Chapter 130: Abduction Of Father And Daughter
Meanwhile, Sarah woke up some minutes later only to find herself lying down on a huge comfortable bed and in a well decorated room.
Once she woke up the memories of her being shot with a strange syringe and a walking towards her as she was passing out came back playing in her head and without hesitating she jolted up from the bed while panting heavily and at the same time she remembered about her uncle and without hesitating she rushed to the door to open it but found out that it was locked.
After twisting the handle of the door for some minutes, she started banging on it so that whoever was outside could hear it and just as expected, she heard the footsteps of someone walking towards the direction of the door and when the person got to the front of the door he stopped and with that she started hearing the sound of keys as the person was about to open the door.
Once the door bursted open Charles walked inside while looking fierce like never before and followed by him were two armed men, probably his bodyguards.
Since when Sarah knew him, this was her first time seeing him looking this fierce, probably because he always tried his best to look lovely whenever he was close to her. Aside from the fierce look on his face, he also had a sinister smile which made look like a psychopath.
"Hello sweetheart, how have you been?" Charles asked her once he got into the room.
"I'm not your sweetheart Charles, and where is my Dad?" Sarah asked him with a fierce.
"Your Dad is okay you don't need to worry about him," Charles said to him.
"I want to see him," Sarah said to him without showing any hint of fear and with that Charles looked at her for some minutes before heaving a sigh.
"Fine, bring her along," Charles ordered the two men who came into the room with him before walking out of the room and with that the men held Sarah and followed Charles from behind.
Getting to the front of a room, Charles opened it, and when the men brought Sarah closer, she was surprised to see her father in the room tied to a chair, his mouth also tied up. Once she saw how her father was tied up in the room, she tried running to him, but the men held her tightly not allowing her to make any single move.
"Please let him go, he is sick," Sarah pleaded with Charles who was had an indifferent look on his face as he was staring at her struggling to break free in order to go to her uncle and without even realizing it, hot tears started streaming down Sarah's face.
"Of course I will let him go, but under one condition," Charles said to her.
"What is it, just tell me whatever you want so that you will let my father go," Sarah said to him.
"Marry me," Charles said to her and immediately she froze.
"What?" She muttered in disbelief before looking at her uncle who shook his head negatively signaling her not to agree to his demand.
"You heard me right sweetheart, if you accept to get married to me and also leave this country with me I will let your father go," Charles said to her before walking closer to her and caressing her cheeks. "I know you loved me and I also loved you, if I didn't show up on our wedding day it's because of the old man, but now that I have gotten rid of him, we can finally leave happily without anyone disturbing us," Charles said to her with a convincing tone.
"And what will happen if I don't agree to get married to you," Sarah asked him while peering into his eyeballs and with that Charles scoffed at her before looking at Richard who was still tied up in the room.
"I will kill your father and let you go, and you will leaving the rest of your life in guilt knowing that he died because of you, so choose wisely," Charles said to her with a sinister smile.
"Okay I will get married to you, now let him go," Sarah said to Charles before looking at his father who was shaking her head negatively signaling her not to accept and with that hot tears streamed down her cheeks.
"Not so fast sweetheart, my jet will be ready very soon and we will be leaving together, once we leave, my men will let him go," Charles said to her before wiping away the tears on her face with his finger . "Take her back to her room," Charles said to the two men who immediately walking back to the room with her and with that Charles smirked at Richard who was still tied to the chair before locking the door and walking away.
Meanwhile Xavier had just gotten to the location sent to him by Ben only to find her car alone there. Getting down from his car, he rushed towards the car but there was no one inside, the only he saw inside was Elizabeth's bag. Without hesitating he quickly took his phone and placed a call across Ben who picked up after some minutes of ringing.
"Hello sir," Ben said to him after picking up.
"She's not here," Xavier said to him.
"What! But her phone signal is showing that she's there or did she leave without her phone?" Ben asked him.
"I don't think so, I have the feeling that something is wrong, if not, there's no way she will leave her car and bag in this lonely area, and what the hell brought her here at the first place?" Xavier asked in confusion.
"Have you found her phone, if yes, check the last person that called her," Ben said to Xavier and without hesitating he took her bag and poured out everything inside but didn't find any of her phones and with that she searched around inside the car but still didn't find it. Coming out from the car, he looked around the car only to find it on the ground covered by dust and without hesitating he quickly picked it up and swiped it open and happily there was no password. Going to her call logsw he saw that her last call was just an hour ago, and it was from an unknown number. Seeing all this, Xavier was further convinced that something was wrong and without hesitating he sent the number to Ben before placing a call across him and immediately he picked up.
"Find out who that phone number belongs to and where the call came from," Xavier said to him.
"Yes sir," Ben said to him in reply.
"You have ten minutes," Xavier said to him before hanging up.
