Chapter 68:I Will Break Him For You
"I'm very good, Charles; actually, your message was successfully delivered," Charles said to him with a sarcastic tone.

"Ooh, I'm happy to hear that. Actually, I meant no harm; I only wanted to tell you to stay away from my fiancee, but since you are a very famous person, I sent you the message in a way that you would understand it. I hope you didn't get hurt." Charles asked him while feigning to be concerned.
"Come on, Charles, do you think so low of me? How can I be hurt just by five men that you sent after me? You should have sent at least twenty men after me before asking me if I got a scratch?" Xavier said to him.
"Well, I'm fully aware of that, and that's why I sent only five because hurting you wasn't among my plans for now; I might plan that later. By the way, I hope you have seen the news." Charles asked him.
"What news?" Xavier asked him while feigning ignorance.
"Come on, what do you like giving me a hard time? I know that you are aware of the news I'm talking about; probably you have forgotten about it, but I will remind you of it. It's the news about me proposing to your ex-wife, and guess what? She accepted, so she's officially my fiancee, and soon we will be getting married," Charles said to Xavier.
"Wow, congratulations," Xavier said to him with an undisturbed tone.
"Come on, Xavier, why are you sounding as if you aren't affected by the news? I know well that you are affected, so feel free to spill out your anger and disappointment; I will gladly give you a listening ear," Charles said to Xavier with a mockery tone.
"To be sincere, my friend, I'm not affected nor disappointed by the news of you proposing to Sarah; the only news that will affect me is that you have gotten married to Sarah, but as long as you haven't gotten married to her, I don't see any reason to be affected," Xavier said to him.
"Well, have a little patience, my friend; it's just a matter of time. You see, the same way I made the proposal happen very fast is also the same way I'm going to make the marriage happen fast; you won't even see it coming; it will be like a dream to you. But for the meantime, stay away from Sarah; don't try framing her again," Charles said to Xavier.
"Well, with the way you are talking, one would think that you are really going to get married to her. But let me ask you this: Do you think that Sarah is going to get married to you after finding out who you really are?" Xavier asked Charles, and immediately he went mute for some seconds before replying.
"What? What are you talking about?" Charles asked Xavier, who smiled inwardly.
"Come on, Charles, don't play dumb with me; you know well what I'm talking about," Xavier said to Charles.
"Look, Xavier, I don't know what you are trying to do, but you better stop, and for your information, I don't know what you are talking about," Charles said to Xavier.
"Well, remember you told me earlier to have a little patience and that it's just a matter of time before you get married to Sarah? I will also tell you the same thing: just have a little patience. It's just a matter of time before I find out all your hidden secrets, and when I do, I won't hesitate to show them to the whole world, and I'm going to do that before you even think of getting married to Sarah. Don't worry, it's not a threat; it's a promise," Xavier said to him before hanging.
"What's the matter with Xavier? Why is he determined to stop you from getting married to Sarah?" Adrian, who was driving the car, asked Charles.
Actually, after the dinner with Sarah, Charles had followed her back home before calling Adrian to come and pick him up, and while he was waiting for Adrian, he had received a call from the old man who asked him to come over to his house.
"I don't have any idea; probably he still wants her back. But aside from that, he was talking like someone who knows about my secrets," Charles said to Adrian.
"I doubt he knows anything about you; if he knew, he would have already spilled it out to everyone; probably he's just trying to instill fear in you," Adrian said to Charles.
"I hope so, and from the perspective of things, he has started becoming a threat to me. I think I have to do something about him," Charles said to Adrian, who had already driven into the mansion of the old man.
"Well, no matter what you do, just be careful; Xavier is a silent devil, and you are perfectly aware of that," Adrian said to him before getting down from the car, and with that, Charles too got down, and they started heading inside.
"Welcome to my abroad Charles, you don't know how happy you have made me," the old man said to Charles once he came into the sitting room.
"It's my pleasure, sir," Charles said to him.
"To be sincere, you really surprised me. I thought you had lost all your skills, but you proved me wrong today. We need to celebrate this success of yours," the old man said to Charles.
"Please go and tell the waitresses to bring out all the expensive drinks I reserved for special occasions; I need to show my gratitude to Charles," the old man said to one of his bodyguards, who nodded before walking away.
"Well, since you have finally proposed to her, that means the marriage will be anytime soon, right?" The old man asked Charles.
"Yes, the marriage will be anytime soon, but I have a problem," Charles said to the old man, and immediately he furrowed his brows at him.
"What is the problem?" The old man asked him.
"The only problem I have is Xavier, her ex-husband; he's proving to be a threat to me," Charles said to the old man, and immediately he smiled.
"Don't worry about him; I will break him for you. In the meantime, concentrate on getting married to Sarah as soon as possible," the old man said to Charles with a wicked smirk.
