Chapter 78: What If I Win It For You
"Let me guess; you have done a thorough background check on me, and you are already aware that I'm not hiding my identity," Charles said to Sarah, and immediately she widened her eyes in surprise.
"How did you know?" She asked Charles with a surprised tone.

Come on, Sarah, don't give me that surprised look. Do you think that I wasn't going to find out?" Charles asked Sarah while grinning ear to ear.
"Well, you weren't supposed to find out," Sarah said to him.
"But I did," Charles said to her confidently while grinning ear to ear.
"But how?" Sarah asked him.
"Will you believe me if I tell you how?" Charles asked Sarah, and she nodded in reply.
"Well, it's the private investigators you hired to run a background check on me who informed me.
"What!!!" Sarah exclaimed in surprise, and immediately Charles smiled at her.
"You see, I knew you wouldn't believe it," Charles said to her.
"No, it's not it; I'm just surprised. Do you mind telling me the name of the investigators that informed you about it? I hired four different investigators, so I can't tell which one of them informed you," Sarah said to Charles, and immediately he shook his head negatively.
"I'm sorry, but I can't do that," Charles said to Sarah.
"And why can't you tell me?" Sarah asked him while feigning to be angry.
"Because, as far as I know, you are surely going to ruin him once you find out who he is," Charles said to her.
"Well, you are absolutely right; I would have surely put him in his place if I found out who he is," Sarah said to Charles.
"Well, thank goodness I didn't tell you then," Charles said to her, and immediately she rolled her eyes at him before sighing angrily.
"I will only advise you to be careful of the investigators you assign works like this one to; many of them out there aren't trustworthy. When you ask them to investigate a famous person or run a background check on him, they will contact the person and tell him about it, and the information you will get is what the person wants," Charles said to Sarah.
"Well, it's to avoid issues like this that I hired four private investigators," Sarah said to Charles confidently.
"But come to think of it, four investigators just to run a background check on one person—don't you think that you exaggerated a little bit?" Charles asked Sarah.
"No of course, I wanted an accurate result. Imagine that the investigator who had informed you about the background check was the only investigator who I hired. Do you think that I would have gotten an accurate result?" Sarah asked Charles, and he shook his head negatively.
"By the way, what did you find out about me after the background check?" Charles asked Sarah.
"I'm sorry to say this, but I can't tell you," Sarah said, and immediately he furrowed his brows at her.
"Why?" He asked her before driving into the central park.
"Because it's confidential, and there are many things I found out about you that I don't want to tell you about," Sarah said to him.
"Things like what?" Sarah asked him with a furrowed.
"Just as I said earlier, it's confidential; I can't tell you," Sarah said to him.
"Whatever," Charles said to her after parking the car and switching it off.
"If you found out anything compromising about me, you wouldn't be here with me; the fact that you are here proves that you didn't find out anything compromising about me," Charles said to Sarah, but she rolled her eyes at him without replying.
"I think we should get going; it's already two p.m., and if we aren't careful, we might not even do a lot of things before dawn," Charles said to Sarah.
"You are right, let's get going," Sarah said to Charles before getting down from the car, and with that, Charles too got down, and after locking the car, he held Sarah's hand and started walking into the central park.
So where do we start?" Charles asked Sarah once we got inside the central park.
"Why don't we play the target board game?" Sarah said to Charles before holding his and drawing him to the game center.
"I want you to win the bunny toy for me," Sarah said to Charles, and with that, he sighed heavily.
"A minute, let me get the arrows," Charles said to Sarah before walking to the game manager and purchasing the arrows.
"You know we can simply purchase the bunny and move on to another thing," Charles said to Sarah after returning with the arrows.
"Come on, Charles, how is it going to be interesting if we go on purchasing the prizes instead of winning them like everyone?" Sarah asked Charles, and immediately he sighed heavily.
"Or don't you know how to play it?" Sarah said to Charles with a furrowed and challenging tone.
"Of course I know how to play it," Charles said to her confidently.
"Then go and show me what you got," Sarah said to Charles, and with that, he smiled at her before picking one of the arrows and approaching the throwing point. After some minutes of concentration, he threw the first arrow, but to Sarah's greatest surprise, it didn't reach anywhere near the middle red dot while corresponding to the bunny.
"Seriously?" Sarah asked him what furrowed brows were.
"Wait, I didn't take the target very well before throwing it; I will try again," Charles said to Sarah before picking another arrow and throwing it at the board, but it was the same as the first attempt.
"Don't you think we should just purchase the bunny and move on with other things?" Charles asked Sarah after his fifth fruitless attempt.
As Sarah was about to reply, a voice interrupted her from behind.
"What about you if I win it for you?" A voice sounded from behind, and immediately Sarah and Charles turned around, only to see Xavier and Justin standing behind them while grinning ear to ear.
