the lady behind him. "Vivianne get it," he said and the lady immediately scurried away to do as she had Been told... juliet stood there staring at Vance in confusion and curiosity as she wondered what it was he had asked his lady name Vivianne to get... she came back a minute later with an envelope in her hand and Vance took the envelope from her and handed it to juliet. Juliet's eyes travelled from Vance to the envelope in his hands and then to Gina, who nodded for her to take what he was offering her... she did, and a bright smile appeared on Vance's face... "That is an invitation to my bridal place... you can come here anytime you want to get married for your wedding dress, just make sure you have the card with you" Vance said and Juliet's eyes slightly grew wide... they had only just met and he was offering her this... she had searched about him a bit before going to bed and it turned out that he was a big shot who had made a name in the bridal World... her eyes became filled with appreciation at his kindness... "Thank you,", She said, and he nodded... Gina was more than happy; she was a bit surprised when Vance handed the invitation to Juliet. It only meant that he liked her... He called his hands together excitedly and turned his attention back to the soon-to-be bride... "We should get started then," He said and gestured for his assistant to get the dresses he had picked out ready... she left and they all took a seat Gina went on to update Vance about her wedding and handed him an invitation which he immediately became excited about
