Chapter 70: Stop Them From Getting Married
With that, he slowly walked towards the entrance of the van while keeping his guard, but once he looked inside, he saw one of the men holding Justin tightly with his gun pointed at Justin's head.

"I must admit that was a very smart move, and I still can't believe that my colleagues easily fell for it. I knew that you were after the kid, so there's no way you would have thrown real grenades into the van, knowing well that the kid was in the van," the kidnapper said to Ben with a wicked smirk.
"Let the kid go," Ben commanded him with a cold tone, and immediately he scoffed mockingly at Ben.
"And why should I do that?" The kidnapper asked him while pressing the gun against Justin's head.
"If you let him go, maybe I would consider leaving you alive and not ending you the same way I ended your colleagues," Ben said to him, and he immediately huffed at him.
"You are so full of yourself, do you know that? Even in situations like this, you are still acting as if you have everything under your control. Well, why don't we do this in my way instead of yours?" The kidnapper asked Ben with a wicked smirk while pressing his gun on the head of Justin, who was still trembling in fear. Even though he was a child, at least he still knew that once the kidnapper pulled the trigger of the gun, he was going to die.
Now if you don't want the little kid to die, I'm going to advise you to drop the gun you are holding in the van and get on your knees," the kidnapper said to Ben, but he remained silent while pointing his gun at him and at the same time being careful not to pull the trigger because the kidnapper was using Justin as a cover, so any slight mistake might result in him shooting Justin.
"Hey dude, didn't you hear what I just said? Look, I'm not afraid of dying; even if I get out of here alive, the boss is still going to kill me himself because I just screwed up the mission. But what about the kid? Do you think he's not afraid of dying? I will advise you to kindly drop that gun of yours and get on your f**king knees before someone's blood spills in this van," the kidnapper said to Ben with gritted teeth, but he remained silent while pointing his gun at him.
"Who is your boss?" Ben asked the kidnapper, and immediately he scoffed angrily at him.
"And who are you to ask me that question? Look, dude, do you think I'm playing some games here with you? I will count out of three, and if your gun isn't yet in this van, I swear through God, I'm going to pull the f**king trigger," the kidnapper said to Ben with a determined tone.
"One, two..." The kidnapper counted, but before he could count three, Ben threw the gun into the van, and immediately the kidnapper smirked at him, and with that, he now pointed the gun at Ben.
"Now get on your f**king knees," he commanded Ben, who was still glaring at him angrily.
"I said get on your f**king knees before I kill you and afterwards the child," the kidnapper said to Ben, and with that, he scoffed at him and started kneeling down slowly. With that, a loud bang filled the air, and immediately Ben widened his eyes in surprise, thinking that the kidnapper had shot Justin, but to his greatest surprise, blood was gushing out of the head of the kidnapper. Looking up, he noticed that the window of the van had shattered, and that was where the bullet came from. Looking at the opposite side of the road, he saw Richard approaching the van while grinning ear to ear.
"How on earth did you do that?" Ben asked Richard once he approached them, and immediately Richard pointed at the roof in front of them, showing the sniper on top of the roof.
"I got some help," Richard said to him, and at the same time, Justin ran out of the car and hugged Richard tightly, and at the same time, hot tears started streaming down his cheeks.
"Why are you crying?" Richard asked him before squatting down to meet his height.
"I thought I was going to die; the man was pointing his gun at my head," Justin said to Richard, who smiled at him before bringing out a tissue from his pocket and wiping away the blood and tears on his face.
"Don't cry anymore; you know real men don't cry, and you should also thank Uncle Ben for saving you," Richard said to Justin, and with that, Ben furrowed his brows while wondering how Richard knew his name.
"Thank you for saving me, uncle Ben," Justin said to Ben, and with that, he squatted down and hugged him.
"Don't mention it; I'm so sorry that you had to go through that," Ben said to him before patting him on the head. At the same time, Xavier arrived at the place, and once he parked the car, he ran towards Justin and hugged him tightly.
"Thank goodness nothing happened to you; you don't know how afraid I was," Xavier said to Justin while hugging him.
"I hope you are okay." Xavier asked him, and he nodded.
"Grandpa and Uncle Ben saved me," Justin said to Xavier, and with that, he raised his head and looked at Richard, who was standing beside the van.
"Good afternoon, Richard," Xavier greeted Richard while stretching out his hand for a handshake. After some minutes of silence, Richard reciprocated the handshake without replying to his greetings.
"Thank you for saving Justin," Xavier said to him.
"There's no need to thank me for that; he's also my grandson. By the way, do you know who the men are?" Richardasked Xavier with a cold tone, and he shook his head negatively.
"Actually, I have been wanting to see you, but the time hasn't presented itself. Now that we have finally met, is it okay if I tell you the reason why I have been wanting to see you?" Xavier asked him.
"I don't mind," Richard said to him.
"Actually, it's about Charles and Sarah; I want you to stop them from getting married," Xavier said to him.
"What!!" Richard exclaimed with furrowed brows.
To be continued.
